Horrible experience. 5/11/23 vehicle delivered to AAMCO. I waited 15 days for approval. AAMCO contacts me, I would have to pay $438 if I didn't want to wait for CarShield to send parts. Using AAMCO parts would not be covered if there is an issue later. Get truck 5/30, On 6/16 go to have the fluids checked. Told to return on6/17. I got home, the transmission light came on and quit moving. Towed it back to AAMCO. On 6/27, pick-up truck. On 6/28, the powertrain and transmission light comes on the dash. 6/29, AAMCO believes it is a bad sensor. AAMCO drives vehicle over the weekend. 7/3, vehicle fixed. I drive to Alabama where a loud vibration starts. I pulled off the interstate to have it checked. Firestone looked at the vehicle. They show me the driveshaft is barely hanging on by one bolt and the other is missing. I now don't trust any work that has been done by AAMCO. 7/25, AAMCO owner gets photo and video of the drive shaft hanging. 7/31, meet Owner who has checks vehicle, we discuss my horrible experience, and they could have killed my family. I asked for compensation and get an invoice that says, "Customer wants compensation. He was offered an inhouse credit for future repairs." Owner Robert Sanchez when questioned about this, states he wants to keep me as a customer. I advise that with my experience, I wouldn't want to have service completed here again. He offers a different location. I express I'm not comfortable with that. I asked for a dollar amount to be added to the invoice to protect him and I. He refused. So, it is a useless invoice/legal document. I advised I would consider it. I requested AAMCO pay the amount of $800, the second rental car cost and inconvenience. Sanchez states, he doesn't reimburse people for rentals. He offers me a check. I'm so done by this time, I agree. I want to caution anyone that uses Brandon AAMCO you have made a mistake. Don't go through the frustration that I did!

Not an easy task this is it 1981 Dodge crew cab over 30 years old and very customized pick. Every part of this truck is custom. And they fixed the leak between the transmission and the transfer case. Additionally, they cleaned up all the fluid off the underneath of the truck which was everywhere. They did this in a timely manner and communicated with me on this. They were honest, trustworthy, and reliable. I appreciate the customer service as well thank you very much. I trust my truck with few people out there. You are now one of them. http://read.uberflip.com/i/833766-july-2017/0? Page 52

I fix most of my stuff myself. But when it beyond my skill level. Rob at Aamco is the only person I let work on my vehicles.

I am so grateful for this Mavis Tires and Breaks location…read more I woke up this morning to get ready to run errands, and when I stepped outside, I found my back right tire flat. Fortunately, after putting air in the tires to get me to their location, I called to check if my size tire was in stock, and it was. Another thing to be thankful for is that, instead of buying a whole new tire, I was able to get a repair for a small puncture. Needless to say, when it is time to replace my tires, guess where I'm going??? Mavis Tires and Breaks on Lithia Pinecrest Rd. I'm grateful this happened on a Sunday, not a Monday, so that I could be present for my workweek. Thank you again, Mavis.

I was specifically directed to this location by customer service because they were the only store…read morewith run-flat tires in stock. I drove 20 miles from USF on a completely flat tire -- stopping multiple times to re-inflate with a portable inflator just to get here safely. My original Saturday appointment was canceled due to their "system issues," so I had to reschedule to Sunday. After a stressful, dangerous drive through traffic on a failing tire, I arrived at 4:15 -- just 15 minutes past my 4:00 appointment. They got my car up on the ramp and began work. While waiting, I stepped toward a nearby bakery and casually took a photo of my own car on the ramp -- a personal snapshot of the ordeal I'd been through. Within seconds, a staff member called me inside and spoke to me in an aggressive, demeaning tone, saying they "weren't okay" with me taking pictures. I calmly explained I had no idea about any such policy and immediately offered to delete the photo. That should have been the end of it. Instead, he continued making derogatory remarks, talked over me, and refused to hear me out. He then told me they were pulling my car off the ramp and I could leave. Let that sink in -- they left a customer stranded with a flat tire in the middle of a storm over an unknowing, harmless photo of their own vehicle. No signage about a photo policy. No polite request. Just hostility and humiliation from start to finish. Everything about this situation could have been resolved with a single respectful sentence. I would have happily complied. Instead, this staff member chose intimidation over basic professionalism. I urge anyone considering this location to think carefully. If this is how they treat a paying customer who followed their own service team's directions to get here, imagine how little they value your time, safety, or dignity.
