Food was delicious and the service was great. The server was very attentive and she made sure we got everything on time. 100% coming back here.

Sweaty dining experience! Ordered their lamb biryani and it was a lot of flavors packed into a small bowl. That being said I wish the portion size was bigger. This location was an interesting setup because I never seen an Indian restaurant + bar setup before. The service was slow.. I ended up taking my partner's water because they never refilled. Overall an 3.5*!

The food is really really good. There's a lot of love put into the recipes and you can really taste the difference. We get the chicken tikka masala, naan, panipuri and fish appetizer. The servers are very nice. The ambiance of the place is really great. A hidden gem.

I like this place. I think they had a change in ownership with some furniture being replaced. I've always appreciated the good and service here. I had a stout beer which was fine. I tend to be drinking more dark beers especially German ones. The mo mo's are always good. This time I had the "Buff" ones which are buffalo. They kind of remind me of Chinese Shanghai dumplings. Garlic naan always a good addition to your main course. The goat thali was good in that you received a various selection of food items. I'll be back.

Went here for my friend's birthday and everything was delicious! I've been to a couple Indian places in the Bay Area but I can say that they have some of the best garlic naan and butter chicken. All of the appetizers were amazing too, would highly recommend the stir fried noodles with chicken and the chicken momo. It's pretty dark and warm inside, food came quick too and service was attentive. Would definitely come again.

The food was great, wait staff was polite and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and had a cozy interior. The biggest area of improvement for me was price and portion sizing; we picked this spot for the novelty of the food and idea of having a venue to snack at. But as pictured the strawberry lassi is quite small (not mine), and while I typically can't stomach a full plate to myself and we were aiming to snack anyway, the plate the lunch special was served on ended up quite shallow.. not pictured but we got extra naan and takeout curry, and the total was $81 after tip. I've definitely had similar quality food for less..

We've been several times. Both done in and take out. The last time we were here was take out and it was just okay, not great - maybe takeout doesn't travel well? So we chose to dine in on January. We called a reservation for 6 on a Friday night. Street parking was easy. The restaurant was pretty quiet with just a few occupied tables, I think they had a few deliveries/take outs picked up while we were there. We had a great dinner! Everybody was happy with their meal. My Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. I ordered it medium spicy, and it was just a right level of heat for me. I would come back here again!

always my go to for chicken tikka and brought my gf to try and she said 10/10 would recommend! tried the butter chicken and it was different but a good different. service was very solid and the environment was very quiet and laid back which was nice too esp for those wanting a more relaxed but energetic environment garlic naan was always a fan favorite and still a fan favorite the sev battata puri was sooo goood and is a go to everytime we come so def would come back again

All of the food here is delicious. The restaurant is nice and quiet and the service was quick. I would definitely come back and order everything I had again. The parking lot is a small lot right next to the restaurant. It has a cute small outdoor area in the back as well.

I was craving for some spicy vegetable momos and found this place on Yelp. The reviews were high so I wanted to give this place a shot. My friends and I ordered chai, veggie momos, veggie chowmein, paneer tikka masala and garlic naan. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant was decorated well with Nepalese ornaments and had a very traditional touch. The presentation of the veggie momos was top notch. The momos were covered in a spicy garlic sauce and were coupled together with bell peppers and onions. The flavor of the momos was really good. We liked it so much that we ordered another round. The chai was cold, so unfortunately we had to ask them to redo it. The chowmein was bland so we asked for some chilly garlic sauce to enhance the flavor. The paneer gravy and the naan were cooked to perfection. The service was very good. Our server ensured that we were well taken care of. If you are in the area, you should definitely try the spicy veggie momos for sure !

Was a bit disappointed, but may dine-in is better than take-out? My review is based on food delivery, not in-store purchase! Ordered the Khasi Ko Bhutuwa Set which is the Pan fried bone-in goat served with flattened rice, and Aloo Ko Achar (Nepali potato salad). The in-store pictures of the dish looked a lot better with a bigger portion, you can compare to the take-out version in the pictures below. The goat meat had A LOT of bones, not a lot of meat, was quite disappointed by the small amount of meat. I also ordered the Samosa Chaat which has Chopped vegetable samosa tossed with onions, chickpeas, topped with tamarind chutney, mint chutney, yogurt, and chaat masala. It is essentially as deconstructed Samosa Channa, but I didn't know that when I ordered it haha. It was a pleasant surprise and it was great, but I'll definitely order the Samosa Chaat next time because I like the crispy outer later!

The masala and garlic naan is soo good!

I went with some co workers for lunch and we shared what we individually ordered amongst ourselves because it was our first time getting Nepali food. When we arrived, there was no one at the front. Mind you, we came in 30 mins after opening for lunch. We rang the bell multiple times and then as we were about to go to a different place, thinking there was no one around, the cook came out and took our orders. I could tell he was a but overwhelmed since we were a group of 5, but he was really nice and courteous. He also answered the questions we had concerning the food. It took about 40 - 50 mins for our food to get in. We were the only ones in the restaurant so I'm surprised it took the long. That being said, i realized there was only one cook in the kitchen to it makes sense why it took so long however, I was not mentally prepared to wait that long. Around 12 pm, the hostess came in and was shocked to see us. She apologized for being late and wanted to get our orders but we told her the cook already got them. After waiting for about 50 mins, we finally got our orders. The food was AMAZING. Starting with the chicken sekuwa. It was a complete 10/10. I would definitely come back just for this. It was seasoned to perfection, very tender and juicy. The C Momo was very crispy and covered in a nice sweet chilli sauce. They're like deep fried dumplings. I would give it an 8/10. The lamb curry was very savory and filling. We got that with some rice and roti. It paired very well. I would also rate that an 8/10. The lamb thali was good but I think I was overwhelmed with everything on the plate. It was not bad, the lamb and lentil soup were good but I think I did not know how best to eat it so I could not fully appreciate it. I would give it a 6.5 The thai iced tea was pretty standard one. Very nice and not too sweet. 8/10 for ne The food here was pretty remarkable. I usually don't care about 'bad' service but this one really had a huge impact and stopped me from giving it a higher rating. I would not be too keen on coming back here with how understaffed they are but I do understand. If you're not in a rush, and are ready to grow your fruit of patience, I would definitely say the food is worth the wait and it was really good.

We were seated immediately and didn't need to look at the menu too long before we ordered. We decided on pani puri and veggie samosas for apps and tikka masala and butter chicken, rice and garlic naan. I ordered a vegan mango lassi and him a regular mango lassi. The pani puri was ok. I like the crispy, but I wasn't too fond of the filling to be chilled. It also had a slight sweetness to it and it wasn't my favorite. I've had it before, but I don't remember it being chilled on the inside, but what I do like about it what is that? It has a crispy shell when you bite into it. The veggie samosas were my favorites. The butter chicken was kind of bland as well as the tikka masala. It did not stop me from finishing my garlic naan with our dishes but I found myself wishing it was more flavorful. My vegan mango lassi had a taste that I wasn't too fond of and didn't finish it. At the end of the meal, it was more than $100 and that was sticker shock for me. A few Sunday evenings ago, I arrived at 5:30pm, right when the restaurant opened. Daniel, our server/co-owner, provided great service and entree recommendations as this was my first visit. Definitely had to try the momo and I opted for the vegetarian option. The momo can be described as a little dumpling and the way Kathmandu served it, these definitely were NOT from a frozen bag from the grocery store. I also had a bowl of Thukpa soup, which is stew-like with noodles. The flavors were really in the soup base, which was mildy spicy that had a nice little kick. The best part of the meal was the Vegetable Dahl Bhat with lentil soup. Everything tasted as if someone's mom was cooking in the kitchen. No heavy oils or greasiness, no heavy feeling after eating. Everything paired nicely with each other. I believe Daniel's mom was the chef in the kitchen cooking all these delicious eats. Thank you Daniel for the great service and taking the time to share about your family/restaurant history. Looking forward to my next visit. #34/2022
