I've been coming here for a really long time. Rehka and Pooja are my favorite threaders. I usually get full face threading and my brows are always exactly how I want them. I've tried facials and hair masks as well. The herbal hair mask is my favorite because it's natural, helps with itchy scalp, and makes my hair super shiny. I've had it with both Rehka and Ritu. I got the eminence facial last time, I don't remember the name of the woman that did my facial but she did a good job. I didn't notice a big transformation in my skin but it was still an enjoyable experience. Last time I went in I paid for my service and tipped on card like usual but the front desk person was kind of rude about it and said "cash is better". As long as I've been coming here they've never had a cash only policy so I'm not sure if something changed. Either way, it's not polite to make someone feel bad about tipping on card especially when they don't have a sign saying cash tips only. Aside from the occasional rude front desk staff I definitely recommend coming here for threading with Rehka and Pooja. read more

Highly disappointed. Been a loyal customer for 8 years. Went in for a threading and came out with a massive blood clot on my face. Instead of apologising or suggesting remedies, the technician Deepa just kept insisting she didn't do it. Really sad to see this place go downhill. read more

My first time here I ended up with skin burn and it's scarred. I gave them a second chance after this experience. It has been going good the past few months. I had an appointment went 10 minutes early and waited for my turn. When it's my turn, they say they are double booked and someone else will do it. Even when I reject they insist that other person do it for me today. I didn't want to get it done with someone else as I don't trust others after my initial experience. The person whom I always go to wants to help other person customer than her own customer. They lost one customer today. I am never going back. read more

After having my eyebrows ruined twice at my last place, I decided to get my brows done here after reading such great reviews on here. I booked my appointment with Pooja since I read many people recommending her. However, I got off work early, but couldn't be seen early so I ended up having Mandy do my brows. Mandy did a FANTASTIC JOB! She left my eyebrows thick but shaped them so they had a nice arch. I told her how my last experiences left me with overly thin eyebrows and since my brows are thin, it took months to grow them back, and she recommended that I use castor oil to help the hair grow back. Now it's been 3 weeks and with some minor maintenance, my eyebrows are still looking great! I can't wait to book another appointment here! read more

I haven't gotten work done on my eyebrows in about 5-7 years. I used to get them waxed all the time and tried threading less than a handful of times in the past. On this day (09/30/2017), I just felt super lazy to pluck my own brows so I Yelped to see what looked legit around me. Based on the reviews, I had two people in mind that I wanted to go to but unfortunately they were not available. I made an appointment online with Pooja, which was extremely easy and user friendly. My appointment was at 11am and I arrived around 10:55am. I was called up around 11:10am. Pooja was careful in her work and explained what she was doing and made it clear that she wouldn't do too much here or there since one of my brows were thinner than the other. I also got my upper lip threaded as well. Because this place seemed legit I wasn't really worried about much. Luckily I've had good luck with threading and have not come across anyone who didn't know what they were doing (knock on wood). It's been so long I forgot how painful it is. It's not horrible pain but I hate when the thin thread feels like it's going to cut my eyelid or cut my eye lashes off! It is worth the pain though, lol. $15 for brows and upper lip is not bad at all for good work. Their salon is very clean and welcoming as well. All the brow and threading technicians are great! This place never spoils your eyebrows. Pooja and Durga are two technicians who are my go to people. They both are quick, take great care of your concerns and thread perfectly. Other than that I have tried their facial and waxing. Most of the technicians are very nice and know their job well. Owner is very friendly and she works on your concerns perfectly. The products they use are mostly natural and the premise is super clean. The appointments are easy to book through yelp or through their website. Wait time is minimum most of the times. Except with one new technician I always had a good experience! She went too personal with commenting non stop even after multiple reminders. Also didn't like the waxing technique which was painful and wax was left on the skin at multiple spots. Which was hard to remove with dry course towel that was offered to me. I won't be going back to her. I can't let one experience ruin my other multiple times here. After Rekha left I use to go to Durga and Pooja and they both are really good too. But since Durga left on maternity, Pooja is overbooked and harder to get an appointment so I searched and found Rekha in Palo Alto. I've been going to Aarna for a while now, at least 4 years. I worked down the street, and it was mostly just convenient. When I first started going here, Rekha was my girl. She always slayed my brows, and was meticulous in perfecting exactly what I wanted. Well, she left a while back and I was lost for a bit. I tried a few other people but no one really clicked for me. That is, until I had a chance with Mandy. Mandy is *the* best, she's always professional and easygoing. I don't work down the street anymore, and definitely don't come to Santa Clara as often.
