LADIES BEWARE Sewage water backed up into my home because of tree roots in the sewer line. Aaron Plumbing came out to assess the situation. The plumber ran a camera down the sewer line which could show not only where the problem was but also how deep and how long the sewer line was. He showed me exactly where the problem was and gave me a quote of approximately $8,000, which I agreed to. A couple of days later they came and started the repair. About half-way through the completion of the job, the plumber comes knocking on my door to tell me that it was a lot deeper than he originally thought and they would have to dig a bigger and deeper hole. This of course, was going to cost more - $5,000 more! The cost went from $8,000 to $13,000! I asked why, and he said that the depth and width of the excavation was not foreseen. That simply was not true. He knew exactly how deep and long the sewer line was because the camera took measurements as well as videos. Unfortunately, at the time of this conversation, I didn't recall that the camera showed the depth and length of the sewer line, or I would have argued this point with the plumber. The huge hole was already dug, and I was afraid of another sewer backup. This whole situation had been very emotional, and I wanted the job done. I didn't know what recourse I had. I'm posting this because I don't want anybody else to be taken advantage of like I was. It seems like nowadays you have to be an expert at everything you need done in your home or you'll be taken advantage of, especially us single women. So. ladies beware, don't let your emotions get in the way, pause and get a second opinion regardless of what stage the job is in. I do not recommend Aaron Plumbing, because I was mislead and duped. read more

We were on borrowed time with our 20 year old water heater and made a few calls. We also contemplated having a friend install one we would buy from a store. We then thought about what would happen if there's an accident, a leak In a year, etc. We made some calls and chose Aaron plumbing. Was Aaron the least expensive. No, but when you're making a decision as a homeowner, this is one of those items that you just don't want to cheap out on. Aaron Plumbing was professional from start to finish, our estimate was done by the plumber who was going to do all the work. He was honest about the changes required by code since our current one was so old. Doug was on time, professional, kept us informed on each step of the installation and the final price was the exact same as the estimate. Horrible Horrible service. I called to make an appointment well in advance for a tankless water heater leak. I haven't moved into the home yet so I drove hours to make this appointment between the hours of 8-12. I was told that I would be the first person on the list. After driving hours I arrived at my home before 8am. I waited till 11:45 to call to ask for a status only to get told that there was an emergency with busted pipes that they have been dealing with. My quam comes from you had a 4 hour window to let me know that instead I had to call to find out a status they asked to reschedule. I said no thank you and left it at that then afterwards I received another call after I send a text out about how I was going to put a review on how disappointed I was. The individual offered me a free membership which means nothing because they will still make money of me in the future and also offered my service for the tankless water heater that I drove hours to come and make sure was taken cared of they offered a discounted price on fixing it. How unjust! After I just drove 8 hours to meet you for an appointment that you stood me up on. And all they could offer was a discount and another discount on a membership that would make money of with. It would have been courteous if they offered the service for free considering i drove so far for the appointment only to drive back with nothing being done. That's how they could have made it right. Especially since they are the ones that installed the water heater in 22. I normally don't do reviews but I'm really disappointed. The technician arrived on time and called with an eta. Victor was clearly knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions regarding the yearly service on my tankless water heater. He graciously advised me on a way to update my system to meet code. He completed the service and installation of the new updated part with quality craftsmanship and had extensive understanding of the system and explained it with ease. "rip-off artists" I had three plumbing companies tell me what to watch out for with a septic pump-out and they were 100% correct. "They will quote a low price then find reasons to charge more when they arrive." I had a VERY long discussion with this company of EXACTLY what I needed and all the factor to make sure we were on the same page. AND YET, the minute they dig it up and see the waste - 2 inches from the top and not in any way an issue - "sorry it will now be $350 more" NO! I will NOT be ripped off because you think I can't say no! And I will be sure other customers know your practices. Sorry but my time is to precious to play games. You had one shot and you blew it. I had a lengthy discussion to prevent this. Offering "free" after you realized you couldn't rip me off is worse than admitting a mistake. read more

Jean pier showed up 1.5 hours late, checked the AC unit, not sure what was, then recommended refrigerant at $125 per pound, he said I probably have leak, duh, so I asked where he said I he would need to do a leak test. I said shouldn't you do that first, he said that's no our process, it was quickly apparent that he does not know AC units! So I paid $99 for the service call and did not even get a new filter... Find the source of the problem.... I would not recommend this company for anything AC related! read more

Aaron Services doesn't install Septic Tanks. they said they will make repairs to tanks already in the ground. They said they used to install septic tanks and that they would like to offer that service again in the future. I changed my review from 1 star to 3 after they were nice and called me back. I'd previously found Aaron's Services for a plumbing problem and was pleased with their work. Recently, my furnace completely quit and of course it was during a cold snap. I called Aaron's Services for HVAC service and again was met with great service. Yves came out and inspected the problem, taking video of the inspection so I could clearly see the issue and know he wasn't making anything up (good idea!). It turned out that my furnace was unable to be repaired (it lasted well beyond 15 years) so replacement it was. My options were clearly explained along with the pricing and timing, including that it could take up to two days to complete. I got the work scheduled with hopes it would be finished in one day. Three wonderful technicians - Jean-Pierre, Zack, and Paul - spent all day working hard to install the new furnace. Located in my crawlspace, the job required a lot of maneuvering and patience. From 9:30 am in the morning to well after the sun had set, the three worked in the cold. Around 7pm, they told me to flip the switch, and we had heat again! I can't tell you how grateful I am for their drive and determination to complete this job. And all three were very polite, courteous, and friendly. Their estimate for repairs was extremely overpriced - their bid was more than twice the amount I ended up paying, and the contractor I chose was very highly reviewed in this forum. Aaron has excellent reviews for professionalism and service, probably true, but their services are highly overpriced. Look elsewhere for excellent service AS WELL AS reasonable prices. read more

Aarons has been great! We had a sewage overflow from our septic tank with a gas line break. Gas company said it would be 7-10 days to reroute the line after the fix. Kim at Aarons really went the extra mile and got the gas company moving and we had the line re-routed by the end of the day. We are so greatful to have our plumbing back. Would give 4.5 though because the emergency water crew they suggested, while they did come out when other services would not, Emergency Water crew was lazy. Very courteous, but lazy. They never cleaned the feces from the areas that were wet initially and only cut the wall that insurance said they could. So, today cleaning the rest of our poop off the ground. Overall Aarons goes above and beyond but the cleaning crew they suggested was not thorough. Thank you Kim!! read more

I just asked them to come back and fix my garbage disposal. The price came in under expectations and was done well by Malcolm very quickly and quite cleanly. Aaron plumbing charged me $1223 and didn't fix the problem they were called for. To actually fix the problem they gave me another quote for $2200 and but that did not guarantee the fix. I have no idea how this company and its people have survived as a company. We had a water backed up in our living room due to a tree root in our sewer pipe somewhere in the front yard. Aaron plumbing started video inspection from the inside the house after taking off the toilet in bathroom -- they should not have. The first point on inspection should have been outside the house sever access valve. Instead they took off the toilet and found nothing in the inspection for which they charged $598 and another $625 to put the toilet back, and finally after a video inspection from the from yard sewer valve access they found that the problem in outside somewhere 14 feet away and a $2200 quote to fix the problem, if found!!! otherwise $5000-$7000 to replace the sewer line. I got the problem fixed with Nova Plumbing with less than $2000 and they found the problem 3 feet away from sewer valve access in the front yard. Now if I had agreed with Aaron Plumbing they would have found nothing at 14 feet and they would have asked me to replace the entire sewer line for $7000. Stay away from these people. read more
