We realized my prior technician hadnt reset my laundry accordion doors properly, and the prior tech had forgotten to turn the gas back on. Ray ran multiple cycles and diagnosed a faulty ignition- sometimes on/off. After it was all done, he cleaned up and attached my door back in place. He was patient and thorough, we ran a small load if wet laundry while resetting everything and cleaning. Once he confirmed it all worked reliably, he was done. One company told me they charge $99 for a technician to come out to do an assessment, and do not apply that fee toward any repairs. Next! A couple places had five-star ratings, but closer inspection revealed reams of clearly AI-generated fake reviews. Another company did not return my call. Which turned out to be for the best, because the next call I placed was to Pacific Appliance Repair, who were able to schedule a service appointment for me the following day. A very nice father and son team showed up the next morning (on the earlier side of the appointment window, no less), and were able to diagnose and fix the problem (capacitor and wiring issue) in less than an hour, enabling me to type out this review in cool comfort.
