I bought and paid for furniture, which upon delivery they ripped and broke and we're supposed to replace it. Today was the fourth delivery attempt with a no-show again when I ask why it was taking so long they had sold my furniture to somebody else that I had already paid for. I am filing a police report for fraud and taking them to court, do not waste your time here. The store is absolutely horrible. I've dealt with them for 20 years This has been the worst experience in my life. I just got off the phone with Aaron's headquarters. Terrible terrible service!!!! I have used Aaron's for years before and so we thought it would be a good idea to go back to them. Worst idea ever!!!! We have been double charged, over charged, and lied to by the manager. I was told it was refunded, it got refunded wrong so on top of the 6 days since I was told it would go in to my account, I have to wait another possible 10 to get my money back that they happily removed from my account when it wasn't supposed to be. Rented a living room set in December, 2018. No problems. Life being what it is, I ended up not needing the living room set anymore and called the W. 11th store to have it picked up. The man I spoke with (twice) on or around March 6th asked me why I wanted to return the furniture after having paid so much toward ownership. I explained that I no longer needed the furniture and that I was well aware of the money I had already spent. He then offered to let me keep the furniture for $1,000. Then, it was $500. The man then informed me that, for $50, I could KEEP the living room set. Again, I refused. I subsequently spoke with Amber and requested a pick-up on Thursday, March 12th, because I *absolutely had* to be out of my apartment no later than March 13th. Amber informed me that, since they did not schedule pickups on Thursdays *or* Fridays, Aaron's would pick up the furniture on Tuesday, March 10th between 4pm and 7pm and I agreed. 7pm, March 10th came and went. Aaron's *never showed up, never called*. When I contacted the store, they said their truck had broken down and they rescheduled the pick up for Friday, March 13th between 10am and 2pm. Fine. At 4:56pm *on March 13th* I called and asked for an update as NO ONE HAD CONTACTED ME AT ALL that day. Amber, who seemed utterly bewildered by my dilemma, told me she would check on this and offered to call me back, at which time I provided her with my cell number. No. Call. Back. At *8pm", I spoke with Stephanie about the fact that I'd been waiting on Aaron's to pick up this furniture since 10am. Stephanie, whose customer service skills are *poor* to say the least, offered neither an apology nor a solution. She simply said, "Our driver called in sick. You'll have to reschedule." After calmly explaining the situation *once again*, this rude young woman huffed audibly and stated, "Well, I'll have to talk to my GM." At that point, I asked her what I should do. No response. When I advised Stephanie that I could leave the furniture on the patio, Stephanie hung up on me. Do. Not. Do. Business. With. Aaron's. It's not worth the aggravation. UPDATE: After receiving three phone calls from three different employees (Bryan and two other individuals) the furniture *still* had not been picked up from my old apartment by March 17th. Me and my family bought a computer setUp from them and signed up for a bimonthly payment we're we have to call to pay the bill for it. We took it bAck because they signed us up for the autopay with wee never wanted and charged us twice in the same month for full payments. I know that the store has had problems in the past. But there has been a huge shift in management. The customer service there is now amazing. The customers are truly cared for in valued. This store is the worst of the local "Rent to own's". They are quick to sign you up with a contract but they're service goes to hell the moment you sign. I have used the local Rent-a-center in the past but they didn't have a recliner that I wanted so I tried Aarons thinking they would be the same, my mistake... I have broken items in the past (that were totally my fault I must admit) and Rent-a-center would help me to find the cheapest place to fix it or in some instances just replace it in the spirit of great customer service, Aarons told me and I quote "You broke it so don't think you can get out of paying for it"... I was asking if they had a vendor that could help me repair it on my dollar... Overall they were extremely rude and quite obviously don't care about anything after the contract is signed. I would strongly recommend Rent-a-center or saving your money to buy what you are looking for at a decent price somewhere else.. read more

My wife and I have been with this Aaron's for over 8 yrs. We achieved Gold Status last year. NEVER had an issue. Something gets broke, they are on it. They've worked with us on a slightly late payment a couple three times. We have bought a TV, 2 laptops, a complete Bedroom set, washer and dryer and are today upgrading our TV form the last one we bought from them. read more

From the beginning I have had problems with this Aarons. When they sold me my bed the sales woman was mean and unhelpful and after a month of having it the box springs broke. They seemed to be very helpful over the phone saying they would fix it however they scheduled three different times to come pick it up and they missed all three times. When i finally called in to tell them they did not pick up my box springs they finally sent someone to pick them up and the new ones the gave me broke instantly. I have complained multiple times but each time they offer me half a**ed solutions so I am finally deciding to return the piece of junk and the general manager will not let me return it! I have had a few problems with fraud on my account and she would not work with me to give me some leeway and now she will not pick up their bed unless I give them more money on a bed that has broke multiple times. And what makes it worse is it is 6 days away from Christmas and this store will not help me. This is the opposite of customer service and I will never do business with them again.
