It is the day before Thanksgiving and as a last minute idea I decided to smoke my turkey using the Traeger turkey and brine pellet combo. I looked online and saw Ace carried the product and had it in stock so I placed the order online. After an hour or so I had not heard anything about being able to pick it up so I tried to call the store 19 times! I wish I was being sarcastic, but I am being literal. I got no answer any of the 19 calls, I called the corporate number to check on my order. They confirmed that the store was in fact OPEN, so there was no reason for them not to be answering. I was also ensured that my order was ready for pick up. I drove one hour to the location only to find out that the store closed at 1pm. Before I placed the order I checking google and their Facebook page to make sure they were open, which they were supposed to be. Apparently I was not the only one surprised by this because there were six other people that were attempting to enter the store while I was trying to understand this stupidity of this circumstance. I decided to call the corporate number to cancel my order and they were just as confused as be about them being closed. Apparently they also had no knowledge that one of their stores was closing early. They told me I should file a complaint. I typically would not complain about something like this because I understand that employees need time with their families for holidays, but to not make any update of this information in a location that a customer would look is completely ridiculous from a business point of view. If you are looking for any products they carry I can assure you there are more dependable and reliable places not too far from here. Do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else.

Cash America is one the worst and most inconsistent pawn shops in Greensboro. The store associates…read moregive you the run around whenever you come in to pawn or sell an item (one day they say they will accept an item, then when you get there they say they aren't accepting said item). The associates also seem to be overly selective with who they choose to do business with, even if it is a profitable item you are looking to sell or pawn. They use the "we have enough of that in our inventory" excuse quite often with certain people, I've noticed. If you are looking for a reasonable pawn shop in the Greensboro area to sell/pawn items, I highly recommend National Pawn and Jewelry on Battleground Ave. The associates there are way more friendly and willing to work with you. Even if you have an item that they may have "too much of" in their inventory, they will still work with you and give you a reasonable amount of money. Cash America Pawn is a joke.

He showed us…read morewhat we asked to see and then spent over 10 minutes helping us find whats best for us, what we really wanted, and showing us different ways that we could afford to get it. He then sent us to John because he was in the middle of helping another customer and John helped us find a mattress in stock that was close enough to what we had picked previously but unfortunately they don't usually keep the higher end mattresses in stock. Normally ordering the mattress wouldn't be a problem but it was an emergency situation and we had to have one today! Either way we were able to find a perfect mattress and adjustable frame through progressive financing, tried for synchrony but didn't get it. Regardless.... Last minute we walked in, Lamont and John hooked us up within an hour and a half to two hours and we couldn't be happier. These guys are great!

I will never donate to the Salvation Army again. I've been at the location on Elm Street 3…read moredifferent times and each time, the employees huffed and puffed and acted as if they didn't need the things I was donating to them. The employees that unloaded the items were as if they were doing me a favor. I will go to Goodwill from now on, when I donate to them, they are at least happy to have the donation and don't make me feel as if I'm an irritation or bother to them.
