Well, the Asst Mgr, Carlos, told us we can get interest free financing for 48 months "but only this week because the promotion was about to end", so we agreed. Afterwards I find out the docs I signed was for 12 months. I would never have knowingly agreed to that due to the fact that I could have taken a loan for much less interest but even more so, I would have gone elsewhere to buy the furniture. I had already taken the total and calculated the payments I knew we could afford to pay. Understand, we have very good credit scores so that would not have been an issue. Of course I didn't realize this until I was having a horrible time with getting payments set up with the credit company Fortiva which took 2 months to get it done. The payment amounts were for 2 year financing and when I asked why it was only 24 months financing they explained it was interest free for only 12 months. I contacted Badcock Corp and there's nothing they can do. So, I contacted Fortiva again, there's nothing they can do. My last ditch effort was contacting the store Asst Mgr, Carlos, which of course said he never said that. I am not perfect but I do NOT lie! I should have closely read the documents I was signing on that little screen. I wish I had. The Good Lord knows who is right and wrong in this so since He is the High Judge of all, He will make this right on my behalf. Please do not let yourself be wronged, duped, lied to. Get it in writing and read what you are signing. Carlos, shame on you. I trusted in your word. Now I have to make payments I cannot afford bc they must be 4 times the amount every month, otherwise pay 29.99% interest on the whole balance if not paid in 12 months. WHAT A DEAL! I am disabled and not able to work so I cannot go out and get a job to make up the difference. I hope millions of people sees this and never does business with Badcock Furniture. We work hard to make ends meet and can't afford to be scammed, duped and lied to regarding our finances.

Well what they don't tell you is that if you decide to take one that is cheaper that they are going to steal from you and keep the difference. We are out approx. $450.00. It gets better. The original mattress that arrived was either USED or damaged. The mattress had a huge dip that is formed when someone lays on it. Of course they claim they would not sell you a USED mattress but if it wasn't then it was faulty from the factory from the beginning. What made matters worse was the inconsiderate, uncaring attitude of their store manager Robert. First of all this went on for almost a week. Every day we would call to speak with him and were always told he will call you back by the end of the business day. Finally had to threaten with ugly emails, reviews etc and he was out of the office but WOW suddenly stepped back in and could take my call. It didn't matter. He did us a "solid" yes his words, by taking it back. Hmmmm ok that's your policy? He did not care, he would not listen, said there was no way that mattress was USED or damaged etc, etc. We even invited them to come to the house and lay on it for themselves. Someone from the warehouse was suppose to do just that but WOW they ended up in the ER that day!
