So when I discovered several sprinkler heads needing replacing, I headed to Home Depot. Most sprinkler systems utilize either a 1/2 inch system or a 3/4 inch system. Unfortunately for me my system has a combination of both. So on this particular trip I was looking for both. I found exactly what I was looking for down the "Irrigation" isle. Home Depot has a nice selection of different heads - for both 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch. I also wanted to get the necessary adaptors so that I could transition from 3/4 to 1/2 inch, or vice versa. I also found those required fittings. After getting everything I needed (plus a few things I thought would be good additions to my "emergency" sprinkler system repair bag) I checked out. I really like the self checkout counters. I remember when they did not have them and sometimes the wait for checking out was a real drag. I zoomed through the self checkout and headed home with all the things I needed for a fun-filled morning bonding with my lawn (yeah just what I wanted to do on a beautiful day .....hmmm, I think I hear my motorcycle calling me, lol). I give this Home Depot 4 Stars, because DIY'ers can find pretty much find everything they need to do a project. Also ease and expediency of checkout is a plus. The only downside is when you're looking for someone to help you, it can take some time for a body to actually show up. That being said, everyone I've interacted with has been nice, respectful, and knowledgeable. I frequent this store often and most certainly will continue to do so.

I got the unit home and installed it, and for a few months it worked great. The past few weeks however, it started having trouble with the drain pump. It wouldnt complete the wash cycle and stopped with error codes on tje screen due to the drain pump sporadically not working. I'm a handy guy so I took the back cover off expecting to just replace the drain pump with a new unit off amazon or something. Too my horror I found that this company attempted replacing 2 wires to the drain pump that had previously worn through, by twisting new wires together with the old wires to make a bypass/patch. The wires were only electrical taped together. No connectors. No solder joints. Just a twist and a prayer. These wires are 110volt AC wires to the pump that came loose, were arcing and sparking and very well could have burned my house down! I REPAIRED THE WASHER MYSELF PROPERLY, and all is well now. Do yourself a favor and dont buy from this company if you value your loved ones and the home you made together.....

Two weeks ago both washer and dryer broke down and needed replacement. I went to a few places and was taken aback by prices of new sets. I wound up at Topline on Courtenay in MIsland, where I met salesman, John (JB) Boyd. He was both knowledgeable and informative and has been with the company for many years. He showed me refurbished sets when it became clear that I was struggling with the prices of new. He was very kind and took time to explain each set to me. I had a very good feeling about the sets and the company ~ especially after having had such a great experience with them some 21 years prior! I looked into a couple of other places the next day and came back to see John the day after that. We closed the deal at an affordable price for me~ a huge relief! He called to be sure I could get delivery the following day, a Saturday, and off I went home. That night I received an automated call to let me know my three hour window of possible delivery which John had explained and was again called the next day when delivery was fifteen minutes away. Bob and Adam were there in fifteen minutes and they were happy guys with wonderful attitudes. Bob is funny and Adam is easy going. They were a great team! They had me set up in no time at all! They still had three more to go and remained jovial workers. I cannot say enough good about this entire experience! I immediately began doing laundry as it had piled up I have done five loads at this point beginning small to acquaint myself with the new pair and ending with blankets and towels and sheets.
