We no longer wish to work with the assigned contractor due to ongoing communication issues and lack of responsiveness. Multiple attempts to contact them by phone and voicemail have gone unanswered, and this has delayed proper evaluation of our appliance. Additionally, it is our understanding that the claim was marked as denied prior to a complete diagnostic report being provided. This was discussed during a phone call with your team at approximately 10:30 AM on May 1, 2026. We are concerned that a determination may have been made without a full and thorough professional assessment. Given these circumstances, we are requesting: Assignment of a new, responsive contractor to evaluate the refrigerator A complete and properly documented diagnosis before any final claim determination The opportunity to provide additional information or a second opinion if necessary We also want to emphasize the urgency of this matter. The refrigerator is currently non-functional, and we have temperature-sensitive items including infant milk and medication that require proper cooling. The delays and lack of communication have created a time-sensitive hardship for our household.     Terrible experience with this company. Communication was awful from start to finish. We were told…read morethrough AHS that parts were being ordered, only to later receive a call directly from Lake Area Appliance saying they wouldn't be fixing the issue at all and that we'd have to find someone else, but didn't even provide a proper diagnosis. Because they also failed to provide the insurance company with a full diagnostic report, this caused more delays and frustration on our end. On top of that, they were extremely difficult to get ahold of. Calls went unanswered and there was no follow-up. Overall, very unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I would not recommend using them.
