I don't know where to begin, There's not enough words to express my happiness for Pro Trace Painting, Henry and his entire family for such high quality and professional service performed in my home. I was a victim of fraud by a fly by night contractor we previously hired to paint my interior and remove popcorn ceiling, we lost thousands of dollars and I gave up hope for a few months until I found the courage to try and find someone honest to finish my project. Out of everyone every new contractor that I got a quote from, Henry and his family stood out to me for the following reasons. 1) I can tell he genuinely cared about my family's loss with the previous scandal, he compelled and apologized on their behalf which was not his fault. 2) They we're not FORCEFUL, many of the guys that came over seemed pushy and oversell. I just want popcorn ceiling room, retextured, paint and that's it. Henry understood that and kept it simple as my request, though later after seeing their professional works I added on more things to be done as my trust in humanity begin to spark again thanks to Pro Trace. 3) Out of 12 bids that we got, Pro Trace was the only one typed up an actual contract breaking down step by step the costs of material and labor and time frame to complete job. What I loved and appreciate even more was that because Henry knew I was scammed before, HE OFFERED TO BEGIN SERVICE AT HIS OWN EXPENSE and then I'll just pay along the way per each completed phase of the project. 4) When I tell you this crew respects your time, I mean it! Pro Trace Painting was on time from from 8am to 5pm or so everyday, if ever they'd might be running late (which was probably one time) Henry would call immediately letting me know. The end of work every day they would clean up throughly their work area, gather tools into one place and leave your house nice and neat. Like I said, there is not enough words to describe the joy of satisfaction from such an honest and reliable crew. I hired them to move onto new project painting my exterior of home and that's done. Now they're asked to renovate my two bathrooms. Their prices are affordable and fair, if I could give 100 star rating I would. I contracted with Tri Star to repair some major issues on two exterior walls. Both have continued…read moreto leak, and Tri Star told me it was a roofing issue. I contracted with a roofer, and when they came to do the work, it turns out the walls were not completed properly: there is no plywood nor wall wrap in the leaking areas (which is itemized on my contract with Tri Star). I contacted Tri Star to come and redo the work, even sent pictures of the problem areas, and called to make sure they received the photos. That was on March 12, and I have not heard back. Additionally, they took almost four times as long as estimated to do the work. And even then, the work was not completed as contracted, and I have now paid Tri Star more than $10000, and my walls still leak, and the work I have paid them to do is being damaged because the work was not done correctly. There are other construction companies in Denton: find one of them.

I expressed my concerns/doubts and decided not to conduct business because of my suspicion of possibly being ripped off. That is when their unbelievable negative attitudes were revealed. The salesperson and the guy I believed to be the owner became totally unprofessional. I was threatened with being signed into a contract and accused of finding another roofing company to conduct insurance fraud.
