Other treatments like massage, facial, manicure and pedicure were also available for extra. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The priority access to hot spring pool goes to hotel guests, but we didn't have any problems booking it during the day. We also enjoyed hot spring pool under the rain; pretty romantic, eh? There's tea and coffee available in the lounge and you can buy food and drinks from the bar to enjoy. Drinks are allowed in the pool area, except no glassware is allowed. You'll be provided with a robe and flip flops (if you forget your slippers), but you have to bring your own swimsuit. There are towels available everywhere, and you can use them. The changing rooms were well-equipped and clean. Shampoo is available in the showers. It was a very calm and relaxing day for us and we decided to plan another getaway soon.

The public areas inside the main building are spacious and comfortable including a cafeteria with a salad bar. The rooms are small with a bed, recliner, desk, sink and mirror. Showers and facilities are shared. There are both single and double rooms, you can choose your preference when you reserve with your group. During the week. The Sisters rent some of the rooms to Canadian NU students so they don't have to do the border crossing every day. If you go for a weekend retreat, no worries, the students are not there on weekends. . The grounds are across from the Niagara River and the Stella Niagara Preserve, which is a great place to kill an hour or two during nice weather. Walking the trails to the river was probably my favorite part of the weekend. The Sisters have a couple of keys to the chapel on the preserve so if you want to go inside (trust me, you WANT to go inside), make sure you check out a key before you head over. Another little gem is the pottery store. It has extremely limited hours, I believe it was open for 2-3 hours for us on Saturday, but it is not to be missed. One of the Sisters makes pottery and sells it at very low prices. I wish I had known ahead of time so I could have brought some cash. Next time. The campus is about ten minutes from Lewiston, is its easy to run into town if there is anything you need

I was going to write a Complex review since this is a Complex, but instead I will keep it simple…read more(stupid), and tell you about this beautiful building near Lewiston and Youngstown (that's NY and NY, not ME and OH). It's my mother's fault that I'm writing this review. We were on our way back from Fort Niagara to Buffalo, and she spotted this gorgeous structure, and insisted that we walk around it and pretend we were in Europe (basically). Some of the popular buildings in WNY are "less than Stella", but this one is spectacular, I'm surprised that I'd never heard of it before. It reminds me of some of the grand old churches on the East Side of Buffalo, but it's way up where you don't expect it. If you've never seen this complex, and you like grand old religious buildings, I recommend scoping it out.

I went on a…read morecharter bus with a group of people and lucked out and got a room on the 20th floor with a small deck overlooking the falls. Incredible view from my room of the Falls and nightly fireworks. The hotel has everything you could ask for: a convenience store, gift shop, Starbucks, multiple restaurants, a spa, a small gym, and both an indoor and outdoor pool. The room was clean and had everything you could ask for. Really, the complaint was the limited TV options, but I probably only spent a few hours in my room, where I wasn't sleeping. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of the attractions, and just minutes from the border crossing. Really couldn't ask for much more.

I'd emphasize the $509+ nightly rate versus the actual experience. The hotel currently promotes…read moreitself as having undergone a $50 million transformation, including renovated guestrooms and a new arrival experience, so it's reasonable to compare what you experienced with what was advertised. Here's a review that is firm but credible: Beautiful View, But Absolutely Not Worth $509+ Per Night We chose the Sheraton Fallsview expecting an upscale, resort-style experience and paid over $509 per night for our room. Unfortunately, the experience did not come close to justifying that price. The location and view of Niagara Falls are wonderful, but a spectacular view alone does not make a hotel a luxury resort. During our stay, only two elevators were operating to service a 22-story hotel, resulting in frustrating waits simply to get to and from our room. For a hotel of this size and at this price point, that is unacceptable. We were also disappointed in the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. The hotel heavily promotes its renovation, but our bathroom certainly did not feel like what you would expect from a recently renovated, upscale property. It felt dated and lacking in the finishes and attention to detail I would expect when paying more than $500 per night. What bothered us most was the disconnect between the way this hotel is marketed and the actual guest experience. At this rate, I expect more than a good location--I expect excellent maintenance, efficient elevators, updated accommodations, quality amenities and a genuine resort-level experience. Niagara Falls itself was spectacular, and the hotel's location is hard to beat. However, the Sheraton Fallsview did not deliver a $509-a-night experience for us. I would gladly pay a premium for a true luxury Fallsview hotel, but based on our stay, I would not choose this property again at these rates.

She was a doll. Our king room was spectacular. (I actually picked this hotel because I thought the wallpaper was very cool). It was nice size room, clean and the bathroom is huge! There was also a nice letter from the GM, Lenny, on the desk and I loved that. Most hotels don't do that - it was such a nice, personal touch. Our mini fridge didn't work and the maintenance gentleman replaced it immediately. The hotel has a quaint little bar and both bartenders, Kevin & Vinny, were very fun to hang with. They both live in a nearby town, Lewiston, and suggested we go there for lunch. What a cute town!! Such a nice area to walk around and many shops to visit. The hotel also serves a great breakfast. You have a choice of hot and cold items. It was just as good as any local restaurant! Overall, our stay was awesome and I would stay here anytime I visited this area again! Thank you Lenny & staff!!

I'm glad this was his first experience, as this is what he has future spas to compare to lol. Check-in was super easy and fast. We were guided to the change rooms. We came on a Thursday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. I mostly had the change rooms to myself. Inside the lounge is dim, with soft music it's perfectly relaxing. The lounge offers a great selection of teas. Lemon ginger is my favourite, which they had. They also have espresso pods. Of course they have some spa water, which was super refreshing. The main thing that surprised me was the selection of snacks they had! I've never been to a spa where they had basically unlimited snacks in the lounge. They had granola, cookies, brownies, biscottis and more. My bf received a 30 min massage, which focused on one area and I had a 60 min massage. My masseuse was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would have appreciated a deeper pressure on my legs and arms but the duration on these areas, was so short (as requested) I barely thought to even let her know I'd would like her to go deeper. I did let her know in the beginning though, that I do like a firm and deep pressure. Overall, she was just ok. The experience was still relaxing and she did loosen my neck and shoulders, which is what I was there for mainly. I so so appreciate that she used a hot towel to remove the oil on my back and the back of my legs. I love when spas do this. But I wished she had also done this after she worked the front of my legs and arms. There was so much oil on these areas, it would have been nice to have something to wipe it off. I did end up using the shower, since the oil really bothered me. The showers are spacious and I like that there's an area inside the shower to keep your belongings. I love the fact that they use loccetaine products. The scent they use is so nice. They also provide mouth wash, q-tips, cotton pads, hair ties, combs, plastic bags, tampons and a hair dryer. Check the drawers for the hair ties, combs and tampons. I wish I had checked these earlier cuz I really needed a hair tie lol. Oh and they also provide robes, sandals and towels. A wonderful experience from start to end. I think it also helped that the spa wasn't too busy that day. I'm excited to come back and try more services. Maybe even the hydrotherapy!

No need to fly off to Napa Valley for wine. Niagara-on-the -Lake has it all...vineyards, wine tasting, beautiful views and again, excellent service.
