We booked a room for Saturday, the location is good, it was busy, the staff is good but things were not the same as it used to be because of covid. When we checked in the front desk lady said there is no microwave and no kettle in the room because of covid. I thought there is no TV too because people use remote control. Then comes parking, if we park in front of the hotel it is $50 and if we park across the road it is 21$. I think the parking was too expensive since there was no breakfast, nothing in the room, they could give a better rate for parking. I would like to make four points about this hotel: 1. Some of my family stayed here when they came to visit me, and by visit me I mean go to Niagara Falls for 4 days straight, ignoring all of my food advice and suggestions to hang out, not even visiting my own house 45 mins away despite me offering a ride both ways, and then spend a couple of hours with me in a place of their choosing (which they didn't even like) right before they left again. However, I hung out with them in their hotel room and wasn't too impressed by the price or the facility, but it also wasn't bad compared to some of what's an offer around here. 2. I found the people on the way in to be friendly, and security to be virtually non-existent which is fine for me but if you're into security then beware of that. NF is a poor city. 3. It's right by the River on the way down to the Falls which is pretty cool. It's about a half hour walk from the Falls, or a 5 minute drive if you have a vroom. 4. I don't actually have a fourth point but if I didn't include one then this wouldn't really match the hotel name now would it. read more

Wrote this email to management and never got a reply. Now its public. I have video of broken TP dispenser and loud dogs barking. Hello, Last night was a pretty poor experience for me. The first room I was assigned had black mold in the tub/shower area, a broken toilet paper dispenser, and a broken sink that immediately backed up. I was going to report that all in the morning, but stomping ensued above me so I was losing sleep anyway. I went to the front desk, and the 2 there were very courteous. They found a second room. The second room had its lights on upon arrival and was full of cigarette smoke. Upon opening the door to the room, I had awoken 2 large dogs in the next room over who began barking until I returned to the front desk. Front desk staff was courteous again and found me a suitable room at last. Unfortunately, they were using radio to communicate with maintenance, and he was right outside my door with the volume incredibly loud. Loud enough for me to hear room numbers reporting issues. I'm not sure what can be done, but thought you should be made aware. read more

We had a pretty good stay here. I received a deal through my SPG membership that included breakfast for a pretty good price. The hotel is clean and the staff are attentive. Check-in was a breeze and we were off to our room in no time. Our room was located on the first floor over looking the parking lot which wouldn't have been my preference but it was late and I'd been shopping all day so I didn't care at this point. The room was small but clean and came with free water, coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable (as they typically are at Sheraton's) and the pillows are great. My husband, however, prefers to sleep on foam pillows and the staff was quick to provide him with a new set. The breakfast that was included in our deal was certainly satisfying and the restaurant has a spectacular view of the river and the bridge over to Grand Island. They also have a full buffet breakfast available until noon. NOON! No more having to rush in the morning to make sure you get to breakfast in time. Overall, a great stay. I would definitely stay here again when doing my cross-boarder shopping. read more

Maybe I just don't expect much from hotels in the Niagara Falls area, but I really enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls. Arriving relative late for my check in at around 11 pm, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were offered a few perks which including a free local craft beer sample at the bar. The room is well appointed. Stable and fast wifi connection. A nice river view, I guess I got an upgrade with my SPG status. Close to tourist area and with ample parking. And of course I got to use my SPG points for redeem for a free night stay too. Pretty good option if you are here for a short stay or overnight in the area. read more

Nightmare Reservation experience!! I called weeks ago and was quoted for a Single King, they took my credit card information. And after my friends made reservations afterwards, I realized they never sent me an email. And after calling, I learned they mispelled my name and never recorded my email information, while waiting for my confirmation, I was hung up on and after calling again, I was sent to a 3rd party in India and had to go through the entire process again, this time being told that I have a double and was asked my rate, which I'm sure is now going to be higher than when I made the reservation weeks ago. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I am going to think twice before making any plans with this hotel chain in the future. Update: Finally got an email, confirmation number is different from what I recieved on the phone, my name is wrong, my address is wrong, number of guests is wrong, considering cancelling altogether and booking elsewhere nearby. read more

My stay at the Four Points far exceeded my expectations. As usual the beds were super comfy, ideal after a long Atlantic crossing. Flying into Buffalo Airport, the hotel was pretty easy to find and could be spotted on your right as you cross the North Grand Island Bridge. The car park is spacious and parking is free. Entering the hotel, check in in on the right hand side where I was greeted with a friendly smile. In my experience the staff couldn't do enough for me which was a pleasant surprise. I stayed in a family room. The only disappointment was the 'car park' view. The 2 room suite was spacious, equipped with a microwave and coffee maker and good size fridge. The a/c was a little noisy but not uncomfortably so. The bathroom was a little small but sparkling clean, bath and shower with good pressure. The cold water here was extremely cold, probably something to do with the icy climate during my stay. The dining room overlooks the Niagara river, which I imagine must look beautiful in the summer. Breakfast was superb value for money at $10 pp. Cereals, cooked sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, all prepared to a good standard. The service also was very good. The location is 15 mins from Niagara Falls in one direction and about the same to the Niagara Falls Fashion Outlet Mall in the other direction. Safe boxes are available at no extra charge at the front desk. Superb fast blazing wifi in room and throughout the hotel. All in all a very good stay, friendly helpful staff and I would certainly return but probably in the summer next time. read more

Staying in Cooperstown, NY with our kids while they play at Dreams Park. We ended up having a few extra days so we decided to drive up to Niagra Falls. Tried to book via the Expedia app, website and phone number but none were working. I then call the hotel, the woman who answered the phones was incredibly rude and short tempered. I explained I couldn't book via Expedia so I was calling them directly, she immediately snapped back (before I could even finish my sentence mind you) that they were not Expedia and couldn't help me. I continued to explain that I was simply calling to see if I could get the same rate as advertised, to which she continued to angrily bring up that they are not Expedia and have no idea what rates they offer, let alone able to match the advertized price. Instead they offered to let me pay $60 more per day for the room plus $10 per day to park there. Considering how horrible the phone staff was and how bad most of these reviews are, it seems like a blessing that this woman was seemingly uninterested in booking a room. Terrible service in general. Hummm I've stay at four points a lot and this is the worst among all. The receptionists (a guy and a girl) on duty both look really out. The guy checked us in with a very weird look on his face. He sounded very impatient for whatever question you asked. I asked him where the breakfast will be served in the morning and he didn't even bother to look at me to answer. And for the girl, I think she might just be too new to her job. We were looking to take a "shuttle" to the niagara falls and she doesn't look like she knew anything. She can only respond "hold on, let me ask" for ALL of my questions. If she's trainee, then there should be some supervisor around and not just putting her on the spot. Very unprofessional. Room was pretty clean, but not so much quite. The room needs better sound proof because there were kids running in and out of the pool yelling... For the breakfast at bella vista, the food was okay.. regular hotel breakfast. The host again, didn't care so much. She only took our breakfast coupons and then walked away. We didn't even get utensils after we got food and sat at our table. Came to Niagara Falls for a weekend trip and chose those hotel because I had Starwood points to use. Location is ideal .. just about 10 minutes from the falls. Also, if you get the right side of the hotel, you get a nice river view. Parking is also convenient . As for the hotel itself, I was super dissapointed. The rooms are outdated and very basic. We had two different rooms. The first night we had a double queen bed and the second a king bed. The first room had no bath gel in the bathroom and the tub looked dirty. The window sill was covered in bugs!! Gross!! (5th floor) The second room actually wasn't that bad and no bugs. (7th floor) Wouldn't stay there again. read more

I only stayed for one night. The room was a king size bed with a view of the river. Views were spectacular! The room was a nice size for one person; had modern touches. One of the best hotels I stayed in. I didn't explore the rest of the hotel so I can't give my opinion on that. One thing I would say is that the walls are a bit thin for my liking. I heard more noise than I cared to hear. Also, it is a few miles from Niagara Falls, not walking distance at least. Although you could walk if you want exercise but there is a bike trail that leads you to the park. All in all I would recommend this hotel. read more

Impressed with this location. Nice staff and clean rooms. We got settled into our room and went down stairs to buy a razor at the gift shop. The lady at the front desk said she can give us free razors instead of us paying for it. She went in her drawer and she had sample razors, we were soo thankful and I wish we had her name. We went to the bar and asked if we can buy beer and take it up to our room they said we can. Everyone was friendly and accommodating , our family appreciates the great staff! read more

**Brutally Honest Review** There were more cons of this hotel than there were pros. We will start at the beginning... Walking into the hotel we thought it looked great, then when we checked into the hotel they told us there is a $10 a day parking fee, even though there website said "you can even park for free" there parking lot had a sign that said $20 a day to park. So we complained and a night clerk said "if it's that big of a deal we will comp you the rest of the nights". When we got to our room it was super small there was no microwave, and there were no outlets next to the bed and all the lights in the room were lamps. The bathroom was nice and big. That night we went to the pool and had fun, we were the only ones in there and the pool is a decent size. The next morning breakfast was bad. The food was not very good, the waffles were super sugary(tasted like a cake donut) and were pre made, the potatoes were not cooked all the way, the eggs had standing water in them. All the food seemed premade. The staff in the breakfast area were super nice and courteous. After breakfast we went out to the back deck and were able to see the great veiw of the river, it was beautiful. There are tons of shops, a Target, grocery store, and an outlet mall within a short drive of the hotel. The casino/spa is less than 10 minutes away. In conclusion I would say that most of the staff is great, it's just the people at the front desk need more training. We will never stay at this hotel again. If your looking for a hotel and are just staying overnight or looking for place only to sleep this might be good for you. read more

Pros: Our Priceline (I think) room wasn't available. They had overbooked. But the front desk was willing to make things right by putting us in a king room with a pullout couch instead of the double room we booked. Breakfast was pretty good. They have a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, French toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. The room was great. We had a nice big tub and standup shower. And we had a kitchenette with running water and a microwave. Cons: The dishes in the breakfast area were FILTHY! I went through the whole stack until I found a decently clean plate I could finish washing. Most of the plates had caked-on food or sauce. They looked like they only clean them with spraying water without taking a look to see if they're getting clean. And the serving staff seemed a bit impatient and pushy, so I was hesitant to share feedback with them directly. I definitely want imagining this, as I saw plenty of folks come in after me and spend a lot of one staring at and flipping through the plates looking for one that was acceptably clean. Also, there is a hot plate above the tub in the bathroom. It was on when we arrived and was unlabeled. So, we spent most of our time there in a hot bathroom (in hot weather) without realizing the ceiling was hot enough to burn you. The front desk didn't know what we were talking about, so their engineering staff had to let us know what it was. They really need to label those switches, as hot plates mounted in the ceiling aren't common in most places. read more

We booked a reservation and upgraded over the phone with a Marriott BonVoy rep who did not apply the rate we are guaranteed as "preferred members." We subsequently called the front desk and spoke with Victoria. She guaranteed our upgrade and charged us for it. When we arrived hours later we were informed that *we had been charged* the higher rate and the *room had not been upgraded* as agreed. When I asked the gentleman at the front desk how that had happened he said that he could not tell me and offered me $10 off a $237+ bill. read more

Do yourself a favor in Niagara Falls and don't stay at the overpriced and dingy hotels in the park area. Drive about five miles and stay here instead. First off, it's significantly less expensive. Probably because you don't get any falls views (it's like 3 miles downstream) but you do get a great river view. Secondly, it's a really nice property. Clean and modern, with plush rooms. Plus we had a river view suite which had a gigantic whirlpool tub and a shower big enough to play volleyball in. They also have a surprisingly good restaurant with a nice patio overlooking the river. I almost never eat at hotel restaurants because I like food to taste good. But the kids were whiny and we were kind of beat from the drive, so we did. They do a decent job at Italian food and chicken wings. Really. The indoor pool is quite nice as well - the kids spent a lot of time there! read more

We happened upon this hotel after searching for hotels with a view of the falls. Let me tell you straight up that all those hotels are way overpriced. Four Points was about $70 a night. We didn't have a full view, but we had a view of the falls from our room on the 11th floor. So anything from there or higher will get you a view. The tour information lady was extremely helpful. We needed a wheelchair and they helped explain where to go to get around the town. We were only in Niagara Falls for one day, so we got the tour and it was well worth it. VIP access to all the sights (behind the falls, ride on Maid of the Mist, trip to the top of Skylon, the flower clock, plus a bunch of other things). The beds are fantastic, the rooms have lots of space and the bathrooms are wonderful. Will stay here again for sure! read more

We stayed there in July for several nights. The location is good and the rooms are nice. There are no safes in the rooms (would be helpful to secure passports) and ice machines are on every other floor and take a long time to work. Staff are helpful and special thanks to the tour consultants. They are friendly and are great resources for anything in the area. Ditto on parking. If you can walk there is parking across the street for $10/night. We first parked in the casino lot. If you get a free PAC card and play the machines that day, you can drive out for free. It's quite a distance from the hotel though. Check your bill before you leave; they add charges for room items you may not use. The lobby and elevators can get very busy. "A Lovely Place but but but but" I was told by someone that south park did an episode on guys like me who like to review properties; as though someone really gives a crap about what we review. I felt so lucky getting a Sheraton hotel with a groupon; I believed it was a win win for me and nothing could go wrong! 2.When I got there I confess I put my haggling skills into motion again hoping an upgrade would be available and I got it for 30.00 extra a night. I'm sure Corine who checked me in was wandering 'now how special does she think she is.' 3.It was so late about 1200 so we went right in to our room and couldn't wait to go to sleep. 4,It was a 3rd floor riverview room and for a suite upgrade my view was completely industrial at best..(We could see all the roofing equipment-horrible) 5.The fingerprints on the doors were over whelming and they were on both sides. 6.Dirt smudges on the floor as well... but I said to myself maybe I'm being too picky. Vents and the air conditioning unit were completely dusty and dirty. (Geez for allergies) 7.I saw the Jacuzzi and jumped right in and so did the shut off knob which came right off.. I notice black crap on the inside of this knob... I restrained myself and decided to discuss these things with management in the morning. 8.In the light of day I notice a brown streak down the side of my white bed skirt....That was the final nail in the coffin... did I mention the hair strands on the floor. For a supposed upscale hotel I was downsized to believing this was one of my worst rooms ever. 9. In the morning Christine in housekeeping eloquently addressed my issues and moved me to a 'better room.' I told her that only a disgruntled worker would leave your room like that right. I also thanked her for removing the upgrade cost. 10. I thought now things would be the dream vacation. 11. We looked in the bathroom and the blinds were open and the river view and bridge were exquisite. 12.We specifically asked what time appetizers were over they told us 11pm and left out for the day. 13.We returned at 10 and were told we could not come in the restaurant for serve at this time but because of the issue of telling us the wrong time Lori went beyond the call of duty and serviced us anyway. Thank you again Lori... she was top dog. 14.Arriving back in the room I closed the blind over the tub and was met by the dirt/dust from hell. 15.Anyway we decided to tell them even this. We stayed 3 days.... We came back later and sorry to say the clean up wasn't any better. We showed the staff this and lots of sorrys but that was it, It remained this way! 16.Maybe I expect to much and honestly----- maybe I do, but you decide. 17.Earlier they had a buffet out and so we came down to eat it, we asked Jamie the time it was over we came and hour earlier and it was over. 18.I spoke with the general manager Ms. Deena and honestly she has a nice personality and also compted our breakfast. 19.We came back later as I told you earlier and found the blind still gray to black and half cleaned..... I didn't feel so spa like. 20.I found out a lot of stuff from other staff members TV's not right size and a lawsuit in process- a new doubletree hotel is being opened by this owner... (at this rate I don't think he can met double tree standards. 21.They don't cater to everyone and make them feel special in there home away from home. A lot of communication is not being carried over top down- and a lot of not checking for and maintaining quality of care. I don't want to leave anything out our phone didn't work in our replacement room and they never replaced it. The hotel was easy to find, just off I-190 on the Niagara River side of the road. It's a few miles from the Falls, but a lot cheaper than staying in what passes for a downtown district. Hotel service was good. The concierge in lobby was nice perk. We used them both days. There was free coffee and breakfast bars in morning, in addition to the expected coffee in the room. My wife was happy with the exercise room. The room was clean but a little tight with two queen beds. And the beds were comfortable. I was surprised at number of easily accessible electric plugs. A lot of places, they seem to be hidden away from the guests. There was free wi-fi covering the entire hotel complex. Restaurants are a little sparse in the area. read more

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were the nicest and cleanest I've seen in a long time. The staff always had a smile on their face. Lenny, one of the restaurant managers was perfect in every way possible. Sara and Shanna were also great. They all really know how to make you feel at home. The food was delicious starting with breakfast. The dinner was some of the finest food I've tasted in a while and to top it off, a nice lounge was on site that made my day. The only compliant I have about the bathroom in my room is that they don't have individual bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It felt a tad like my gym with the dispensers in the bathroom. The conditioner dispenser was leaking too so there was a lob of it in my tub. Despite that, the rest of my experience was good. I found a running trail by the hotel and did a three mile run in the morning before breakfast. We had gold status so had complimentary breakfast, check in drink and upgrade to the 7th floor. Overall the experience was fine. Close enough to Niagara Falls without being in the ghetto ness of that area. I would next time stay on the Canada side. This would have been a 5-star review if it wasn't for the banging doors early in the morning. This hotel has paper-thin walls and the room doors shut by themselves after you open the door and walk out. The problem with this is that they slam loudly, and you can hear slamming doors a lot, particularly in the mornings when people are leaving. Don't even think about sleeping in. We had a great experience at this hotel other than the thin walls. We used a Groupon and got a free bottle of wine and appetizer, vouchers for the Seneca Niagara Casino, and savings cards for the Fashion Outlet Mall nearby. The outlet mall card was pretty useless, but between the nice hotel, winning money at the casino, and free wine and appetizers, we definitely felt we got a good deal. The rooms are nice and clean, the hotel has free wi-fi, and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you are heading to Niagara Falls. If I could give them 0 stars, I would've. Extremely rude customer service at the front desk at night. I came here with my family for my graduation, and we had 3 rooms reserved. We couldn't notify them since we were in Canada for the day that we were checking in late, but they had our credit card on file to charge it if we didn't check in on time. Due to their technical difficulties, the charge declined so they decided to give all 3 of our rooms away. Remember, this was the night before UB's graduation, so there were no more availability anywhere near the University. They did not accommodate us nor cared about 12+ people with no where to sleep that night. I've stayed at majority of Sheratons facilities, but I have NEVER had such a bad experience as this one. None of the other Sheratons ever gave away our rooms for checking in late. Extremely disappointed. Tip: Call if you have a reservation and you can't make it for check in because they will give your rooms away. read more

The bathroom was smaller than other hotels I have been to. Also, the bed although comfortable, creaked whenever I turned and the air conditioner was a bit loud. One of the things that leave an impression on me at hotels are the brand name toiletries and the bathroom/showers. Don't waste your money! Not a fan. Our room had so many problems from the time of check in. The air conditioner o. The floor above is leaking and dripping through our wall. The handle for the bathroom toilet fell off and the jets in the whirlpool tub kept randomly going off in 15 minute intervals in the middle of the night! The manager sent up maintenance up... they put towels along the window to soak up the leak, fixed the toilet and Nadia for the tub... wtf did I pay for you guys? This is unacceptable. Most ratings seem great on this Hotel, however we have not had a good experience. The room was extremely small. Rust on soap holders in tub. After cleaning room they left dirty towels behind, no clean washcloths or coffee replacements. Carpets were gross. Worst of all the walls were so thin you could hear neighbors as if they were in the room with you. Couldn't wait to leave. Plus the phone was broken and could only make calls through speaker phone. The hotel is fine, prices are lower because of the neighborhood (rough looking). It's the kind of neighborhood that you're a little bit worried about leaving your car in overnight. The only problem with the hotel was that they charge a $10 fee for parking in the parking lot, which would be fine if it was up near the falls where parking can be horrendous. So that means The hotel is just gouging people for no reason or they're saying that it's not safe to park in the neighborhood that they built the hotel in. Either way is sending the wrong message to their customers and they should strongly rethink this policy. We ended up parking on the street just to not pay the fee. I am a Starwood Platinum member and I can honestly say that the service at this hotel rivals even the best St. Regis. I travel all the time and it makes a huge difference when offered free water checking in and then go out of their way with room service to accommodate my preferences. I come and stay here once a year and I always look forward to it. One thing to know: it is not in the most foot-traffic accommodating neighborhood-- there are not restaurants to walk out to etc. read more

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the room service was fine as well. The hotel even provided complimentary shaving cream. The location is fine as well, with a short drive to the Falls. The restaurant patio also offers a great view of the river. However, the breakfast buffet is completely mediocre and the to-order breakfasts are absurdly priced. The indoor pool is also very small.
