Wrote this email to management and never got a reply. Now its public. I have video of broken TP dispenser and loud dogs barking. Hello, Last night was a pretty poor experience for me. The first room I was assigned had black mold in the tub/shower area, a broken toilet paper dispenser, and a broken sink that immediately backed up. I was going to report that all in the morning, but stomping ensued above me so I was losing sleep anyway. I went to the front desk, and the 2 there were very courteous. They found a second room. The second room had its lights on upon arrival and was full of cigarette smoke. Upon opening the door to the room, I had awoken 2 large dogs in the next room over who began barking until I returned to the front desk. Front desk staff was courteous again and found me a suitable room at last. Unfortunately, they were using radio to communicate with maintenance, and he was right outside my door with the volume incredibly loud. Loud enough for me to hear room numbers reporting issues. I'm not sure what can be done, but thought you should be made aware.

We had a pretty good stay here. I received a deal through my SPG membership that included breakfast for a pretty good price. The hotel is clean and the staff are attentive. Check-in was a breeze and we were off to our room in no time. Our room was located on the first floor over looking the parking lot which wouldn't have been my preference but it was late and I'd been shopping all day so I didn't care at this point. The room was small but clean and came with free water, coffee and tea. The bed was comfortable (as they typically are at Sheraton's) and the pillows are great. My husband, however, prefers to sleep on foam pillows and the staff was quick to provide him with a new set. The breakfast that was included in our deal was certainly satisfying and the restaurant has a spectacular view of the river and the bridge over to Grand Island. They also have a full buffet breakfast available until noon. NOON! No more having to rush in the morning to make sure you get to breakfast in time. Overall, a great stay. I would definitely stay here again when doing my cross-boarder shopping.

Maybe I just don't expect much from hotels in the Niagara Falls area, but I really enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Niagara Falls. Arriving relative late for my check in at around 11 pm, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were offered a few perks which including a free local craft beer sample at the bar. The room is well appointed. Stable and fast wifi connection. A nice river view, I guess I got an upgrade with my SPG status. Close to tourist area and with ample parking. And of course I got to use my SPG points for redeem for a free night stay too. Pretty good option if you are here for a short stay or overnight in the area.

The stay here at the Four Point Sheraton has been awesome. The staff is professional and polite. The restaurant staff and BARTENDERS are amazing. The hotel was clean and decorated well.

My stay at the Four Points far exceeded my expectations. As usual the beds were super comfy, ideal after a long Atlantic crossing. Flying into Buffalo Airport, the hotel was pretty easy to find and could be spotted on your right as you cross the North Grand Island Bridge. The car park is spacious and parking is free. Entering the hotel, check in in on the right hand side where I was greeted with a friendly smile. In my experience the staff couldn't do enough for me which was a pleasant surprise. I stayed in a family room. The only disappointment was the 'car park' view. The 2 room suite was spacious, equipped with a microwave and coffee maker and good size fridge. The a/c was a little noisy but not uncomfortably so. The bathroom was a little small but sparkling clean, bath and shower with good pressure. The cold water here was extremely cold, probably something to do with the icy climate during my stay. The dining room overlooks the Niagara river, which I imagine must look beautiful in the summer. Breakfast was superb value for money at $10 pp. Cereals, cooked sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, all prepared to a good standard. The service also was very good. The location is 15 mins from Niagara Falls in one direction and about the same to the Niagara Falls Fashion Outlet Mall in the other direction. Safe boxes are available at no extra charge at the front desk. Superb fast blazing wifi in room and throughout the hotel. All in all a very good stay, friendly helpful staff and I would certainly return but probably in the summer next time.

Terrible service in general. Hummm I've stay at four points a lot and this is the worst among all. The receptionists (a guy and a girl) on duty both look really out. The guy checked us in with a very weird look on his face. He sounded very impatient for whatever question you asked. I asked him where the breakfast will be served in the morning and he didn't even bother to look at me to answer. And for the girl, I think she might just be too new to her job. We were looking to take a "shuttle" to the niagara falls and she doesn't look like she knew anything. She can only respond "hold on, let me ask" for ALL of my questions. If she's trainee, then there should be some supervisor around and not just putting her on the spot. Very unprofessional. Room was pretty clean, but not so much quite. The room needs better sound proof because there were kids running in and out of the pool yelling... For the breakfast at bella vista, the food was okay.. regular hotel breakfast. The host again, didn't care so much. She only took our breakfast coupons and then walked away. We didn't even get utensils after we got food and sat at our table. The server never came to ask us if we needed coffee/ water/ or anything else. Feels like we simply didn't exist and they didn't bother to come serve. Hummm...

Our mini fridge didn't work and the maintenance gentleman replaced it immediately. The hotel has a quaint little bar and both bartenders, Kevin & Vinny, were very fun to hang with. They both live in a nearby town, Lewiston, and suggested we go there for lunch. What a cute town!! Such a nice area to walk around and many shops to visit. The hotel also serves a great breakfast. I am a long-time Choice Privileges member and was able to get a great deal for two nights using Points-Plus-Cash, just $68 total out of pocket for both nights! This hotel is located just off of the I-190, behind the movie theater and Home Depot plaza. It seems to be a newer'ish build. One issue with the lobby, for me anyway--IT STINKS. LIKE VANILLA CUPCAKE PERFUME IS PUNCHING YOU IN THE FACE. REPEATEDLY. Most people probably enjoy this aroma, but for someone who is sensitive to fragrance, I got out of the lobby as fast as I could, and was glad I brought my migraine medicine just in case. I would recommend toning down the vanilla smell, some, sure, but this was WAY too much. We had a King standard suite. It was oddly a MASSIVE room! There was TONS of space, so much so they should really add a small table and couple chairs to the room, as it could easily fit it. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. The room also had a fridge and microwave, all clean and in working order. The hotel has a small indoor saltwater heated pool. The pool stays open until 11pm. That was nice as many hotels close up pools too early. We went down late Saturday and had the pool to ourselves for an evening swim. It was nicely warm and pleasantly quiet. One thing that wasn't quiet though--the rest of the hotel. One issue is the walls of our room were too thin. There was a youth hockey team dominating the hotel this weekend. Yes, they were loud, but even so the walls didn't seem to buffer much of anything. And these families could care less about any other guests, as they let hoards of kids rampage up and down the halls all hours of the day and night, and the room's closed door let a lot of noise in that way too. We have kids, I get they are loud, but never in a million years in all of our travels did we or would we ever let them just screaming-storm the halls. AND we even saw some adult men, either dads or coaches, wrestling with kids and banging on the walls in the hallways. Some moments of this? Fine. But hours on end? Very poor parenting IMHO, but I digress. Just a warning that if you stay here they seem to accommodate sports team families, and if they are rowdy, you will hear it. Had it not been for them, and the pungent-vanilla-chemical-fragrance smell in the lobby, our stay would have been entirely enjoyable. But due to the ruckus, I am docking a star for too thin walls and the staff didn't seem to care about the chaos throughout the whole hotel that weekend. But if we get another good deal for a future weekend getaway, I would roll the dice and stay here again.

But be forewarned: there are two Marriott-branded hotels located almost next door to each other another -- the other is directly across the street. I saw one couple confused about their booking. They were at the wrong hotel. It appears the the hotel most people are seeking when they book the "best view" is usually the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa at 6740 Fallsview Boulevard. The nearby Niagara Falls Marriott on the Falls at 6755 Fallsview Boulevard is a separate property. I was very pleased with the Fallsview Hotel. Unlike many hotels that advertise a falls view but have only a partial glimpse, the hotel's location provides a sweeping panorama of the falls. Most rooms seem to have a falls view. Higher-floor rooms offer an almost cinematic perspective, especially during the nightly illumination show and when fireworks are scheduled (nightly at 10 p.m. after May -- those poor gulls and their babies!). The facilities are extensive. The hotel features the recently renovated Burning Springs Spa and Thermal Pools, a fitness center, indoor pool that is sadly less that 5 feet at the deepest point, direct access to the Fallsview tourist district and convenient connections to nearby attractions. But spa access is not included in the stay-- such a disappointment. Generally, the property feels more like a destination than a standard convention hotel, with many public spaces oriented toward the falls. That includes and onsite Starbucks and Mortons steakhouse, plus a gift shop with a massive assortment of items: clothing, hats, bathing suits and goggles (even for the kids), maple syrup treats, medicine and beverages, etc. The biggest surprise for many guests is parking. Valet parking is convenient but expensive, currently around $80 per day, while self-parking is approximately $50-60 per day and located off-site rather than directly beneath the hotel. Valet service may be worthwhile because the self-parking lot requires about a 5-minute walk and the hotel arrival area can become crowded during peak times Overall, the staff was great -- they even sent up a red velvet cake for our anniversary! And the king suite (23rd floor) was sizable and comfortable, with a jet spa in the room looking directly toward the falls. The bed and pillows were also comfy. They also have two seats right in front of the windows with spectacular views. But there were so many bugs -- dozens and dozens gathered on the exterior glass -- after dark, we opted to keep the lights off. Not a concern, though. I would definitely stay here again.

For what this hotel charges, even if you're using points, I expected a much nicer and better maintained property. Instead, the entire hotel felt run down. The lobby had obvious water damage on the ceiling with peeling paint, which was not a great first impression. There were plenty of elevators, but it seemed like half of them were out of service during my stay. The room was no better. The shower curtain looked dirty, the towels did not feel clean, there were chips and scratches all over the furniture, peeling paint around the windows, and cracked bathroom tiles. Everywhere I looked there were signs that basic maintenance had been ignored. Even Morton's Grille was disappointing. For a restaurant that is supposed to be more upscale, it was dim, the chairs were peeling, and it just felt worn out. What made it even more frustrating was seeing the hotels around it. I went into the Hyatt next door and it was beautiful. Even the Marriott across the street, which does not have the same falls view, looked much newer and much better maintained. It made me wonder why this property has been allowed to get into this condition. The view is absolutely amazing, but the hotel itself does not match the price at all. I left feeling like I paid for the view and nothing else. I would not stay here again unless the property gets a major renovation.

Here's a review that is firm but credible: Beautiful View, But Absolutely Not Worth $509+ Per Night We chose the Sheraton Fallsview expecting an upscale, resort-style experience and paid over $509 per night for our room. Unfortunately, the experience did not come close to justifying that price. The location and view of Niagara Falls are wonderful, but a spectacular view alone does not make a hotel a luxury resort. During our stay, only two elevators were operating to service a 22-story hotel, resulting in frustrating waits simply to get to and from our room. For a hotel of this size and at this price point, that is unacceptable. We were also disappointed in the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. The hotel heavily promotes its renovation, but our bathroom certainly did not feel like what you would expect from a recently renovated, upscale property. It felt dated and lacking in the finishes and attention to detail I would expect when paying more than $500 per night. What bothered us most was the disconnect between the way this hotel is marketed and the actual guest experience. At this rate, I expect more than a good location--I expect excellent maintenance, efficient elevators, updated accommodations, quality amenities and a genuine resort-level experience. Niagara Falls itself was spectacular, and the hotel's location is hard to beat. However, the Sheraton Fallsview did not deliver a $509-a-night experience for us. I would gladly pay a premium for a true luxury Fallsview hotel, but based on our stay, I would not choose this property again at these rates.
