Was referred by my aunt to try this dental place out. Long history short, I have bad anxiety when it comes to the dentist due to having a bad experience when I was younger and have always had it since. Anywho, tried this place out and entire staff is very friendly and patient! They make sure your needs are met and make sure you are comfortable and will constantly ask you if you're ok or in pain. They try to ease any anxiety you may have. The ladies in the front, Grace and Bianca will go above and beyond to make sure everything is explained thoroughly with your insurance and treatment plan as well. I am in awe of this dentist. This is my opinion and my experience. They have my daughter top tier care. I needed to see a dentist and it was an emergency matter with no hesitation I spoke with Grace and she gave me an appointment within the hour. Grace was pleasant and patient, very informative about all services. The xray tech Shirley was so nice and also patient with my daughter who has severe anxiety when it comes to doc/dentist and needles. Dr. Nguyen was ever so kind and extremely patient and encouraging as well as Shannon who talked my daughter through breathing and calm voice. Worst dental hygienist ever. She spent no more than 2 minutes on my son's teeth cleaning. Despite the dentist saying he had tartar build up, she did no scaling, no flossing, only a polishing. Then, she had the nerve to refuse to assist with his sealants or clean my daughter's teeth since I complained about it. So the dentist cleaned my daughter's teeth himself. The dentist was great, but the hygienist didn't deserve a penny of my insurance money and needs to be let go asap. All front office staff were kind and welcoming, but I won't be returning unless the hygienist is replaced. read more

The words to describe this office are despicable and money hungry. NEVER go to Ava dental. I have been their patient. For just over a year and this office has done nothing but ruined my teeth. Besides my teeth hurting like crazy after every procedure for months and months. I had a root canal done on my upper right tooth with the manager rosy. She told me she sent pre authorization to my insurance to cover the porcelain tooth. A month passes and I keep calling her every week to see if it's been approved. She tells me not yet. Next week I call and she's gone! She just up and quit and my paper work got lost in the bunch. I told Erica to send my pre authorization. She says she has. A month passed and it still wasn't approved!!! I called insurance myself and finally they tell me THEY NEVER EVEN KNEW ABOJT THE TOOTH!!!! I called Erica very angry and she was kind enough to be more thorough. It wasn't her fault she was new so it's understandable. She is the only good decent employee here to me at least. But my insurance expired and a few months later my tooth breaks ! I come in and I'm sitting here, no insurance, paid 19$ and this new young Hispanic doctor named dr Wade tells me he wants me to pay 1200$ for a new back to the tooth, tries scaring me into buying it. Or he can fill it . I said I can't afford the procedure right now so just fill it. He then just shuts me out completely and says he won't fill my tooth anymore. I asked why and he said he doesn't feel comfortable. I wait an hour and he wanted to go to lunch so he said to wait. So in total for this specific tooth. This office is despicable, money hungry. I went to an office just up the street called Lake View dental and they extracted a tooth for free. Overall I am so disappointed that out of every dentistry I came here. Please save yourself the money. Joana the employee was extremely rude and irritated with me for being irritated with the office. And insisted I was lying. This office and staff aren't consistent. They are always changing management, always changing staff. So your records get lost here. Trust a stranger save your money. I will never be one to exaggerate circumstances or speak bad about a business but this was such a bad experience for me. read more

My husband and I were looking for a Dental Group that would not break the bank and close to our home. I went to a few dental groups in Lake Elsinore to get estimates on dental treatment that I needed. All of their cost of treatment were high and we have two dental insurances. After reading all of Aava Dental's 5 star reviews, we decided to make an appointment. Making the appointments were easy and their location was close to our home. Both my husband and I can honestly say the entire staff, especially Dr. Cheng and Yvette exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a new dentist, look no further. The staff at Aava Dental were friendly the second you walk into their door. My husband is not easily impressed, he was nicely surprised and likes Dr. Cheng. I was feeling a little anxious and I was offered a Paraffin hand wax treatment. Dr. Cheng was very thorough with his examination and offered options for my treatment. Dr. Cheng was very accommodating in scheduling my treatments. Even though I brought in my CT scan and x-rays, they wanted to take another set. Surprised, no charge... We are very pleased with Aava Dental in Lake Elsinore and plan on seeking their help with of our dental treatment needs. read more

I don't even know where to start EXCEPT that if you are looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, friendly and the entire staff is welcoming and pleasant and just so helpful look no further. My husband was being treated at another dental place and spent a lot of out of pocket cost and was still in not OK. Within weeks he developed severe pain, couldn't chew on both sides and was extremely sensitive. Last night was horrible so I looked for a different dentist and came across Aava Dental. From the minute I called in to ensure they accepted our insurance and were within network Grace was very pleasant over the phone and extremely helpful. I knew immediately this place was the right place. I looked up their reviews and it just felt right . She was able to schedule my husband to be seen today and everything was just fabulous. Great customer service all around. Dr was very informative and explained everything very well. Turns out he needed 4 root canals!!!!! Root canal pain is out of this world and this entire time he's been suffering with this pain! The staff was very helpful in explaining the out of pocket cost and also provided us with the different companies they work with for credit besides care credit. Within minutes he was approved and all the work got done. He left with his prescription in hand and although a bit numb and sore he was very thankful and relieved he received the help he needed. We are so thankful to the entire Staff for all the support and for being so wonderful. You now have a long term patient for good! I am not a big fan on going to the dentist and avoid it as much as I can. I recently changed my insurance and realized it was time to get a deep cleaning and probably fill any small cavities I might have had. I found AAVA Dental through my dental provider list on my insurance. I am glad I went here. First of all I was able to obtain a dental appointment right away and at a convenient time where I could utilize my lunch break to go see the dentist. Secondly, they had very friendly and gentle staff that made the experience much more relaxing. The X-Rays were quick and painless. Also, they provided me with a paraffin hand wax treatment for free to assist in relaxing their patients. I thought that was a neat idea. Overall, I needed a deep cleaning only on my bottom teeth and a regular cleaning. Dr. Safari (I think that is how you spell it) was awesome and very knowledgeable. She even showed me the pictures of where I needed a deep cleaning and cavity fillings. I came back on a separate day for the fillings and it was the quickest most painless experience I've had in a really long time. The last dentist somewhere else poked me with anesthesia so many times that I had sores on my gums for weeks. The only downside is that they are only open Mon & Wed during the week.
