After dealing with frustrating cancellations and merger changes at Posh Dental, as well as dentists that generally scared me and didn't seem like they cared about me such as at Western Dental, I'm very happy to have found a new home at Temecula Valley Dentistry. Everyone I've interacted with is friendly, helpful, caring, and amazing at their job. I had to get a broken tooth extracted, and I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Dr Rik also did some immediate due diligence for me with an oral surgeon in the area regarding some procedures they had wanted me to get done, and I really appreciate him reaching out for me and taking the time to look into that. Compared to every dentist I've ever seen, I'd categorize that as definitely going above and beyond. Everything I've gotten done or have a question on is explained thoroughly without confusion. My girlfriend has sensory issues along with being nervous about dentists, but the 3 times we have been here so far have been seriously the best experience! Everyone is so kind and patient and understanding of her needs, they thoroughly explain everything they are doing before they do it, so she can anticipate what will happen next, and they try to make her laugh and joke around to put her at ease. My boyfriend and I both had a great first appointment here. Dr. Rick was very kind and understood our fear. My boyfriend had to have a back molar pulled and he was extremely nervous. I was happy to get a clean bill of health. No cavities. Now we are on our way for deep cleanings. I already know we will be well taken care of. We are hoping Dr Rick is there today. After being seen at a few other Dentist in the IE area my daughter ended up having to look for a new dentist because the ones that accepted DentiCal out in our area & Thankfully she found Dr Rick at Temecula Valley Dentistry! I just can't believe that they actually take DentiCal and doesn't have a 5 hour wait like all of the other Dentists in the area have!! I can't believe how nice it is to not have too wait for hour's just to get my dental work done! That's Big!! Considering I'm disabled and can't sit or stand for long! At the front desk is Erlinda. She does all of the scheduling and setting up any procedures. Then there's Eva who did my impressions. She's actually blew my mind on how she accounted for my smile in that impression! BEWARE, the current dentist here is a scammer. He will blatantly commit insurance fraud & tell lie after lie to your face. I have never been BSed by a dentist like this guy in my life! 1800dentist got this guy Dr Riku Mukherjee on the phone with me. First. the Dentist office (Temecula)isnt even close to where I live . This Dentist right off the bat told me a bald faced lie about my insurance coverage when he first spoke with me on the phone. Red Flags went up. I know for a fact what he told me was a lie I just said, " Oh really" and hung up. CAUTION! CAUTION! Words of advice.... CHECK to make sure your insurance company is being billed for work that has actually been done. Charged my insurance company for multiple tooth extractions, when only one tooth was extracted and for 15+ fillings, but really only removed silver fillings and replaced with composite and didn't fill the two teeth that actually needed to be filled. I went here last January because I had an emergency. The dentist was pushy for procedures that were not a necessity at the time, nor are they a problem now. I got the root canal they suggested and the crown, that he installed, didn't even make it 6 months. I keep getting texts that I am due for a check up and have tried to unsubscribe and still get them. This place is amazing. I am a person who gets anxiety over all sorts of situations, especially dentistry. However, the people at this place were awesome and kept me cool as a cucumber. Ever since I was little and had a bad experience at the dentist (I'm talking 6) I steered clear of the dentist as much as possible and even if I could work up the nerve just to get X rays, I never went back for the real work. I needed about 12 fillings, two teeth pulled, and a deep cleaning. At my first appointment the dental assistant who did my x rays was so nice, and let the dr know I was nervous (she could just tell by how hard I was trembling) and both spoke to me so kindly and informatively. The doctor got me a two time prescription for some anti anxiety meds, and although I was still a little scared I was able to sit through all of my dental work and finally, after 3-4 years of pain, got my teeth completely finished. I ate my first caramel apple in years the other day and almost cried, I was so ashamed at how bad my mouth had gotten but the dr assured me it was alright and it was good that I was doing it now. I've never waited more than a minute to be seen, and always get reminders of my appointments that are so very helpful especially with how forgetful I am. Dr Rick saved my smile and I couldn't be more grateful for him and the other staff at this practice. 10/10. read more
