I live in Wildomar Senior Assisted Living Facility in Wildomar California and this is the dentist they took me to . The exam went well and they accept medi cal which is what I needed . But they wanted a doctors clearance and I have been trying to get one. But recently I had a situation where one of the teeth that I need removed started hurting badly and I contacted them via email. They said they understood and didn't want me in pain and would take me in on an emergency, but I still needed a doctor's clearance. If I have an emergency situation, then why do I have to wait for a doctor's clearance, my tooth is now hurting worse than before and I can't get any help from this dentist to get some relief from the pain. And I can't keep taking pain meds for this tooth. So without a doctor's clearance, it doesn't matter if you have an emergency situation with your teeth at this dentist! I thought that doctor's if any kind are supposed to care about people, well it doesn't appear that this dentist care about anyone, especially in an emergency! Even though they appear to be great dentist, I don't recommend going there, cause when you really need help, you could end up like me, in pain without any real care in the world by this dentist, so find another dentist that cares! read more

HORRIBLE, LIARS, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND I BELIEVE BUMP WHITES AND GIVE THEIR APPOINTMENTS TO HISPANICS. Six months ago they tried bumping me out of my cleaning appointment for a Hispanic. I complained and complained and then they did my cleaning after I waited for a while. Today I had an 8am appointment. I got there on time, actually early as always. Emily at the front desk told me that I'm not on the schedule and that my appointment isn't until July 1. I kept telling her that appointment is for 6/8/26 at 8am. She kept telling me I'm wrong. OH, BTW, I HAVE THE APPOINTMENT CARD THAT THEY FILLED OUT THAT STATES 6/8/26 8am. Emily won't apologize and Sarah, the manager won't return my calls and won't respond to my emails. The office is trashy. It's like an assembly line and the dentists I've seen don't seem to be good at their job, but I started going there because they were the only place I could find that had appointments available with short notice. That is a huge red flag, but I needed an appointment quickly so I wouldn't have to commute to my old dentist in a different county. I was already planning on looking for a new dentist when I have time. Now I have to asap. Even though Emily and Sarah both know that my appointment was for this morning, one of them put in their computer notes that I made the mistake and that my appointment is on 7/1. I found this out when I filed a complaint with EJ Dental's home office. The home office found that I am correct and that someone there changed the date in their computers. I don't know who is putting the false information in the computer. I have my suspicions, but don't know for sure who. I think their office should be sued and shut down for discrimination and shady business practices. read more

Horrible experience. Came in with my husband for his second appointment to start part of the treatment plan that was given on the first appointment. Appointment was for 3:30pm, got there at 3:35pm and after waiting 45min I had to go ask how much longer we had to wait. Front desk girl stated they were behind and that all rooms were full. We told her we needed to be somewhere else at 5:30pm and she proceeded to tell us that we would then have to reschedule. My husband had to leave work early to make it to this appointment to just have waisted our time, but then they have the audacity to charge a fee when we don't make it to an appointment. What about when they mess up? If they already knew they were running behind why not call us ahead of time to let us know and then we decide whether we go or not. Had an appt schedule at 9:30am and the front office made it seem like I took 30minutes to complete my paperwork when in two minutes I finished took it to the front office staff, waited patiently until it was 9:45am they called other patients but skipped me and it was 10:10 when I asked again they were about to call more patients I decided to leave If your over booked don't schedule patients. The receptionists are extremely knowledgeable and effective communicators and show integrity. The doctors, hygienists, and assistants show a sense of urgency and commitment for a professional job. There are some nice staff there but the manager that makes the appointment is unprofessional. They don't really keep tracks of the payments and blames it on the other person. It not only has happened to me but I have seen it with other people. There were so many times that they overbooked and made people waiting many hours. I just think it's unfair that the manager laughed at my mom for being in pain. They didn't even apologized. I didn't mind being in pain when they did my root canal but this place crossed the line on making my mother cry not only physically but mentally. My wife and I came to EJ Dental for a normal check up and cleaning. Long story short they ended up charging us for a deep cleaning that needed a specialist to come in. The cleaning we both received was nothing different then a normal cleaning. They also told my wife she needed thousands of dollars of work that was completely not true after a trusted second opinion. Ok let's be real, the dentist is not anyone's favorite place, but the staff at EJ Dental are beyond amazing. They take the time to make you feel extremely comfortable (or as comfortable as you can be in a dentist chair), they are friendly, and really try to work with you financially. Rosa and Daisy will greet you with a smile and treat you with the kindness and compassion that a best friend would. Josh was my dental assistant in the back and he was calm and comforting, which is super important for someone with as much anxiety as me! My Dentist was kind and gentle as well, and she listened when I was uncomfortable. Plus they play good music, none of that elevator music here! Their staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. I only write upstanding reviews,except this was exceptionally appalling. I went in for typical visit, X-rays and cleaning. The dentist said I had great teeth and no cavities. (Peace of mind since I haven't been to a dentist in 5 years. I specifically did not advise them of that though). They "diagnosed" me and said I HAD to have a "deep cleaning" (I found out from a dentist friend of mine that there is no such thing as a deep cleaning or semi deep, etc. Its just a sham to charge more money.) I asked to have routine cleaning (they called it an "adult cleaning"). I went back and forth with the consultant, Melanie Ornales. She said the dentist would not do a routine cleaning on me because I was already diagnosed. I requested to speak to the dentist and was denied the opportunity. Melanie said there was nothing she could do other then the deep cleaning. ($160 unnecessarily) I was refused a cleaning... absolutely wild that a dentist office refused to do a cleaning. I offered to sign a consent waiver, if they wanted, that I was knowingly refusing their deep cleaning and opting for the basic. They said they had a policy that would not allow them to accommodate this request. Conveniently, They would not show me this policy. There's more...they did the same thing to my wife except they added more up charges. They wanted to remove her 4 fillings (which are all expensive white feelings) and refill them. Then do the deep cleaning. They refused to provide her with an adult cleaning also. Her quote was ($1060). They said they needed to do the procedure immediately. I understand dentistry isn't cheap and I don't want to claim to be an expert here but EJ dental just refused to explain why I couldn't just have a basic cleaning. They tried to upsell me, ok, all salespeople do that. What really CAUTIONED me, is that EJ Dental was about the drill out my wife's perfectly good fillings, make a larger holes and then refill them for no reason. This is report to Better Business Bureau worthy. I am going to take my family to a different dentist. read more

EJ Dental is a joke . I went here because I cracked 1 of my back teeth. They wanted to sell me a implant that cost close to $7000 . I didn't feel comfortable getting any work done at this location due to the fact that the staff does most of the work here . The actually dentist is only there twice a week and always shows up late or your appointment you make is never at that time . You will be waiting 20 mins + in lobby than they bring you back to a dental chair and you wait an additional 30 minutes plus . I had to get up and leave a couple times because my time is important too so I'd rather you schedule me when I will be seen by Denist . Erica is the office manager and she comes to you with this list of prices that are so inflated . For example I fitted for a partial denture and they charged me $895 and wouldn't give me any information about the company except a name so I look for that name and I find a completely different company who made this partial and it cost $399 so I was charged DOUBLE. They said the dentist is the only one who can fit it for you but the dentist allowed some young man to do it which is was filed down to low not matching my teeth . I call to make an appt and they put me off 6 weeks . But the week before my appointment they send a letter saying they no longer want to serve me . Wow! They turned their back on me . So I requested my money back for this item and I told them I'm going to report this to the California Dentist Board . read more

Anyone who cares about their dental health should avoid this dentist office. I experienced poor dental work, which even the owner of this dental office acknowledged, but no resolution was offered for the issues caused by their dentist other than going under the same bad hands that did bad work on 100% of the teeth he worked on. After multiple attempts to follow up, I personally visited the office to ask why there had been no response, only to be asked to leave. While the staff may initially seem nice and accommodating, once you undergo treatment, you're likely to face substandard workmanship and pain beyond what's normal. In my case, they botched two fillings and two crowns. On top of that, the office coordinator failed to submit a simple authorization request for gum treatment, which their orthodontist recommended back in July. I check with my insurance a month later no request was sent, now it's October and the insurance company still hadn't received it, despite the dental office falsely claiming it had been sent. read more

I am convinced this business is a money laundering organization. Four visits and no work done. I came in for a root canal after the initial x ray visit. After numbing my mouth and making me wait an hour I was told the dentist had been in a car accident so I could leave. Second try coming in for back root canal, dentist said I have to go to another dentist, its too difficult a job for her, but after that she can perform the root canal in front. Root canal in front starting hurting, as it had been in my mouth longer than back root canal. I came in for front mouth root canal and this idiot now said she never told me she could do the front root canal. All they wanted to do with me was a cleaning, FOR $1200!!!! I had attempted a couple of dentists before I found EJ and they were horrible experiences so I was terrified to try yet again to complete my dental work. I have extremely high anxiety with dental work and everyone that worked on be was beyond kind, compassionate and accommodating. From communication at the front desk, the dental hygienist, the office girls to the actual dentist herself I was more than happy with the care I received. I was a patient of EJ Dental. Five weeks ago I went to them for a extraction for a tooth that was broke in half. They let me know that they would have to get approval from the insurance company for the extraction, teeth cleaning, root canal, and would get back to me. They did price out to me all the different items that would not be covered. Five weeks past and I am called to only find out that my extraction was approved the day that I showed up and they did not want to do the extraction and looked to see how they could get more money from the insurance. One day before the appointment I am called and asked if would want the bone graft. I said no and went to my appointment the next day with the intention that my tooth would be extracted. Upon my arrival no attendant was at front desk and sometime later I was informed that they would not do the extraction unless I paid the $500.00 for the bone graft. Upon getting upset and trying to explain to the front desk attendant, office manager and Doctor. They gave me a referral to a oral surgeon so I can start the approval process all over again and extend my painful tooth pain. EJ Dental is about taking folks for as much as they can. What I would have respected is honesty , integrity, and a simple explanation such as your insurance does not allow us to make what we need or we do not except your insurance. Instead what I got were games, deceitful dealing, and dishonesty. My suggestion go to a more reputable Dental company such as Pacific Dental company or others. read more

So, I'm 22 years old. Back story is I got pregnant early and didn't have the money for dental insurance.. when I showed up to this dentist office with all messed up teeth they were nothing short of amazing. They've worked with me on treatment plans and are most concerned about my being okay. I've been afraid of the dentist because of past experience but Dr. Rivera is just so awesome. Not only does my 4 year old wish for his attendance at her upcoming birthday party, he is literally the only dentist I trust. No shots hurt, i am always comfortable and he is so thorough making sure everything is perfect. I work right next to a dentist 5 out of 7 days and I choose to drive 25 minutes just to see him. Also ,like a lot of us out here- I get a tad of anxiety so I was hoping for a little compassion and lets not forget that we are hoping to be treated like people in that chair and not made to feel like a car a mechanic is working on - So with this being said -From the moment I picked up the phone to make my appointment at EJ Family Dental until I was waving goodbye I had found everything I was looking for - the ladies at the front desk I believe to be Bri and Mayra were so kind and informative and immediately made me feel welcome along with the office manager Mariam. And when it was my turn to be seen on to The RDA's Yecenia and Zu- who was so friendly and down to earth and answered my many questions putting me at ease . My next visit was from the hygienist Karina - she was also so friendly and informative. again, answering my many questions And putting my mind at ease. she was like chatting with a friend and never making me feel rushed . Then I had the pleasure of being examined by the Dr. Sylvia who immediately knew all my needs and before I knew it I already had a dental plan laid out .
