Great service! I called for a non-emergency reason.....my doorknob was really loose. I called on my vacation, thinking that he would probably come in a day or two at the earliest. Had a sticky front door entry door handleset. Called AB Lock and Key. Within a day, Al came out to evaluate and determined that lock was still in good shape, just needed lubricating. Fast service and very reasonable. Happy that this saved me the expense of changing the entire door's knob and handleset, which would have cost a whole lot more. read more

Someone tried to break into my car in the Sam's Club Pearl City parking lot last month. Fortunately, they didn't get in but I was left with a damaged lock--another unwanted expense. I needed to get the lock fixed because I wasn't about to go driving around with the lock ajar for everyone to see. So I first called my go-to service advisor at the dealership and he gave me a name of a company, but he didn't sound confident so decided to check out Yelp! for a locksmith ASAP. AB Lock & Key came up and gave Al a call right away. I told him about the damage and said he could come by my home later the day to take a look at it and hopefully repair it. He also gave me two quotes based on the severity of the repair and I was praying that it wasn't too damaged that he didn't have to replace the entire lock. Al called and came to my place. I showed him the door and immediately got to work. He had to take the door apart to find out what exactly needed to be repaired. I left him to take care of it and let me know if he needed anything. I think the entire job took less than two hours and thankfully it was too bad that he could just fix the key plate. Resonably priced, great and friendly service. My keys and driver's licence were stolen from a gym locker in Mililani. So wanted to get house and car locks changed as quickly as possible. I called Monday morning and Al was there Monday afternoon.
