Karen was my guardian angel and saved me when I was in a pickle. I had an emergency that our renter was locked inside the rental. You see the people were super hysterical and wanting someone to blame and wanting resolution immediately which was not reasonable. I found 24 hr lockout through a Yelp service request. I submitted my request for help with my smart lock on the front door. It had been beeping continuously so I had to take a battery out to make sure it stopped making noise. I put this in the details of my service request that went out to multiple businesses on Yelp and many other businesses were not that helpful with their responses to change the batteries out. Karen was great and offered to have a phone chat so we talked on the phone about the problem and I sent a picture of the current state of the lock. She said it looked quite weathered and could come that day or tomorrow if it's not urgent. We picked the next day and I went to Home Depot to get the lock that I wanted. Karen was super nice when she arrived and was very patient as I had opened the box already and tried putting things together myself. She did explain how the lock mechanism worked and the install did need some extra drilling in the door since it wasn't quite the same size as our old lock. Her pricing was fair and a little lower than some of the other quotes I received. I would go with 24 hr lockout over other businesses. read more

You know that sinking feeling when you've realized that you did something awful like locking yourself out of a room, home or car? Yep, I experienced just that recently. I shut my room door behind me, thinking I had my bag in my hand, which contained my phone, car keys, and the key to my room. As I stepped out the house and looked down to lock the front door, I realized I had the wrong bag! Panic set in. Then I frantically ran around the house searching high and low in hopes of finding a spare key, to no avail. After praying to God for help, sanity returned and helped me calm down. Searched in Yelp for a locksmith. Yes, one in my neck of the woods! I called the number and Karen answered right away. She was on another job but was finishing up so she said she'd call back in 5. If I ever have to contact a locksmith, my go to person going forward will definitely be Karen. I contacted her right after someone broke into my house. I was in panic and wanted to put a lock everywhere in my house. Karen was very patient, knowledgeable, and helped me decide which lock will work with my needs. She is very knowledgeable so often times, I didn't understand what she was referring to but in such case, she sent me photos to clarify, which made the discussion much more productive. When I was speaking with Karen, I was also in the process of installing new security system. I didn't realize that the new security package came with some locks, and I ended up not getting Karen's help even though she had put in so much time to help me decide on the locks and even purchasing them. It was completely my fault for not checking the details with the security company. When I explained the situation to Karen, she was understanding and didn't give me a bad experience. She had every right to do that for my cancellation. I was already dealing with so much stress from the break in and if she gave me bad attitude, I probably would not have been able to take it. Her understanding and empathy of my situation was highly appreciated. So even though I didn't get to fully work with Karen for the installation, her professionalism and expertise has been very impressive and will be referring Karen to everyone for locksmith needs.
