Unfortunately, my first experience wasn't the best. When I arrived for my 5:15 p.m. appointment, no one greeted me for a while. When someone finally did, she was eating, which I understand since it was around dinnertime and I was likely the last appointment of the day. However, the interaction felt rushed and I got the impression that I was more of an inconvenience than a patient. I had already completed my paperwork online but I still felt hurried while going through the iPad checkin. Throughout the appt, I tried to be friendly and respectful, but I didn't feel that same level of courtesy in return. The doctor also made several comments about how I put my contacts in without using a mirror, saying he couldn't believe I did it that way and that it was "wrong." It felt like an odd thing to focus on and came across as more judgmental than educational. Overall, I left feeling a little uncomfortable and not particularly welcomed. I was greeted when I walked thru the door. My experience went well. I bought my glasses in to find a frame. The reason was due to my arm on the glasses being cracked. Due to them needing to match a frame to my lenses or order the frame I have; I was asked to leave my glasses. The lady told me she would call me the next day to see what we can do. I for admitted to the hospital so I didn't receive a call and I waited until I was discharged to follow up. I went to get my glasses and they could not find them. They told me that they will look for them and call me. Mrs. Victoria called me and let me know that they couldn't find them. So as a courtesy for misplacement they were gonna replace my glasses for free with everything I had on them... I was very pleased with the handling of the outcome. I will definitely be back. Do not schedule a virtual appointment here! I thought it would be a quick appointment but I was wrong. After waiting One Hour past my scheduled appointment time, still no virtual assistant or doctor. The lady that was assisting me with in the office was nice and apologized but said it is like this sometimes. No actual scheduled appointments with virtual doctors- they just pick up when they are available. A true waste of time. I left and will never attempt that again! Really disappointed. read more

Dr. Pierre was SO kind and supportive of myself, and especially our military and veteran community (which I am a part of). He emphasized it multiple times and was genuine in his expression of it. I felt so cherished as a person and Veteran. Additionally, the first person I saw (I feel bad that I don't know her name) for intake and eye photos was extremely kind and very fun to work with. Save yourself the heartache and find someplace else to go. Cancelled appointments twice due to no virtual Dr available and then equipment issues. Then we give them our insurance and they claimed it could not be found. That was after we showed up for our appointment, provided them our insurance card, filled out all the paperwork then told about the insurance issue. There resolve was pay out of pocket. We will find someplace else. Staff was not very friendly. Sucks that they are conveniently located but overall terrible business. read more

I should not have to lift my glasses all the way upfor reading (left). I cannot read or see close objects while wearing it normally (right). Other than having reading issue, seeing things at distance is good. Not sure if it could be redone the lenses without costing extra$. read more

Dr Pierre was so kind and informative on my entire exam. The process was so streamlined- it took maybe a half hour for the entire thing. He was very objective about my need for glasses and didn't pressure me into anything, and the person selling me glasses was exactly the same and didn't make me feel bad that I wanted to order some Online instead. They take Tricare- BUT Tricare doesn't cover the glasses themselves just the exam. I would recommend this place to family. read more

This place is by far the worst place iI have ever been checked for contacts . It's $109 and I paid my dues the day of my checkup , but I had to wait two whole months to get my trials ? This branch particularly is the worst. I hate coming here. The services are so slow and it took almost two months for me to get my prescription because they " lost" my order in their files. Not a single time was I helped or checked up on between those two months. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I dread coming here. Two months of waiting for something that should take at least a week . This place is a joke. The receptionist are all kinda of snobby and rude. Like if you're going to make faces when taking calls make sure there's not guest in front of you. Some of y'all are too high and mighty. Can't even blame lack of organization on COVID. Nice eye care place and they weren't pushy at all. Doctor was very kind. My eye was watering quite a bit when I was there so the doctor looked at it and said it was most likely a blocked tear duct. I did her suggestion to remedy it and it worked. I will go back the next time I need my eyes tested. read more

I honestly was nervous coming to this place. Looking at their reviews i was thinking it twice to come here. But one of my good friend told me she had a very good experience. So why not give them a try. Let's talk about customer service. If there's was a 10star i would've given it to them. As soon i came in, i was greeted immediately. The lady that helped me at the front desk (sorry i cant remember your name) was super polite very sweet and best of all very professional. I was having trouble with my vision insurance and she went her way out to call them and find out what was going on. I really appreciate that. All you ladies were very kind and helpful. OMG Shiela was super nice, every question i had she would answer them. Explained everything step by step. Dr ? - He was so helpful he explained every step of the way while he was checking my vision. The guy that helped me picked my glasses was super helpful as well. I honestly took my time choosing glasses and trying them on. I was undecided between two glasses and he was so patient with me and did not rush me at all and that's a huge plus for me. Overall, Everyone in there was sweet and very professional. I woke up to a strobe like affect in my eyes. I had strambisus eye surgery last November so I was concerned that maybe something was torn as a result. They got me in same day and took photos of the back of my eye. Everything was ok. I have used Abba since we moved down here in 2018. I don't know why people might write a negative review. They are as good as any eye doctor I have seen in Denver. They are thorough in their examinations. The people who work there are super nice. Eyeglass prices are very competitive. My husband woke to blindness in his left eye, I immediately called Abba and they had me bring my husband in. Dr. Scott Obervreckling saw my husband and diagnosed detached retina and immediately he arranged for us to be seen by Pinnacle Eye Surgeon Dr. Williams, who preformed Reattachment surgery on my husbands retina. We are now waiting 3 weeks for the retina to complete its attachment, but we wanted everyone to know that Abba's quick action for my husband probably saved his eyesight. I was determined to buy a pair of glasses, but with the customer service I received, I could not bring myself to giving them my money. When I walked in, I got looked at like I was not wanted there. No one said anything to me at all. A guy and a girl were just hanging out behind the counter when I was standing at the counter waiting for them to acknowledge me, it took about 2 minutes. I asked them if they could somehow get ahold of my prescription, and she told me I had to do it, I asked how and she said fax. Long story short my prescription is expired, and they didn't even ask me if I wanted to schedule an appointment for an eye exam! Not happy, first off I went to get new frames because my frames broke. Only got the frames a year ago but of course they don't have that brand anymore. While I was there my husband made an appointment to be seen. He also wanted to use his VA disability to purchase or help get glasses. After he made his appointment the young woman from reception desk came over to me and said, it wasn't worth it to use the VA benefits because the place you have to go to only has six frames to choose from. The woman that was helping me said that is not true they have sixty frames to choose from, and that my husband just had to take the prescription to the vendor on Fort Carson or Peterson AFB. After my husbands appointment he felt that he had to purchase glasses from them and went on to have new lenses put in his old frames. To the tune of $700.00 dollars. When he got home I said we should get one pair but go to the VA for a second pair of glasses. As retired military living on a fixed income I get irritated with people that want my money over what is best for me and my pocket book. Currently looking for a new vision place. Have you all ever watched the movie The Miracle on 34th Street where Santa sends them to the store that has the toy their child wants over selling them something the child doesn't want or need. It was about the customer not about the store profit! We are a military town with retiree's it would be nice if they considered and listened to what we need and want. read more

This place has a nice selection and I'm glad they worked with me on my not being happy with the glasses I had purchased. The opticians are always very nice and professional. However the ladies who sit at the front desk are so rude. In my opinion, these are the people who should be the nicest given that they are the ones who make the first impression. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. We have been trying for over 7 weeks to get my daughter glasses. I have had multiple issues just getting a response. I called after the 2 week mark they quoted to follow up. I was told they had issues with the lab not knowing for sure if her glasses were translation or not and they would call them back and confirm they with them. Quote me a week to two weeks. After two weeks I called back. No one could figure out the issue. I was finally told after calling multiple times the glasses didn't pass inspection and had to be remade and I'd just have to wait. Mind you we are at 6 weeks at this point. I've asked for a refund but I keep getting the run around. The last time I spoke with the manager Randy he said he was hoping they would be in a day or two and he would call me. A week passed and I had to call. The receptionist took a message in the morning and I never got a call back. I returned my call 5 hours later and was told he was still busy. They put me on hold for 17 minutes then hung up on me. I will have to go in person to get a refund at this point. As a paying client my time should be more important but I guess they have my money so no need for them to hurry up and make good on their end. read more

I went to Abba Eye Care to get am eye exam through the Veterans Administration Choice Program. My Exam was conducted on 09/01/2017. I received my authorization letter from the VA to get a pair glasses. Abba Eye Care in Fountain, CO. was on the preferred vendor list. I went to them to order my glasses on 09/29/2017. I was told it would take 2 weeks for my glasses. I provided my frames for the glasses. I called 10/19/2017 and was told my glasses were not ready after all this time. When I went to pick up my frames they were in a drawer and had not been processed. The receptionists were not very friendly with me but I thanked them anyway when I left the facility. read more

I have been going to abba since I moved to Colorado 3 years ago. I lived near the circle location and have never had an issue there. I moved to fountain in the spring and in August when this location opened I stopped in expecting the same great service. To put it nicely this location needs work. I have frames I like so I just wanted to order replacement lenses. I cannot remember her name (Eileen?) was helpful and told me that she'd call the circle location to get my prescription. It took several days but she called me back and we placed the order. She said 2 weeks they'd be in. Well 2 weeks passed and I hadn't heard anything so I called the fountain location, explained the situation and then was placed on hold for roughly 10 minutes before I hung up and called the circle location. The lady who picked up said she'd check into it and call me back in a few minutes. 3 hours passes and no call back so I called back the circle location to speak with a different lady. She said she'd look into it and call me back. At this point I have no hope that I'd get a call back but I did. The first woman I spoke with at fountain called to tell me the lab never got my order and they were putting in the order that day and it should be 2 weeks or less. She then added on a very weak apology. Over 2 weeks pass again and I'm so beyond irritated that I have heard nothing so I call. I spoke with Erica and she looked me up and told me my lenses were at the office. She told me they have a new automated system that sometimes doesn't function the way it's supposed to. I came in and got my lenses changed out which I appreciate but I will never go to this location again. I get mistakes happen but the lack of organization is very apparent and that half-assed apology was almost insulting. read more

Service is horrible. I ordered glasses in November, it is now FEBRUARY, and still NO glasses! They keep putting me off and saying that the Lab can't do their job but I have never had to wait 3 months for glasses. When I call the people are not polite or helpful. I was told this last time that I called in that 'Randy knows about the glasses'. Well Randy, you just lost two customers. My wife noticed that the people in that office are rude and dress unprofessionally. The ladies behind the counter act as if you are bothering them. I wish this place would have worked out since it is here in town but I would drive 50 miles to get better service before I would go to this place again. I need my glasses for work. I just landed a new job and using my old glasses is giving me a headache. You people need to get you shit together. If the lab can't make the glasses you should think about a new lab or close your doors and go home. read more
