Ok, if anyone left a bad review, they did not go to this doctor. I had a family member who needed to see a ENT doctor right away. I was told that there are great doctors in San Francisco (mind you, we are from the bayarea and will travel to see a good doctor). I've heard great things about Dr. Kashani and thought I would give it a try. BEST DECISION EVER!! The staff was absolutely amazing. They were able to check my benefits (to make sure the doctor took my insurance) within an hour (this usually takes an office a day or 2, depending how busy they are). And they were able to see us same day!!! I called around 950am and got an appointment for the same day at 1150. Now that's what I call service! This office is absolutely amazing. Alejandra (sp), Mark,the receptionist, everyone! I'm glad I did not waste my time trying to get an appointment in San Francisco. If you are thinking about going to Dr. Kashani, just do it. I had no nanny for the day of my appointment today. My previous nanny was not available. I am very disappointed after seeing Kashani. He was very insulting towards me. He told me how skinny I am and how I lost a ton of weight. He then criticized me by saying my face is thin. I have health problems and I feel it was rude of him to even make such comments to me. I am very disappointed at the unprofessionalism and pompous, arrogant attitude that he had. He told me that he would not be helping me because I had my child with me. He then stated that their prices went up as if I had no money on me. Then he tried to talk me into getting my cheeks filled and that is not what I wanted. I told him no, and he kept trying to talk me into it. I will NEVER be going back. He should be ashamed of himself for making comments towards his patients (especially sick patients)! read more

In November of 2024 I have a four-stage procedure including the balloon sinuplasty. Before the procedure Dr. Kashani put me at ease with his warm personality, his answers to all of my questions, and his tour of the room and tools that would be used. I found his staff friendly and accommodating and never waited more than 15 minutes. The procedure went perfectly with discomfort being comparable to a mere dentist visit. The recovery fatigue and headaches were a bit more difficult, but short-lived, and the doctor's post-procedure instructions were exactly what I needed. The results have truly enhanced my quality of life: I can breathe! I am thankful to Dr. Kashani and his staff and highly recommend the doctor for his expertise and sterling patient care. read more

Saw Dr. Kashani today for an upper eyelid surgery and it went fabulously. This is a no-nonsense doctor he was very thorough, very granular with his explanation so much so that I felt as if I knew exactly what was going to happen on the day of surgery. This doctor pays attention to details, I could tell by some of the comments he made during the consultation. As an FYI most doctors both in the valley and the Bay Area want a $150.00 fee just to examine you for an upper eyelid surgery, Dr. Kashani offers a free consultation. Which I really loved, what if you pay $150.00 then the doctor says to you "it's gonna cost $10,000." guess what you just lost your $150.00. The surgery cost is very, very reasonably priced as well. Needles to say, I will be booking my surgery for January! I read most of the comments here and maybe people that commented negatively didn't like his straight forward approach, or how/who he prefers to refer you to. Dr Kashani (and his staff) are not rude AT ALL he just tells you as if you were speaking to a really good friend who would give you honest answers. Would not recommend going to this so called doctor. Terrible attitude, I found he was in trouble and was on probation for 3yrs by medical board. A physician referred us to any ENT and he was only one available. We drove 1hr to see him and only seen him for 5min. Gave us nasal spray and charged my wife $150. I had to go back in and spoke with him and demanded a better answer, he did not help us at all, wasted our time, I demanded my money back for doing nothing and they did. read more

From day 1 everyone in the office was friendly and helpful with no issues. I don't understand anyone having a negative experience here because for as many times I've had interactions with Dr Kashani and his team, they have never been negative. I went in for tonsil stones and when the first line of action didn't work we agreed to do a tonsillectomy. Now this is my first time ever going under general anesthesia and my doctor and his team took great care of me. I even had a semi famous anesthesiologist from Tik Tok as my anesthesiologist. I had complications in the OR so they actually ended up admitting me into the hospital for a night but Dr Kashani came by and visited me in my room that night and also the next morning. Once I was discharged I had a follow up appt immediately at his office and there he even gave me his personal phone number since my surgery had so many issues. His nurse Allie (hope I spelled it right) literally called me EVERY morning to make sure I was okay and healing without issues. Their bedside manner, their follow up, their values, was everything id want and more in a doctor and I'm glad he was the one to take my tonsils out... even though the recovery sucks. After coming in for a few concerns he treated several areas with Botox and a few days later I've seen amazing results, smoothing of the area and so happy I came to see him. I'm very understanding when it comes to doctors being busy and all. But when the staff asks you to come in 4-5 hours earlier than your scheduled appt with less than a weeks notice AND doing this THREE TIMES, it starts to get pretty ridiculous... I was able to finally see the doctor after explaining to the receptionist that I will not reschedule my appt again. Dr. Kashani was pretty intimidating at first. It really takes a special personality to get used to him. He comes off as pretentious at first, but honestly I totally get it. I guess I feel better when the doctor is confident in their methods. I mean, my ears are feeling much better, so it's safe to say he knows what he's doing. However, what really bothered me was that it seemed the staff aren't communicating with each other, so I have to explain my situation to a different person each time. Don't they keep a call log or something? And as I mentioned earlier, I didn't appreciate them calling me at the last minute to reschedule my appt multiple times. read more

I went to this office and had three major problems: 1. I have excellent insurance. The only place he would refer me to was Drs. Hospital in Manteca for the CT scan which is required for the balloon sinuplasty (which he tries to make everyone get but that's besides the point). They tried to charge me over $900 for a stupid scan. I called Modesto Radiology who said they would do the EXACT SAME SCAN for $200. When I called the office to get a new referral there, they refused to do it. 2. This office states their hours on their website, in their actual office, and I have been told by their assistants what they are. When I call during those hours I get an automatic recording stating they're closed. This happened about 8 times over the course of 2 weeks. I started ignoring that message, hanging up, and calling 6 times in a row to see if they'd answer the freaking phone. They did. This happened on 3 separate occasions and when I asked why their receptionist told me they "forgot" to turn off night mode. I've worked in customer service for 10+ years.. you don't "forget" that many times. They screen calls and don't answer if they don't feel like it. I finally had enough and told their male receptionist this and he was RUDE. 3. The doctor didn't even really look at me.. charged me $200 to stick a scope up my nose just to tell me I was congested which I already knew. Obviously. He recommends this procedure to everyone and is a pusher. He just wants you to spend your money. I posted on my community Facebook page and 80% of the responses had the exact same experience I did and they said their issues weren't even solved after that.. and about 40% of those 80% responses had said their situation even got worse than before! I was referred to Dr Kashani in 2012 to have my tonsils removed. He suggested to also remove my uvula and repair a deviated septum. Well he did manage to 2 out of 3 correct however my nose collapsed just days after the surgery. I attempted to have him correct it and all he did was give me a shot to try to smooth it out. I've since tried again to have him correct it and they won't even talk to me. I now am having surgery to correct it 5 years later and the specialist says that the cartilage in my nose was completely decapitated. I now am having cartilage removed from my ribs to build my nose back up. This is costing me over 12K. I have tried AGAIN to have Dr Kashani either correct or help pay and still nothing. I would advise anyone to run as fast as possible from a Dr like this. Their integrity is missing like my nose support. I am so embarrassed to look like this and so ashamed that I did not listen to my instincts. I just though I'd share this disaster in hopes to help someone else. read more

After reading these reviews (just now) I can see that my first impression of Dr Kashani was correct. He is a very arrogant and pushy Doctor. I went there on 10/25/17 for vertigo. He said it had been caused by a deviated septum. He wanted to perform surgery. I had been seen by my GP and she said it was fluid on my eardrums. He said that was impossible for her to tell by looking in my ear. I told him I wanted to think about it. I came home and looked up vertigo and deviated septum and could find no correlation between the two. However I did find an article saying that if the vertigo is made worse by movement of your head to try the Epley maneuver. I did this very simple exercise ONCE and the vertigo completely went away. It's a good thing I listened to my instincts or I would have had an unnecessary surgery. Seems he's one of those surgeons that likes to perform surgery regardless of the need for it. read more

I really liked dr kashani until my son had his tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy this week. The surgery went well and Dr kashani was very attentive during the first day of recovery. Because my son is only 3 years old he had to stay overnight at the hospital. On day 2 my son started spitting out and/or throwing up all oral pain medication that was given to him. I asked if they could please give him medicine another way like by IV for example so we could read his pain and get some fluids into him by mouth. I was told absolutely not. I completely understand his reasoning, but why not offer alternative solutions? Since my son felt no affects of pain meds on his 2nd day post surgery, he was in too much pain to drink anything and absolutely refused anything I offered. This resulted in him having to stay at the hospital another night. I finally asked the nurse later in the night if it was possible to give him Tylenol suppositories to help ease his pain and to please give him something for the constant vomiting he was experiencing. The nurses called the Dr and he agreed to give him those meds. Dr kashani said several times, "you're child is sleeping soundly, he's fine. I've been doing this for 25 years, I know what I'm doing". No, he was not fine. You do not deprive a 3 year old child of pain relief the day after surgery. Maybe he's used to children screaming when they're in pain, but my child completely shuts down and goes blank in the face, which is exactly what He was doing. He could have offered him the suppositories when he refused the iv pain meds. Instead my little guy had to suffer for over 24 hours with zero pain relief. When I was visibly upset about the situation Dr kashani was very condescending to me and his bedside manner was horrible. We will be switching to a pediatric ENT for all post op care from here on out. read more

7 doctors later and still no diagnosis.. asthma.. allergies.. intubation from the catarct surgery caused it.. throat ulcer.. COPD.. the "diagnoses" from these ridiculous doctors were endless!! here comes Dr. Kashani and his awesome staff to save the day (and another headache to boot!) got me in same day and and the timing worked out well with my schedule... brought my mom in for yet another diagnosis of her cough that has lingered since May 2011 after a cataract surgey.. only this time, Dr. Kashani pinpointed the problem: Nasal Drip. dispensed a Rx for some nasal medication and VOILA! problem started to clear itself up! couldn't thank Dr. Kashani any more than i already have.. highly recommended doctor in my book.. would definitely refer anyone! excellent! :) clean office, friendly staff.. very professional.. answered all questions and then some.. also made that microscope procedure very comfortable for my mom! read more

Kashani was arrogant and pushy. I went in for a dizzy spell that I was having, he treated me disrespectfully by pushing around my chair so the I can watch videos about placing a balloon in my nose to cure my dizziness. I came in the office in desperate need of help. I feel like my situation was taken advantage of and used to make money off of an unnecessary procedure "sinoplasty". Dr Kashani swore my vertigo would be gone and I would get my life back. 6 weeks after the procedure, when I continued to complain about my severe ear pain, I was told to "call a psychiatrist" because I was just "stressed". This was in December. In January my vertigo attacks came back and I am still disabled by them. Unable to drive, unable to walk without falling, sometimes unable to even care for my own children. My ear pain has been constant and consistent since before my procedure. I'm left with no answers and am just dealing with my symptoms at this point. I was unsure where to turn after my experience. I'm highly disappointed that a doctor would get frustrated and treat a patient like this. Something is medically wrong with the vestibular nerve in my left ear and Dr kashani failed me, he got frustrated and gave up on me. read more

I have struggled with debilitating vertigo several times in the past 10 years. I have been to several ENT's and several neurologists. None of them have known what to do to help me... they have thrown antibiotics at me and have used names like vestibular neuritis but none of them have been able to help me until I met Dr Kashani. In 2012 He fixed my deviated septum and did balloon sinoplasty and and after a week or so my vertigo went away, after nearly a year of suffering. In 2019, my vertigo came back. I was living in the Bay Area and didn't want to drive to Manteca. I thought another doctor would be able to help me like Dr Kashani had. I was wrong. once again, other doctors couldn't or wouldn't help me. It wasn't until I decided to go back to Dr Kashani that I was able to get any real solution. He performed balloon sinoplasty in my sinuses and Eustachian tubes.. and by the next day, I already felt improvement. I can now drive again and do things I couldn't do when I had vertigo. read more

Dr. Kashani is the most passionate and knowledgeable doctor I have encountered. My four year old son was experiencing significant post operative complications (post operative hemorrhaging) from a tonsillectomy performed by another surgeon at Children's Hospital of Central California. After receiving no assistance from the original surgeon and a catch and release treatment from the ER at Doctors Hospital of Modesto and three separate episodes with significant bleeding, we found Dr. Kashani located close to us in Manteca via the internet. I placed a call at 4pm in the afternoon explaining what was happening with my son. Without consideration of his own liability he instructed us to bring him to his office immediately. After triaging my son, he recommended immediate emergency surgery at Doctors Hospital in Manteca, Ca. My son had lost half the blood in his body and had it not been for the true caring nature of Dr. Kashani, my son would not be alive today. He even cancelled his family vacation to ensure he was there to take care of my son. This doctor actually cares about healing patients, not simply generating revenues. If you are doing research to find a skilled, well respected doctor you can trust, stop looking. Dr. Kashani is the best available. read more
