On December 8th 2025, the rubber seal on the bottom panel caught itself in the side rail and tore completely off the door. I called for service. On December 10th the technician arrived and suggested that the failure was user error, that I had "allowed" the seal to become frozen to the ground. First, I've never heard of such a thing. Second, this is Michigan... Now, after several weeks, and several attempts to reach Jason. He texted me and said that "the manufacturer had rejected my claim"??? But, not to worry, because the garage door guy, would sell me an "aftermarket" repair for just $300.

He has no intensions of calling us back and fixing this and resolving the warranty that he claims his business offered us on the receipt. Buyers DO NOT work with this company. Then the technician came and said $249 per spring total $498. I was in a hurry so OK whatever. After it's all done, he said adding $99 installation fee to it, the total price + tax is $646.80. Does it sound like a scam to you!? I know the price went up but a few years ago when people quote me a similar job say $300 and that's the final price. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses. The tech also put a sticker on the wall said 24/7 Garage Door Experts. So, I really don't know which one is their real name. Just be aware!
