My wife called The Garage Door Guy at around 7p and they immediately called back to set up an appointment for the next day to look at the door. They showed up on time, were very professional, and temporarily fixed the door. My mom was told that she'd eventually need a new door, but they didn't try to pressure or hard sell her into a new one. They left her some brochures to look, thanked her, and were on their way. The total cost was $50 which was more than fair! I highly recommend this business. My mother is elderly and they treated her with respect and were very honest. She's very particular and had nothing but good things to say about them!

After no call Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday I contacted the company and left a message expressing my unhappiness. I returned home at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday to message offering to fix the problem between 5-7 Wednesday (when I wasn't home) I called and left another message stating that given the situation I was not happy about a 2 hour service window and if need be I would have the problem fixed by another provider. At 7:25 p.m. I received a belligerent call from the service tech asking if I was home because he would come over and fix it right then. I told him that I did not want someone working on my garage at 7:30 at night and that frankly I was disappointed that the original tech hadn't been true to his word, to which he sarcastically replied, "yeah, no one makes mistakes." Representatives from this company have been unreliable, rude, and belligerent. I had the work done through Lowes of Southgate and I would recommend asking Lowes which company will be installing your door before purchasing. Clearly this is not someone I will ever hire again and strongly encourage others not to do so.
