I don't know about you, but one thing that grosses me out is dirty salt and pepper shakers and ketchup bottles, not to mention crusty hot sauce bottles. Thankfully, there was NONE of that at Abby's!! Everything looked and felt clean. Shout out to the kitchen staff who were on point with the delicious food and the speedy service!! And thanks to all the bussers working hard to clear plates and turn tables. I ordered the veggie omelet with no cheese, and it was GREAT! If you're trying to go dairy free, be sure to order egg whites instead of normal eggs. I'm fairly certain that the regular eggs have milk added to them. I could be wrong though. I would like this place but I got the chili and it tasted like they just opened a can and put it on the plate without even warming it up. Cozy little cafe, doing big things. The restaurant has all your basic diner feels. Staff seems to know all the regulars stopping in. You are greeted with a smile and provided extra service from bussing staff or hostess. Moses waited on us today. He was calm and very patient with my Mother and I as she decided on her food. The menu has a great selection. Mom had the mushroom burger and the meat was good quantity and cooked perfectly tender even at well. She loved how soft and fresh the bun and mushrooms were too. She's super picky so I was so happy to see her enjoy her food. I had a patty melt and it was perfect. We shared a yummy strawberry shake which they had no issue splitting up for us. It was really clean from the entry to our seats and the restrooms. I had a sense from the employees they love working there, and it's showing up in the food quality and service for sure. I have eaten at Abby's in the excess of 100 times and have had nothing but great service. The food is absolutely delicious and always hot. The service rates a 10+. I've seen some negative feedback from a certain male and I can tell you he is absolutely full of it. It's obvious to me he's intentionally trying hard this fine establishment reputation. Horrible service! Walked in and the hostess immediately had an awful attitude. Our server Kelly was also completely rude and had a facial expression of anger and disgust.
