Horrible service! Walked in and the hostess immediately had an awful attitude. Our server Kelly was also completely rude and had a facial expression of anger and disgust. I had dinner here the other night. I had a patty melt, and it was excellent! My brother had country fried steak and mashed potatoes he said it was very good. My daughter is usually super picky and she actually loved her Buffalo chicken sandwich and the home made cheesecake! The staff was very prompt & friendly. The place is super clean and brand new. I'm a sucker for places that serve breakfast all day so this place made me smile obviously. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with their waffle. It was soft all around and it wasn't crisp on the outside and not the golden brown I'm used to. The scrambled eggs was a little cold, but the bacon and hash browns were more to my liking. We just had dinner at the new location in Hemet. They were really busy so we ate at the counter. The food was great, as usual. The staff was real busy but took a little time to make sure we were ok. Poor customer service and rude aggressive servers. We had bought our service dog in and we had asked to sit in the corner and the server gave us the smallest booth so the dog could not fit under (that wasn't in the corner). We then were told multiple times and bothered through out the whole time we were eating and teamed up against by two of the servers. We felt uncomfortable, pushed, and rushed out of the restaurant. Our dog is well behaved and laid on the floor the whole time. They took forever to bring our food and by the time we got the food it was cold. We didn't receive any refills at all. We live very far away and drove all the way down the mountain just to eat here. We are regulars and sad to say we won't be back ever again. Too bad we weren't able to enjoy our time and ourselves while eating. Most uncomfortable experience ever. Get new servers!!! This is probably one of the better breakfast places in Hemet. Inexpensive and fast service. Your coffee cup is never empty and everyone seems to enjoy what they do. I ordered the basic egg and sausage link breakfast. Unfortunately, they either rushed the order or it sat up in the pass too long and everything was barely warm (hence 4 out of 5 stars). Our family tried this restaurant on 2-26-18. It was a phone in order. The lady who answered the phone was really nice. She helped in finding a meal for my super picky 5 year old. Pancakes with extra bacon. Yummy for him and it was evening time. My Husband and I tried the patty melt Delicious. I don't understand the excuse for no take out due to lack of containers. I can get take out from any other restaurant, no problem. Suggest getting another supplier. Doubt that we will ever return since you have cut off those of us that are not comfortable with dining in. We order two coffees, they brought us two water downed "coffees" , when we asked if we can get two different ones , or a stronger coffee , (one that didn't taste like old coffee and watered down) obviously I didn't say that part . Checked out this place recently and overall, had a wonderful experience. This is a cute cafe with a homey feel. Our server was pretty attentive and friendly. I ordered their Vegi Cheese Omelette with Country Potatoes and a pancake. Everything was tasty. The salsa was only so so. It reminded me of Pace from the jar. I also ordered some tomato basil soup as I was super hungry. Our server said they were making fresh soup, so it would take about 10 minutes, which was fine. It ended up taking more like 30 minutes, but I still wanted it even though I was already eating my meal. They comped my soup and apologized, which I appreciated. My siblings liked their food and liked the crinkle cut fries. I would probably return when I'm in town again. read more
