Omg!!!!!! Abby's Cafe is so amazing from the staff to the food I would rate it ten out of ten. My faves there are the French toast and the tomatoes soap. The cafe is right by my house so I bring almost everyone I know there. Every time before me and my friend go somewhere we go there to eat first. They keep the place so clean and make you feel like your at home. We also went there a few months ago for my great grandmas 90th birthday!!!!! Everyone I bring there really likes the food and hospitality of this place. My family also goes there on cold winter days to get a warm homemade meal. read more

Stopped for breakfast today. Must say food is average, over priced for what you get. My English muffin was grilled on the flattop which I guess is OK except the outside of the bottom was MUSHY like it was soaked in some kind of liquid GROSS. The worst part was the entire staff is unfriendly, no sense of humor. Not one smile from any of them. Sure is a great way to make customers feel unwelcome. Our server was friendly, they have plenty of seating (it gets busy here) and food was pretty good. I ordered the California omelet and it wasn't too bad. I think omelets aren't their strong suit. It comes with country potatoes or hash browns and toast. I ordered their country potatoes and they were okay. A little too greasy. I def want to try their other items. Their sourdough toast was nice and buttery and their orange juice was tasty and not fake tasting. They have really cool Hemet pictures on the wall from back in the day. read more

Have been regulars going on a year and a half. The food is consistantly good. The thing that makes this place so good it is like sharing your table with family. From the servers to the other patrons everybody seems to be enjoying themselves. Its the place where everybody knows your name. Breakfast,lunch or dinner they have something for everybody. My husband and I are new to Hemet and decided to give this place a try. It's very cute, neat and clean inside. Our waitress was very friendly as were all the staff. There seemed to be a lot of regulars. My husband ordered a Patty Melt and I think I had an omelette...and that's the problem. The food was Ok. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't memorable. It's close and we'd go if we didn't feel like driving into town, but there are more memorable places to eat. read more

Abby's cafe is by far one of the best restaurants in Hemet. The food is great and always consistent. The prices are great and the service is excellent. We frequent this restaurant at least 5 times a month, and the staff treats us like family while always remaining professional and attentive to all of thier customers. Great breakfast!! I have lived here since May and have already stopped in 3 times, and brought my parents once. Great corned beef hash. The girls are sweet and quick, and there is always people there eating. Great place, now we just have to try another meal time here! read more

This is my first time for Abby's...wow! What a wonderful surprise. We were seated quickly...although the place was packed...our water came quickly, our order was taken and arrived asap. The two servers kept everyone happy (and made it look easy which it isn't). The hamburger and blt were ample and tasty and affordable...can't say enough excellent stuff about this place. They now also serve dinner and we'll be BACK!!! read more

I ate at annual for the first time to day and had a great experience.... it is mothers day, and we arrived before they were to open, they opened the cafe early for us. the food was great and our server Kelly was not only pleasent, she is also an ace at her job. if 10% of the worlds population were like her this would be a much nicer place to live... thanks Kelly. read more

Very inconsistent. This is sadly still the best breakfast place in Hemet I have been to. The eggs benedict is very good, but I simply do not understand how you can take the time to make fresh hollandaise sauce but then serve a pre made, pre packaged frozen chicken fried steak. I am so sick of getting the same frozen patty at every breakfast place. Is it really that hard to simply bread your own chicken fried steak? Also, I have had to send eggs back here several times due to not being properly cooked. So far, the only dish that stands out on a consistent basis is the banana walnut french toast. Some friends told us about this place and I decided to try it while in Hemet. It is way out of HWY 74 but well worth the drive. A spotlessly clean little café with a great menu of breakfast and lunch items. Service was excellent and food was better than average. This is a place that I will look forward to going back to. read more

We were pleasantly surprised with our first visit (for sure not our last) with another couple today for lunch, omelets and tuna sandwich and a bacon cheeseburger was our choices. Everyone had very positive comments and the serving staff were friendly and thoughtful. I would recommend the cheeseburger with fries it was as large as a hubcap. read more
