I had noticed these Abby's Pizza places all over Oregon, so I decided to try this one out while I was recently in Medford. I have to admit, the place did not seem very up to date and well kept, so I was a little apprehensive going in. As it turned out, I ordered a 7 inch mini bbq chicken pizza. It was totally delicious! It was actually much better than many such pizzas I have paid a lot more money for. The 7 inch mini goes for only $8.80, and I thought it was plenty for an individual meal. Also, the staff seemed very friendly and helpful here. So this place gets high kudos for the food and service, but in all fairness the ambience is not all that great. read more

My fifteen year old son went up front and asked if he could have ones she said she couldn't hear him he repeats himself and she yells I STILL CANT HEAR YOU so he repeats it YET AGAIN but louder and now she says YOU WANT A ONE FOR A FIVE her demeanor and body language rude as can be. First thing I noticed when I walked in was how run down it was. I ordered my pizza asked for light sauce and once the transaction was final, I said thank you and the kid that took my order said nothing back. The kid that brought me my food was nice. I noticed that the mushrooms on my pizza were an afterthought and where barely cooked. I asked for light sauce and all of the sauce was in the corners of the crust and didn't make a for a good bite. The kids and I say kids because they were all very young no adults and stood around talking. There were 2 other tables besides me so not busy, so I guess they had nothing else to do. The sketchy people who came in and went straight to the lottery room did nothing for the atmosphere. Not very inviting nor pleasant experience. The pizza is expensive for the number of toppings even for the Abby's Special which always has a lot was cut back. I will not be back. read more

I placed an order over the phone today at 5:03pm, and explained i have a coupon for free 16inches pizza i won at a charity event. the lady on the phone suggested getting the heart shaped pizza for Valentine's and i asked if my coupon works and she said it would. When i got there, my coupon was Not accepted because the heart shaped pizzas were already discounted from $30 to $22 and i can't use a coupon on top of a discount. i tried to understand and asked her why she said it was OK over the phone and then still wanted me to pay $22. a coupon that says FREE 16 inch pizza is free, wether it originally costs $30 or $22, right? the lady asked her manager who said he wouldn't honor the coupon and the other coworker looked at the coupon and tried to explain why a "FREE coupon" doesn't work .... So weird !!! so i explained i would Not be purchasing a pizza tonight at their establishment and my daughter and i left. what a uncomfortable thing to explain to my 6yr old and why we have to go down the street to another pizza joint..... We ordered pizza and Greek salad delivered to our camper at Southern Oregon RV Park. The thin crust pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage and extra cheese was great!! Greek salad was ordered with onions on the side (and came as ordered) with balsamic vinaigrette-which was very nice. All was delivered in a reasonable time and the delivery man was very personable and polite. We have ordered pizza from here previously when traveling through and most certainly will again. read more

Don't do it. Just don't. How can you mess up a simple pepperoni pizza? Why is the crust mildly sweet like a donut? Why does it seem eerily similar to DiGiorno in taste? Why was the seal on the box ripped? (Ok, that could've been the delivery guy or whatever.) How can it look so good but taste so plain? Why does the cheese have on odd texture? Listen, I've had pizza from all over the US. I admit the bar was set high. The thing is, I enjoy a vast majority of the pizza I've had. It's really hard to mess up pizza. My child-like understanding of cooking + using the basic ingredients you can get from a grocery store ....WOULD TOP THIS. When the big name pizza chains has you beat, you've messed up. When I've had better pizzas in college/hospital cafeterias, you've messed up. I'm not interested in a copy/paste response from a rep for this restaurant either. Had our last planned civilized meal here before reaching our camping destination, we had in the car since 5:30 in the morning and stopped here for a late lunch or early dinner, Linner. The pizza was good, we were starving; but im pretty sure that it wasn't just frozen pizza heated up real quick like most pizza chains. The veggies on my pizza were fresh and there was plenty of them. The crust was a fantastic thickness, not too doughy or too crunchy. Boyfriend got something with meat which he seemed to really enjoy. Video game room was dirty, littered with napkins, glasses and tumblers. The staff was unfriendly. The dining tables are smashed together so tight that a person is unable to navigate. They no longer offer free soft drinks to gamblers. Their beer prices are outrageous. And the pizza is not as good as it once was. Disappointed and will not return. read more

I honestly think the delivery driver that comes to my door every time I order. . .is on crack, or something similar. There is seriously something wrong with that guy. He never completes his own sentences, he sporadically flails about, and say's things like "how ya doing tonight? Good-good" without waiting for a reponse. Why? Recently moved into the nearby neighborhood and realized Abby's was one of the only pizza places that delivers to our house. It was the first night in the new place and we ordered some pizza. It was horrible. It tasted just wrong, undercooked? Something was wrong. And then I was sick to my stomach for 3 days after. We have had Abby's in the past and I remember it always seeming kind of gross but this was the nail In the coffin. Waited nearly two hours for an online order! I called after an hour and a half and they hadn't even gotten my pizza in the oven yet. The guy on the phone told me that it was a really busy time and that they had had a big party. You're a pizza place. Get it together. If you can't handle taking online orders, disable it. Pizza isn't bad and they did send the money back to my account right away. So they do know how to do some things right. Highly suggest physically going in to place an order. And stare at them the whole time you're waiting. They need the motivation. read more

We were visiting Crater Lake, when we found this local gem on the way back ftom hiking down and up Cleetwood Cove. We got a Hawaiian style pizza, perfect crust, great cheese and Canadian bacon. Friendly service, too. We will definitely go back there when we visit Oregon again. read more

Abby's is our favorite pizza place when visiting Oregon, and we always end up going to the Florence location two or three times when we're staying at the TT South Jetty campground. We hadn't had enough Abby's pizza, so decided to stop by this location on our way home. We're glad we did! We ordered by phone and asked to have our pizza and spuds ready at 2:30. Arrived at 2:20, and our order was ready right on time. We ordered our usual: pepperoni pizza and mojo's. Thought the mojo's weren't cooked enough, but they were awesome (as usual). Plenty of sauce on the pizza, nice crispy crust, and they even turned on baseball on the TV for us. The manager was very friendly, and was nice enough to let us buy two Abby's beer glasses even though we didn't buy beer. Worthy of SIX stars! read more

I love Abby's! I live in Seattle, but grew up in Medford. I'm here visiting and just had pizza delivered and they literally forgot 1/2 my pizza! Taco pizza without the lettuce, tomato and cheese. We were traveling through Meford tonight going back to San Francisco and really needed some small pizza shop style pizza. It was great. Maybe the decor is a bit rustic, but not crap like some of the dive places where we live. The crust was just right, about medium to thin and crisp on the outside - no burns. The pizza had plenty of toppings and all of them fresh. Their beer selection is a bit limited, but don't let that stop you. The pizza is great, and better then most places where I live. We almost skipped this place because of the very few ratings, but glad we didn't. Check it out, there is the more popular looking joint up the street, but when we drove past it looked like an hour wait to get in. I suggest skip the young trendy crowds and just dive into some pizza goodness at Abbys. The weary traveler was welcomed. read more

Stayed at motel 6 on Biddel Rd. and found this pizza joint near by. Ordered a pizza with half beef half salami with all shrooms and order of hot wings to go. Tasted great; pizza right thickness and crispness. Plenty of toppings. Chicken wings good too. Friendly and complete service. For what my son and I ordered 5 stars. Why the 5th star?
