They're also very thorough about which dogs they accept, ensuring all pets are up to date on vaccinations, have had recent exams, and pass a behavior assessment before joining the group. Still loving our experience here. We used them for boarding 3-4 times last year and every time it was perfect. Our pup had an amazing time (puppy camp!) and we didn't have to worry one bit. I've used Paws at Play a number of time for day care and boarding. I really appreciate that they are selective about the temperament of the dogs they allow into the facility. It definitely makes a big difference as I've taken my dog to other facilities that were not as selective, which leads to a chaotic setting. He initially had some separation anxiety when we first started. Thankfully, the folks here ensured each time he came that he was comfortable and would update me every time I came to pick him up on his progress and behavior. Obi now knows when we're pulling up because his little tail nub starts wagging. I really appreciate how they have a half day option for day care as it makes it very convenient when we expect work being done at our place. When I came to get a tour, Melissa showed me the whole facility and I was so surprised how clean it was! Then when I took Shiloh to get day care, he doesn't smell at all! Usually he would smell from a day of daycare at another place, but not at Paws at Play! They really take good care of your dog and the staff there are so caring and kind. We've been taking our little one here since we first got her in October 2024. As a first time dog owner, there was a lot of anxiety as my job also suddenly picked up in the year making me feel guilty admitting that I need help with watching our new edition to the house. Enter Paws at Play. After hearing Jonathan and Melissa's story of why they started the daycare, I couldn't help but book a temperament eval for our nervous pup. Since them I am so glad I did. Seeing videos of our pup alongside several happy other ones playing in the well protected and covered turf brings me reassurance when I cannot be there. The drop-by tour that was offered for me also gave me reassurance that the facilities are incredibly safe and clean. All other staff are a quite a joy to talk to and well-versed in helping us as our dog was getting to know us, and vice versa. read more

I found Paws at Play via Yelp back in early 2024. My husband and I were very selective, albeit anxious, to which daycare/boarding facility we would entrust our beloved boy. From the time we inquired and was given the tour, Melissa has been nothing but very welcoming and transparent--qualities which made my husband and I give it a try. Understandably, Kashi was anxious during his first daycare and first boarding experience. But Jonathan and Melissa kept us well-informed of how Kashi did with his new found fur-friends, as well as anything new or different (more of Kashi's personality just shining through) with our boy. When we went on a month-long trip, we were all at ease that Kashi is in good hands. The daily updates made us feel secured that even if we're on the other side of the world, Kashi's needs are being met and he's well taken care of. I used to take my Shihpoo girl to board at Petsmart in my city because it's convenient but not any more, now I only trust this place. They are careful about what dogs are accepted by pre screening potential dogs. They provide daily updates and videos. The outside grassy play area is fully shaded and secure. Dogs get plenty of outside playtime. Each dog is housed in climate controlled individual suites with a comfy cot with bedding. They have a kitchen that prepares their meals brought from home. We have boarded our poodle Snowy with Melissa and Jonathan a number of times. Snowy loves this boarding. The facility is very clean and there is a lot of nice outdoor space for dogs to play. The dogs are separated based on their size, and are always supervised. I also appreciate Snowy getting his own private kennel space to rest and sleep. Melissa and Jonathan are very kind and understand the pets needs. They make sure that all the dogs are up to date in their vaccination and tests, making this a safe day care and boarding for pets. We use Paws at Play as occasional drop-in care for our dog when we're going to be gone for a long stretch of the day. Having this wonderful facility at the ready when we need it brings such peace of mind. Paws at Play is extremely clean, well-run and the number of dogs in their care each day is very reasonable. We often get videos of our dog's playtime and there are always lots of wagging tails and romping (and lounging for the dogs who want to be close to the action but maybe not actively involved). The online system for booking care and purchasing packages is very user-friendly and communication is always quick and clear. We love the convenient location and the fact that we can drop our dog off (at 7am!) and still make it to work on time--many other places don't open that early. Prices are very reasonable, too! We're very happy at Paws and Play and would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for daycare for their dog. read more

I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars!! I recently went looking for a place to board my dogs while my family went on vacation and originally found a large facility that seemed good, but when looking, they charged extra for my dogs own diet or sitting and giving 1:1 time with the dogs, their play areas seemed to have sooo many dogs and very little people, and they don't get to go outside. I kept looking and found paws at play and I couldn't be happier. From talking to Melissa on the phone to seeing the facility, I could just tell they cared so much. They really deliver by giving your dog a home away from home. They keep groups small and take the time to treat your pet like their own. While they don't have cameras you can log into and see the dogs all day, they personally send you a video at the end of the day and keep you updated. I feel like I can go on and on about how amazing and sweet they are there. I will be sending my dogs there for all future boarding or day care needs. Our one year old golden retriever, Sunny, is treated like a king at home and yet bursting with excitement when we pull up to Paws at Play! Sunny has been to Paws at Play for "day care" and has also boarded there several times, including week long stays when we were out of town. Melissa (owner) is truly dedicated to understanding each dog's needs/preferences and goes above and beyond to ensure each dog has a positive experience under her care. The other staff members I've met all seem like wonderful caretakers as well. The facility is immaculate and comfortable. The dogs enjoy lots of SUPERVISED play time in between rest/meal times in their air conditioned/ heated, individual suites. These are not crates but rather individual areas with a Kuranda bed and cozy pad. Melissa is an excellent communicator and sends a daily video of dogs who stay over night. When we come to pick up Sunny, he happily greets us but then turns back to get one last pet from Melissa or whoever is at the front desk! We are truly grateful to have found Paws at Play. read more
