My dog loves it here!! He doesn't want to go home every time he spends time at Splash

Great facility! Highly recommend if you're ready to go on vacation this is the place to go your animals will love it.

I arranged a tour of the space, conveniently located on Gothard . There are 2 sections for outdoor play . The one on the left had the smaller dogs, and the one on the right has the bigger dogs. I could be wrong, but it looked to me like the Big Dogs were cavorting on artificial grass... sometimes hot in the summer sun, but both sides had an overhang for shade . LOTS of big dogs. I was told they could have a total of 50 dogs at a time. My dog weighs 10 pounds, I was not able to view that play area through the one small window. I can't imagine leaving my dog someplace where I couldn't see where they would be kept during the day to play, nor were there cameras mentioned do as to watch the dog during the day. I was allowed to see the kennel area, which was appeared aged, dark and smelled heavily of well, dog! They must be doing something right based on the number of dogs! And, to be fair, my neighbor just loves this place. Maybe I missed something. For me, depressing, and dank. Your mileage will hopefully vary. read more

Myself, and my dog were really looking forward to his temperament test so he can play with the other dogs. Unfortunately, the customer service, and communication are awful! I drive 30 minutes to this place, and I bring his vaccine records, and they tell me in person that my dog needs 3 rounds of his DHPP vaccine, which wasn't stated anywhere on the reminder text they sent me the day before. See below. My dog's been to the vet within the last couple of months so he's not some sickly, unchecked dog or hasn't been around other pets. Furthermore, I have no idea how they couldn't do the temperament test at the very least, since he wasn't even able to do the playgroup yet until that was done. Massive waste of time, and got my dog's hopes up for nothing. I definitely won't be back! read more

I no longer bring my dog here because she kept coming home with wounds/cuts. Each time i would call to ask if there was any report or knowledge of how these cuts happened, the staff would say they didn't know and had zero information to report. I understand dogs play rough, mine does too, but i couldn't trust that the staff was actually supervising and intervening to protect my dog without me there. We have been taking our dogs to Splash for years and they love it!! Clayton and Fin walk in and the front desk already greets them by name. It's wonderful how personal it feels. The dogs always come home exhausted and checking the instagram story to see if we can spot them playing is the best. Great for when you need to get the dogs out of the house and get their energy out! My pup Biggie Smalls loves time at Splash premier pet resort! He is a pug so in the summer months it can get really hot for him. They make sure to keep him hydrated and bring him inside for air conditioning intermittently which I think is that extra touch that shows they care. They do such a great job watching the dogs closely and we are always so comfortable with leaving her there for daycare. She comes back happy and tired every time! I have been taking my dog Maggie here for about 7 years. She was a rescue and is very apprehensive about people and settings. The splash team has been very good with Maggie over all these years. She has a hard time with transitions but when she realizes we are going to splash she yelps and barks with excitement. Probably one of very few places she loves going to. We are so thankful we found Splash. The second we pull into the parking lot- our dog lights up and her tail starts wagging like crazy! She is a frequent day care pup, and has been boarded here as well and loves going to Splash. The owners & staff truly care about the dogs/customers. Our dog was in a car accident (at home) and needed emergency surgery. Splash sent her a get well card with all of the staff signing notes to our dog sending their well wishes. It was so nice of them and just shows how much they care about our dogs while they're watching them. I did a lot of research into boarding facilities as I was going out of town and didn't like Petsmart boarding due to multiple poor experiences. I ended up looking at Splash due to being down the street from my work and multiple positive referrals from clients at the vet's office I work. Alison and Lauren's extensive knowledge in dogs (from conformation to dog training) attracted me to reach out. Their staff are all very well trained and dog savvy! I felt much more secure in knowing they require temperament testing before being allowed to utilize the facility and my dog (an anxious rescue) did extremely well! They followed her medication and feeding schedule to a T and was even able to pay a little bit more for a bathing service. Honestly ever since then, I haven't looked back. I've worked with dogs for about 8-9 years now and understand the ins and outs and challenges of working in the industry and I've had nothing but good things to say. Alison is a fantastic, straight to the point, and patient trainer who worked well with my dog despite her being reactive and barky. I never once felt like my dog was not welcomed or "too much" and we left learning a lot (but training is life long, you gotta keep practicing!). Their staff know my pet by name now and she's always so excited to go to daycare. We brought our beagle in for a training session and was super impressed. We have a five-year-old rescue, who had never been on a leash. I swear within five minutes, Allison had our Ruby walking with a choke chain like she was born with one on. Most importantly, she taught me how I should be handling the leash and the dog.
