My husband got in contact with LeNay about pricing and LeNay encouraged us to bring the pups for an evaluation with Andrea. We went and met with Andrea and immediately I fell in love. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. There was no smell and the facility was spotless. It was a huge difference from the last place we went to. Andrea spent over an hour with us evaluating the dogs and talking about how they run their daycare. Andrea explained that they like to take the dogs on 2-3 walks when they are at the daycare full day. Andrea asked us to go on a walk with the dogs so she can evaluate how they are on leash. I really appreciated the thorough evaluation because it made me feel that Andrea cared about our dogs and that every other dog that will be coming into the facility will be appropriate. Andrea told us since they are new they are offering 1st daycare for free so we tried them out and decided to buy a 30 day pass. So for we've taken the dogs 3 times and really appreciate Andrea & Brittany. Andrea texts my husband throughout the day and gives us updates about the dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruff Life for pawrents who need a trustworthy place to drop of their dogs. They also offer grooming and baths at a great price. I met with the owner LeNay for the first "interview" and she was awesome, and you could really tell she opened Ruff Life Resort for the right reasons. Penelope has been here 2 times already and she loves it. They sent me photos and even a video throughout the day of her playing with another little dog and it made me so happy. She comes home and sleeps the rest of the evening because she's so tuckered out. It's great socialization for her to play with her kind and great for us that evening at least...it's like a free night for the hubby and me because she just sleeps. haha. Puppies have so much energy! Love this place! Wish I could send her here like 3 times a week.She always comes back happy, and the place is spotless. They take them on multiple walks a day, and are always supervised.

We met Alex at Centinela 7 months ago when we were taking our dog for a bath. After speaking with Alex briefly, she gave us a glimmer of hope that we could live a more normal life with our reactive dog. We meet for our free consult and after evaluating our dog, she gave us homework to do before our next meeting. Over the span of several months, we noticed a significant improvement in his behavior. During each session, Alex was highly professional and ensured we understood what she was doing and why, as well as what and why we needed to do our part. I cannot recommend Alex enough for anyone struggling with serious behavior issues with their dog. As long as you have realistic expectations and are willing to do your part, you will see results. My dogs had never been boarded before, and I'd never been away from them, so finding the right place for a 17‑lb dog and a 75‑lb dog felt stressful. Ryan could take my small dog, but my big girl needed a different setup. He then suggested in‑home boarding with Myriam, which turned out to be the perfect fit. I toured several kennels, even the upgraded "suite" options, but the constant barking made my big dog anxious. Myriam's home was the complete opposite--calm, comfortable, and clearly designed with big dogs in mind. My dog relaxed with her right away. She has a large enclosed yard where my pup spent hours playing fetch, and Myriam sent daily updates and photos throughout the five‑day stay. As a bonus, since she wasn't watching any other dogs, she welcomed my small dog too, so they could stay together. I'll absolutely return to Myriam for future boarding. I trust her, and most importantly, my dogs trusted her.

My initial enrollment with the Veterans/First Responder Service Dog Training (VFR) team began back…read morein February of 2024. What started as a simple intention to gain basic obedience training soon evolved into an ongoing, dedicated commitment to getting my pound rescued dog certified as a full-service dog. I continue to work towards becoming an efficient handler of my service dog, and because of my VFR training, my service dog has mastered almost twenty of the required thirty commands towards graduation. As a result of our training activities, I walk five miles a day, have lost over sixty-five pounds (65lbs), and have been able to stop the use of most of my previously prescribed medications. Because of our training, I was able to take my dog on vacation with me while we visited multiple national parks, a UNESCO site, restaurants, museums and stayed at four-star hotels, without having to pay for pet service fees. VFR affiliation means more to me than basic obedience training, it is about the unspoken camaraderie of the membership that consists of military veterans (and active duty) as well as first responders. Jenny and James are fantastic people, and I am indebted to them for the training they provide at no cost to me.
