This was a decent place for a quick bite to eat. Most of us got typical chicken fingers and fries, and they were warm, crispy, and cooked well (as far as chicken fingers go!). My husband got the Mediterranean salad, which was big and decent. They loaded on the dressing, so I would recommend asking for it on the side if you don't like a ton of dressing. The lines were quite long, but it was a decent place to sit down in a cool spot to eat. The location is nice, as it is pretty close to a few different attractions. They have bathrooms inside, though they always seem busy! This is definitely a decent option for a quick meal. read more

Disney's quick service restaurants are a mixed bag. On the one hand, they're much more affordable than the character restaurants and buffets. On the other hand, your choices are extremely limited. And this one is no exception. You get your choice of five dishes. That's it. Just five: one burger, a steak, a fish dish, a salad and a chicken/rib combo. No different ways to have it, no choices in sides. Take your pick and live with it. Kids meals have four options, one of which is an overpriced snack box of crackers, yogurt, and meager helpings of fruit and veggie sticks. Now, the food quality IS good. I definitely don't complaints in that regard. But man, is it deflating to have to choose between a menu with variety and not spending a small fortune. The restaurant itself is clean and presented nicely. Lots of props and stuff from TV shows like scripts and costumes are on display. Would be nice to see stuff from classic shows, but I get that this isn't a museum. That being said, one huge failing are the numerous TV's that show NOTHING but a 20 second loop of the ABC logo fading in and out. HUGE FAIL. Why not show some current shows, or classics like Roseanne or Home Improvement or Macguyver? I mean, if you're gonna have 40 TV's in a place (no joke, there's one every twenty feet), DO SOMETHING WITH THEM! All in all, a good place to eat for a quick bite, provided you don't mind limiting your options ... but they could've done SO much more here. A monument to missed opportunities. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. I honestly give them ZERO stars. I had the bacon cheeseburger for nearly $13 and it was a huge mound of tasteless inedible mass. I believe the large mystery bland meat patty was steamed, the lonely cheese slice barely fit. I tasted no bacon. Lifted the huge gray patty and there was the thinnest slice of bacon, might as well not have been on the burger - same for the cheese. So, seeking some flavor, being hungry and I was already $13 in the hole, I threw the rabbit food on the burger. Still flavorless. Added ketchup and salt, and it turned into just crap. The best part about the alleged burger? It's picture on the menu, My Diet Coke was actually Coke too. Bottom line, AVOID AVOID AVOID. This is the place to go whether you have a dining plan or you are eating without one! The burger I had here was absolutely delicious I would recommend the southwest burger to anyone but that is not the only reason you should eat here. The real reason you should eat here is because the atmosphere and service make it feel like a cheap table service dinner! We came here because we had no other choice. There was no possible way for us to sit down to a nice dinner with everything we needed to do in our time frame. We would never typically choose to eat here but in light of our circumstances, we made it work. I had a Mediterranean salad which I actually thought was good. They forgot to put the dressing on it so I had to find someone delivering food and he got me a side of dressing. I did not like the hummus served on the side. The pita chips were kind of greasy so I didn't eat those, either. I did order a side of steak fries which this may sound silly but were excellent! Some of the best fries I've ever had. I lovvvvve fries! (Yes, I understand the irony of my greasy comment. Pita chips aren't supposed to be greasy at all. For the record, the fries weren't greasy, either). My Dad and one of my brother's both got the chicken and ribs which they thought was horrible. If you are looking for somewhere quick, this will do. Even though they were very crowded, they took our order and served our food relatively quickly. You order at the counter and they give you a GPS pager sort of thing and someone delivers the food to your table. The condiment area was clean and you were able to get your own condiments, napkins, etc. Be careful what you order and don't expect five star food! read more

This is your typical Disney, herd the cattle in, and herd them out after the food is delivered. Don't get me wrong, this is great crowd control, which Disney is a master of. My wife and I had a salmon salad and fish & chips. I really enjoyed the salmon, quite a generous portion on a bed of greens and quinoa, yummy. The fish and chips, well they are just fish and chips. good, tasty and very well cooked. Not greasy at all. I'll remember the ABC Commissary next time I am at the Hollywood studios. read more

The ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios is the largest indoor counter service restaurant at this park. What this means...you can wait in line in the air conditioning. There are also a large number of tables inside...so you should be able to eat indoors as well. Now for the not so great...people on the Disney dining plan and large tour groups flock here...so you will be in line a while. Also, the fast food offered here is usually mediocre at best, but the same offerings as the outdoor counter service dining area located between tower of terror and rockin roller coaster. It can get very loud between tired hot kids and large groups of teens hanging out to avoid the heat...waiting for their next fast pass. Hollywood Studios has many sit-down dining options, but you will need reservations in advance...so if counter-service is your only option, at least this location will get you indoors to cool off and prepare for your next ride or attraction. read more

Ugh! Why can't well-enough be left alone? As a vegetarian, dining at Disney can pose quite a challenge. Abc's Commissary used to have a wonderful Asian salad. However, their menu has recently been revamped...and not for the better. Think over-priced BBQ options. No thank you. read more

However I will complain now because it's gone. Now the main dish is chicken and ribs. The ribs are pretty tender but messy which I guess is how they're supposed to be but not what I want to deal with when at the parks. The chicken is a rotisserie style. Nothing to write home about. This place gets a bad reputation and I'm not 100% sure why. I dined here last week for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our meal. Yes, I know it's quick service. And yes, I am aware that Hollywood Studios is known for having bad food. Maybe my expectations were low from the start. Lol! My boyfriend said his burger was better here than it was at Sci-Fi! I had the Mediterranean chicken salad and it was really good. The only thing odd was that the flatbread that comes with the salad was cold. I was expecting it to be warm. That being said, the salad is served on top, so maybe they leave it cool for a reason. I definitely would eat at ABC Commissary again. It was one of the better quick service meals that we have had on property. We did have to wait for our food, but they send you to your table with a buzzer, so they bring everything to you when you're ready rather than you having to wait at the counter. read more

One of the indoor quick service at Hollywood Studios. I feel this is the only that is most comfortable to sit at and has A/C. And air conditioning is what you need on a hot day in FL! Wait times can be long here because of that. I've tried the cheeseburger, shrimp platter and seafood platter. Typcial greasy, fried items that isn't healthy. Nothing much wrong or anything special. Just a place to get a quick bite and get on your way to finish out your day at the park. Of course they do have salad options if you are wanting a lighter meal. Beware during busy seasons such has Osbourne's Dancing Lights Spectacle. Crowds will be massive and wait times for getting food may even be longer! read more

The ABC Commissary is your run of the mill Disney quick service stop. There is nothing to write home about regarding their food or drinks, aside from the adorable Olaf cupcakes they are currently serving. We like this quick service because it does offer more traditional options. We are always eating such interesting cuisine in Disney that it's nice to sometimes take a break and have chicken nuggets. The food is in no way exceptional, but this place does have a nice outdoor seating area. The service here is usually extra slow in comparison to other quick services and it does appear to be understaffed. It is a more popular option because it's very convenient and there are basic options for people who like the more traditional food. For chicken nuggets it's pretty good, but if you are looking for more, I recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Just good. If you've every eaten cafeteria style at WDW you know what you are getting, and this is no different. At this particular spot there are about 5 options for "dining" including a cheeseburger and fries with three fried shrimp skewered to the top half of the bun. At the time of my visit, this marvelous lunch was $10.49. And we're all at Disney, so we know, like any airport in America, it offers on a different scale of what is reasonable pricing. This is reasonable for Disney. However, by the time you get your sandwich, or whatever you have ordered, the meal is tepid at best. By the time you find or seat, or locate the folks in your party you sent out to scout ahead, it is cold. You are just eating for sustenance to maintain your adventures in the park you are in. If you can plan, I strongly suggest you look at the restaurants in Hollywood Studios, or any Disney Park, which allow you to make a reservation for a sit down meal with table service. However, time is of the essence sometimes, and plans go out the window when Mickey Mouse shows up. If that's the case, you will find at the ABC Commissary the same quality of food you find at every other café style place in WDW. You can have a cheeseburger, an Asian salad, a curry dish and a chicken blue sandwich. What's on the chicken blue sandwich? What's in the Asian salad? No idea. It's not mentioned on the overhead menu, and by the time you can actually read the overhead menu, you usually have the cashier in sight and oodles of folks behind you, so unless you have food allergies you are going to take a shot with whatever number you utter at the register. And, yes, if you grab a seat in the Commissary you will be subjected to a constant loop of trailers and snippets from ABC shows. The most amusing part to me was watching the promos for and the interviews with the cast of "No Ordinary Family" which has been canceled. Pack a snack, pack a Tums, and just accept this all as part of your Disney vacation. There was a time where all you could get was a hamburger and fries. P.S. I didn't try it, but I saw lots of Darth Vader cupcakes on trays. They looked pretty good. Maybe that will make the trip worthwhile. read more

The ABC Commissary is a great place for a quick lunch during an active day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Very reasonably priced menu with favorites like burgers and fries for those who want such fare and, as well, an Arugula and Quinoa broiled Salmon salad or decent sized Salmon, Quinoa and Couscous plate with steamed broccoli. Drinks, such as Coke, ice teas etc. and dessert are included with the Disney meal plan, I must mention that salmon, which has a very delicate flavor, is among the best of fish when done right, and the easiest fish to ruin when not done right. It is rare form to do it right when in a fast-food environment. And then to pair it with arugula and quinoa in a deliciously dressed salad? Yeah, they've been there; they've done that. The ABC Commissary is a nice little place to take a rest from Disney Hollywood Studios, grab some healthy and delicious fast food and pour over the maps to see what ride or exhibit you want to do next. read more

Nice and easy quick service spot for a fast bite. Quality and quantity is just about average for $10-$12 meals. Only two vegetarian entrees-- and they're bland salads. But I won't let that affect their rating because there are numerous fish options and a steak dish. Huge BONUS for the Kosher selections! On our last visit, we ordered a Kosher meal just because we wanted to try it out. Obviously, the kosher meals are stored in a freezer and heated in a special Kosher microwave used only for the Kosher dishes. So for a microwaved meal, not bad at all! Even on a crowded day, the line moves fast and there's always somewhere to sit. Interior ambiance reminds me of a Denny's. Fun clips of ABC shows play on overhead monitors while you eat. Tip: For a heartier vegetarian meal, walk two minutes down the street to Pizza Planet. Order a veggie pizza to go, which comes with a Caesar salad. Good prices for what they offer. I ordered a New York steak strip and it came with green beans and fries for $11.99. That's really good considering this is inside Disneys Hollywood Studios. The meat was tender and the sides were pretty decent as well. I also tried their chicken sandwich and it was really good too. The bread bun was really soft and the chicken was seasoned well. I'm not sure why of the average reviews but I'd recommend while eating in the theme parks. read more

Things have really changed when a Disney facility has deteriorated to the point where they have roaches. After waiting on the most ridiculous line queue I have ever seen, we were greeted half way through our meal by roaches crawling up and down the wall next to our table. While taking pictures, an employee came over to apologize and try to exterminate by spraying fluid and using a napkin to catch the bugs. Disgusting to think this is what Disney provides after spending over 500.00 to enter the park and over 70.00 for 5 hamburgers. read more

Disney is expensive, we wanted a quick bite to eat that wasn't at one of the pricey sit down restaurants inside the park. We choose ABC Commissary. The price was typical for a Disney food court - both me and my best friend ordered chicken breast tenders with fries ($11). The meals were hot, and tasty again, this is a food court, not a five start restaurant. They do provide the sauces you need to enjoy your meal - ketchup, mayo, mustard, honey mustard. The staff comes by to clean up your tray and trash. All in all a good experience for a quick bite. read more

The ABC Commissary has improved over the past year, dramatically. This place used to be a horror, but it has definitely become better with time. We were visting WDW during record cold temps so eating indoors was a must. This place qualified. Other than that, yuck. When you visit WDW you have to completely shift your mindset around meals, IMO. Counter service eating is absolutely NOT for pleasure or any kind of enjoyment. It is simply to put calories into your body to keep the hunger sensation at bay. If you happen to come across something that offers any degree of nutritional value or perhaps something that actually tastes above average - BONUS!! ABC Commissary may as well hand out calorie shakes or bars via a window with a people-moving belt conveying hungry passengers by. Think WALL E. This is essentially what eating a burger from this place is. Our party of 4 had 3 hamburgers and a chicken burger. I'd opt for the chicken if I were forced to eat here again. On second thouht, had I read the reviews here at Yelp, I would have ordered the curry. I was tempted and came really, really close but frankly, I was frightened at the thought of the Disney version of a curry. Considering what they do to simple burgers, who knows what kind of Frankenstein concoction they would come up to serve as curry. With the exception of Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, the ABC Commissary is exactly like every other counter-service grease-slinging dining experience is like. A PBJ from home would be more satisfying. Fast food in a large air conditioned venue. Not so quick though, as it took 9 minutes to get 2 kids meals! Ordering is easy enough, it's the getting out with your tray that's difficult. The queue lines are very narrow and there's no clear signs as to where to exit. Serving your usual "cast of characters": chicken sandwich, cheeseburger and some type of salad "Asian" salad . Then, there are the not so usual: chicken curry and fish and chips. Adult meals are all around the $8.00 -$9.00 mark. Kids menu consisted of a cheeseburger, chicken nuggets and a Turkey sandwich with either the healthy options of applesauce, carrot sticks, grapes, apple juice box and small water. Non healthy options for sides are french fries, chocolate chip cookie and fountain beverage. Kids entrees come with 2 sides and are $4.99 Opted for 2 kids meals for small one and me. Cheeseburger was a nasty cold brown puck of mystery meat. Chicken nuggets were salty fried blobs of a mushy, chicken-like substance. Ewww. On a positive note, the fries were very tasty! Stay away from the chocolate chip cookie as it's a packaged, tasteless circle that is masquerading as a baked treat. If you need a cool place to sit for a while and sip a beverage, this is the place. But based on the kid's meals alone, I'd go elsewhere. read more

Quick service dining while on Disney property is pretty vanilla if you think about it. You got yer chix fingers, burgers, pizza and fries and that's about it. At Hollywood Studios' ABC Commissary you can find pretty much the same thing, with a couple of interesting exceptions. Set up like every other quick service platform, you go to the register after scanning the big board for what you like--place your order and then walk up to the counter, grab it and head to a seat. With selections like Seafood Platter (all fried) Fish platter (same) Chicken Bleu sandwich Asian Salad and the 1/3rd lb. Angus cheeseburger with fried shrimp, it was nice to see something a little out of the ordinary. I got the Angus cheeseburger. It came with lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles while the bun is topped off with a spear holding down 3 fried shrimp. The wife got the Chicken Bleu sandwich, which came with everything the burger did, minus the shrimp. Both sandwiches came with a dressing, kind of like thousand island. There wasn't much of it on there, so was kinda a non factor. The burger was delicious. For quick service standards it was well above the norm. Juicy, burg, fresh, crips veggies on top. The shrimp was OK...tasteless really--so the tartar sauce for dipping came in handy. The Chicken Bleu was awful. Literally it was just a mouthful of substance. No taste whatsoever. Luckily they had BBQ and honey mustard on tap at their condiment bar so there was a healthy amount of dipping going on...trying to create any semblance of taste. Honestly, you'd think it would have a rich bleu cheese taste or something like that given the name. Nothing, just a mouthful of bland meat. The chicken breast was very juicy though...I will give them that--but the sandwich overall was a Bluto Blutarsky:. 0.0 Prices were typical for property, like 10 bucks for the burger and sandwich each, give or take a buck. This is a fairly standard quick-serve restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios. You enter, wait in line while reading digital menus, order, and then move ahead to the counter to pick up your food. It's not the best, but it's certainly not the worst, either. The restaurant might be the biggest in Hollywood Studios, and its comfortably air-conditioned. On my last trip there weren't enough staff out cleaning up tables, so turnover was a little low. While the food included standard hamburgers and fries, I was pleasantly surprised by some recent additions, which included a quinoa salad topped with salmon. Only complaint is that it was full of olives, which I never would have known from the menu. Still, the ability to order salmon instead of chicken on other salads as well - and the asian salad was quite delicious - was a nice change. read more

We ate here yesterday for lunch. One star for the screwup with the multiple orders. Tickets in consecutive order somehow were skipped over. We waited over 30 minutes to receive our food and some type of apology. The manager comped only one lady's meal because she missed her fast pass.
