AMAZING!!! Remember the keymaker in Matrix? Amateur. This woman is the Zen Master of Keymaking! Sick of making multiple trips to Home Depot because the key duplicating machine can never get it right? Got a weird key you can't get a blank for? This is the place. I've been impressed with her speed and accuracy for basic home keys, but today she really shone. I ride my motorcycle daily, and my Givi top box (basically a trunk) makes that possible. Thing is, I've had the box so long (longer than the bikes I've mounted it to!) I lost the spare key. So it was time to fix that. I ordered the only remotely correct blank from Revzilla, my favorite Givi dealer. But apparently Givi had changed the key blank over the years. She took one glance at it and said "This isn't going to work." Then she showed me why, and proceeded to poke around some of her many, many blanks. She found one that would work, and cut it. Flawlessly. It's so great to have such a talented professional so close to work. Even if it's not convenient, make the trip to ABC. You won't regret it. read more

In a word, this guy was awesome. I locked myself out at 3:30am, called ABC at 3:38am, said he would here in 10 min and he was (I'm in downtown la). I've locked myself out once before so I thought for sure the lock would have to be completely replaced (like the last time), but this guy got my door open in a matter of seconds. I was in my apartment by 3:55am. I've never had a locksmith work so fast--I was truly shocked. I'm embarrassed to say I almost didn't use him...when I first called I had a hard time understanding him. He was asking for my address and I kept giving it and he kept getting it wrong. This man is a key magician! I misplaced my key and was locked out of my apt but I was able to get the master key from my leasing office to get a key made. Since I was late making it into the leading office and they needed their key back within the same hour before they closed, I had to rush out immediately to the locksmith. When I got to this place, it was still rush hour traffic DTLA so parking was limited. I parked quickly on the street right outside the shop and ran in thinking I'd just drop off my key and circle the block for parking while he was making it. I have locked myself out of my home about 6 times over the years... In the Valley and Downtown. I got a different lock smith every time but no one has compared. I called 4 places at 5 pm before anyone would agree to come. Himan (Hee man?) said he'd be there in 15 minutes. And he was. I looked up and saw him running down the street. My husband took him in, I walked a block to get cash and by the time I returned they were already inside. My husband told me it took him 2 minutes. He was also cheaper than anyone I've ever used ($65 compared to $125 to $180 I've paid before - for my lock anyway) and had the most sincere smile. A truly genuine human being. Called them to install a lock on my door they put it in so badly I had to call my contractor to fix it and he isn't a locksmith $130.00 down the drain and I learned a lesson !!!the lock they used was cheap and could be easily picked. Locked myself out if the apt in dtla at 8 am on sat with a plane to catch later that day. Called around and no one was picking up except ABC. He said he'd be there in 10 min and he was. He ran there carrying a heavy tool bag. Then because the security fob was locked inside we couldn't take the elevator so he walked up nine flights of stairs while I helped him with the heavy tool bag. 30 minutes after I first called him I was back inside. I've had to call the locksmith three times this past year. ABC unlocked my door in approximately ten minutes. Considering the past two locksmiths struggled for more than an hour, I was impressed. However, my key has not worked since ABC picked the lock. I called to see if the locksmith would stop by to rotate the lock back into place, but he said it would be an additional $75! read more

This gentleman is an all star. I lost both my spare keys to my vehicle. Completely out of options I decided to give this locksmith a call. He created two keys from scratch so that I could once again drive my car. It took close to 3 hours to complete the job. He was very convenient as he also dropped the keys off to my job after he finished working on the vehicle's locks. He is a total life saver he was. Now I have my car key back and an additional spare!
