Best. Car Key Service. Ever. I have a Ford Focus SE 2015 and I needed to cut and program 2 new keys to the car. Oscar was so helpful and responsive and was super friendly in person. He clearly knows what he's doing and really wants to help the customer. His prices are SUPER reasonable (way better then anywhere else) and he really goes above and beyond to make sure everything works. Possibly one of the most genuine people I've met who was willing to help me with my car key needs. I actually didn't need a key but more of a spare remote and Oscar was able to help me get two remotes for a great price. He was professional via text and got to me right away. Our timing didn't match up at first but we just communicated and he was accommodating. We met up and it seemed like there was a hiccup with the remotes but in the end Oscar attempted to find every solution to get the remotes working and in the end it did! So I'm so very thankful he did anything and everything to help me get my spare remotes to work. Highly recommend Oscar for any of your needs. After losing our spare key to our honda civic I looked up quite a few places to get a 2 keys cut and programmed and Cali Key responded the quickest and the best price. Unfortunately an hour before meeting up with Oscar, our only key was locked in the car, but we were able to reschedule our appointment. Met up with Oscar and he was quick to work. He tried to copy the original but he said it was worn down and was able to get the original key cylinder and make the ideal cut. It was quick and he tested multiple times to make sure the key was functioning. He's a super honest guy, just trying to hook everyone up. He knows that other locksmiths charge significantly more, but he keeps his prices down because he wants to hook everyone up. Highly recommended. Will come back if I ever need an extra key. read more

Amazing! I called Oscar to take my car over to him but unfortunately i had car trouble and had to head back home to scan for the issue. I let Oscar know about this and he said he could come over since he was going to be in a nearby neighborhood. So we agreeded and he came even through it was now dark and in a matter of 20 or so minutes he had my new fob programed AND key cut! That is how a professional does business on all levels. needed key made for my Tacoma, as I lost my keys . Weekend call . response was quick. And kept in communication with me on all questions I had and eta. Very quick and respectful service . This is one very late review but I can't let this go. I don't write reviews much. I have to write one about Oscar. He gave me the best quote around and even went lower when he realized I bought the blanks myself. When he says he wants to save you money, he really means it. He was communicative about his ETA and how long the programming of the new keys for my Chevy Cruze will take. He's super cool conversing with me (I was in the cool shade of trees while he was in the sweltering 90-degree heat of my car). He has excellent warranty on the keys he does because each programming is different for every car. He warned me sometimes it doesn't take so he left me his personal cell so he can fix it ASAP. But 2 months later my keys work perfectly just like the originals. Love Oscar of Cali Keys! Call him and he will not disappoint. He exemplifies what good business practices should be! read more

He was also the most responsive out of the other people that I reached out to while being the most transparent about product data and services. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Eden was able to discuss the project in broad strokes via text first, and didn't insist on a face to face meeting. (I really appreciated this because it saves everyone a lot of time.) Once we aligned on the general direction Eden came out for measurements and prepared a final quote. He and Koby (sp?) suggested a really beautiful door and we ordered it on the spot. A couple weeks later the door arrived in perfect condition and was installed within a couple of hours - and it looks GORGEOUS! A few neighbors have even stopped by to say so. I'm so glad I took their design advice! Eden followed up afterwards just to make sure I was happy with the final result. Seeing and hearing his assessment I felt comfortable with his diagnosis and his solution. When he returned in a couple of days with the parts, he quickly implemented his solution, and thoroughly tested his fix to the extent where I felt very comfortable. This included identifying existing remote gate controllers that were coded incorrectly. And he held true to his verbal cost estimate from the other day. When asked about replacing another gate, his response was that it was in good shape and there was no need to replace it. This response just contributed to how I describe him.

I lost the only keyless remote entry remote for my Escalade & after having to spend over $100 just to get the remote the dealer wanted to charge me $225 to program it. I contacted Cali Keys for a price quote & Oscar quoted me a price but also told me that it was quite simple & that I could do it myself. He even sent me the link for the youtube video to watch so I could do it. I did & it took all of a minute, tops. In this day & age that kind of service is almost unheard of. I appreciate it more than I could ever say. Oscar was great, went out of his way to help me & saved me money. Oscar is very honest, straight forward and also is a great communicator. He came all the way from downtown LA to west San Fernando Valley and while trying to program the car key, he realized that my original key had an atypical board and the new one could not be programmed in a regular way. He took on the responsibility to go back and two days later after he ordered a matching board came back and finished the job. despite the distance and sky-high gas prices, he never asked me for more than the original quoted amount. Oscar is f***ing a , the absolute! best pricing YOU WILL FIND. I had a key already cut from somebody off eBay only thing is, it DID NOT have the transponder it needed to be able to program toy car. So I called around a few places and they all pretty much wanted the same thing which is like 200 to 250 even though I already had the key cut ridiculous but I stumbled across Cali keys (Oscar) and I'm so glad I did because I only paid $85 to get the transponder I need and to have it program to my car. read more
