Katie is knowledgeable and helpful - she tested my water for free and gave me some good advice on salt vs chlorine, as well as replastering which we were considering. They helped me with an uncooperative ladder as well. They are the kind of place that won't sell you on something you don't need and they stand behind what they sell. They are my go-to guys on pool questions.

We purchased a home with a pool that was always serviced in the past by A and S. We called in May…read moreof 2019 to schedule a pool opening and we were told that they were short staffed and not taking anymore new clients. I explained to them that technically we are not a new account, that we just purchased the home and our pool was always serviced by them, but i was told that they would not be able to help us, and to call at the end of the season to schedule a pool closing. We then contacted Universal Pools who was able to schedule a pool opening in a matter of a couple of days (we received A+ service from them). We were still hoping that A and S would be able to take on our account because they knew the history of our pool, so at the end of the season, we called them to schedule a closing and we were told the exact same thing, that they were unable to service us because "they are still down a technician" and to give them a call in February 2020 to schedule the pool opening for the summer of 2020. I called today (02/04/2020) and was told "they are not taking any new clients who did not have their pool opened or closed by them last year (which they were not willing to do),that they are still short staffed and no one wants to work". I called back to speak with the owner to inform him of this issue, and the lady that answered snickered at me, and was told that he is going to tell me the same exact thing. I did speak with the owner by the name of Stephen Mantz who was equally as useless, and told me that all pool companies are having difficulty finding workers. I explained to him that no other pool company that i contacted had any issues with scheduling. i'm really not sure how a business expects to stay up and running when they are turning away new customers, or in our case, a pool that has been services by them for years. Please do yourself a favor and beware before giving this business any of your money. There are so many more knowledgeable, friendly, pool companies out there that are happy to service existing accounts, and take on new customers without any issue, like Universal Pools. Shame on you A and S!

TERRIBLE!!! I had my fireplace installed on November 18. They left the bottom part of the fireplace…read moreexposed, when it needed to be covered with drywall (picture attached). They didn't let me know they needed to come back to finish, and I never heard back from them. I tried many times to call them but their phone answering system is horrible, and you can never get someone to return your call. I had to physically go to the store to talk to someone about finishing the job. I spoke with Chris, who gave me the round around that they were so backed up from the snow storm but will contact me to schedule the job. I never heard back from him. I had to eventually go back to the store in person cause again my phone messages were being ignored. Chris repeatedly ignored my concerns and refused to reschedule the completion of the project. I had to talk with someone else. Brandon and Blair were the ones to finally understand my concerns and get the job scheduled. It was completed May 19. Total time elapsed is 6 MONTHS! Chris should be fired for his repeated disregard and ignoring of a customer paying over $10,000 for a fireplace.

We cancelled our 10+ year relationship with our current pool person based on aquas verbal commitment. We called several times 7/1 to confirm. No response. Finally got a response 7/6. They said they were too busy and wouldn't do our pool. So we dropped our current person based on their verbal commitment and left us high and dry mid season with no phone call to us, no apology. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. Not a reliable company. Who does that to a 76 year old?

I called Kaizen Painter's office and was greeted by Cindy, who is professional and knowledgeable. I asked if we could get someone out to look at our job and discuss it with us. To my surprise, I was given an appointment for the following day. Dave, the owner, met with us, measured the areas to be painted and we decided his company provided everything we were looking for. The services of an interior decorated was provided to us. The decorator gave us some good ideas and helped us select colors. A date was scheduled for the painting crew to arrive. Three painters arrived at designated time, were respectful of our home and loved our pets, who we kept out of their way. These men were real professionals. Their painting skills were unbelievable. They tape nothing and the results were amazing. They were so good, we gave them pizza for lunch! The finished in 2 days instead of the predicted 3 1/2 days. I can't say enough about this experience.
