    I had a very positive experience with this company. A neighbor that had used them for several…read moreyears recommended them to me. I needed their staff to evaluate the pool equipment to see if anything needed service or replacing before we put the house on the market. I secretly held my breath knowing this could be an opportunity for a company to make a little extra cash, especially since I am a pool "newbie" and could be fooled. Imagine my relief when slates in the filter and a valve were all that needed replacing...to the tune of less that $300, including the service call. The technician continues to service the pool on a weekly basis. It looks so pretty when he is done!

It was scheduled for 6/1. When no one showed, I called the company and it turns out I was never actually put on the schedule. I was told someone would reach out to me the next day. No one did in the morning, so I called back this afternoon and was told I could be put on the schedule for 6/8, another week from my original scheduled date. When I asked to be seen earlier the woman said their technician called out sick the day before and they didn't have availability. She then put me on hold, or at least thought she did, and then screamed "Who the f*** put her on the schedule? Who put her on the f***ing schedule?" When she took me off of "hold", she then told me 6/8 was the earliest she could schedule me and there was nothing that could be done. I understand mistakes happen, but not taking accountability for a mistake your employee made is what rubbed me the wrong way. I now have to go an additional week with a system that's inoperable before someone will even come out and look at the system (not even fix it). I would not recommend this company to anyone and will not use them in the future if my system has issues.

    I do not recommend this company. They do not value your…read moretime, and the entire experience was a frustrating waste of mine. First, I was required to drive over an hour to their showroom for a completely unnecessary appointment--just to be shown pool options that could have easily been reviewed at home via email or a catalog. After that unproductive meeting, I was told someone needed to come out to evaluate my property. I rearranged my work schedule for this appointment, which was set between 7:30-8:30 AM. No one showed up. I received a voicemail at 8:30 saying he would now likely arrive between 10:30-11:30. That's a 3-4 hour delay with no prior notice. Since I had to be at work by 11, I called him back to say that wouldn't work. When I reached out to the owner to express my frustration, he was dismissive and rude, downplaying the situation by saying the rep was "just going to be a little late." A four-hour delay is not a minor inconvenience--especially after I changed my work schedule to accommodate them. This company clearly lacks professionalism and respect for clients' time. I would look elsewhere.

Our radiant pool was partially installed last fall, they returned 2 weeks ago to complete the installation. We received a cheap tarp to cover the pool thru the winter (we were promised a pool cover then told that a cheap tarp was the "pool cover"). There was no "pool school" which was needed as this is our first pool. They men that finished the installation just dumped 2 bags of shock chemicals directly into the pool and said it would be clean in 24 hours-that's it!- and left. We were missing pool vacuum that was ordered and paid for and not delivered. Now had to hire a professional pool cleaning company. Basically once they've been paid their service is awful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    So Again I'm leaving another review for CLEARWATER SPA & POOLS OF BEL AIR MD…read more whoever came to clean my pool today didn't vacuum it to waste like I told them to so now the pool looks worst. I know they didn't vacuum to waste because the water was hirer then it was when he first got there bc I had the hose in know it would lose water if he vacuumed to waste. You need to send someone who knows what they are doing not someone who thinks they know what they are doing because I know the person who came to clean my pool was new last year so he still needs more training to be cleaning pools on his own. This is ridiculous. I'm spending all this money for what to have my pool green coming up to a month bc it's gonna at least take another week to clear this up. I'm unhappy with you guys and I'm not going to use you guys if my pool is still green in 2 weeks this is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE OMG!!! You really need to treat your 20 year customers a lot better than this!!! And Thank You for ruining my weekend ...

    I would not recommend this company for the following reasons g reasons:…read morePoor quality workmanship ( I still have spots on the bottom of my pool from improper cleaning; unqualified technicians ( I had to replace my pool Heater for salt water twice without warranty because of improper installation; poor service /problem solving ( spend 2 months last summer trying g to find a leak that was cause by improper installation of the light that they installed for $500! AND LASTLY, their customer service is horrendous - unresponsive, broken appointments, finger pointing, lack of management oversight, etc. THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND WORST POOL SERVICE COMPANIES IVE DEALT WITH IN 25 years!

    I hired them to open my large pool of 33,000 gallons of water. 2 workers came yo my home to open…read moreit. They removed the cover , saw the pump motor worked and checked to see the cartridges in the filter system, I was told they sweep a little. The whole process took 1 1/2!hrs. Need less to say the pool water was terrible and smelled. They said the put some shock in. First, the filtration system was not cleaning at all so I , put in an over amount of shock. It did take the smell away but still was not clean. Had my son recheck both top skimmers and found a plug was left so the water could not flow to the filter. Now after a few weeks I was able to get the cloudiness out of most of the water. Shock, the cleaning jets on the pool wall still had the plugs in them. So total plugs never removed were 6. No wonder I could never get the water clear. I paid a total of $575 because of my in-ground cleaning system , which could not work properly until I removed all the 6 plugs, which should have been done when they opened it. I was totally surprised this morning with a text from the owner of BMA pools. He had just come back from vacation and just read my text to him. He apologized for any of my inconvenience and sent me a refund of $200. If you ever get a company to service your pool , please ask how much time they will spend doing so and how much real experience the worker have doing your pool. E
