I'd really give this school 3.5 stars. I almost didn't go here because my first call to get information here the guy I spoke with, who I assume was Rick Weber, was very short, rushed, slightly irritated, and not interested in discussing information with me. A few weeks went by before I decided to go up to the school in person. I spoke with a receptionist who put me on the phone with Dr Cindy, she answered my questions, I paid over the phone to her, and the receptionist gave me my books. Pros: A. I like that it is "online"- really it's not much online, they give you books and audio CD's; But I love that I was able to study at my own pace because I was working 2 jobs at the time. B. The quizzes and test were convenient. After completing, I emailed my answer sheet and Rick graded them and emailed my results promptly, within the next half hour or so. C. When I got puzzled on a section, I was able to email Cindy and she was very helpful at explaining in detail my concerns. Cons: I knew NOTHING about real estate before taking this class. So when I completed everything, I got a generic email saying Thanks for using our program, see you in a year. I was left with a "now what?" Feeling. I didn't know how to go about finding a broker, and any questions I had for them after I passes the test with them were unanswered. It's like after you take their class, they dont want to talk to you anymore about anything not do they care to answer questions. I had two friends who went to other schools at the same time as me, not online, and they were set up to know what to do once their exams were passed. They even got the opportunity to meet with brokers throughout their schooling. *When you do an online course here, you don't get that privilege.* Overall, I passes the exam, I figured everything out and things are going GREAT for me. It's one of the BEST decisions I've made. This school provides you with all the information you need to passes the exam and get licensed. I would recommend it for people who are familiar with the real estate field. If you need "hands on" help or any kind of guidance throughout, I'd suggest going someplace else where your instructor is willing to communicate with you and guide you. read more

I signed up for The MA licensing class at ABC and Andy Consoli, the owner, happened to be in the office that morning. He and his secretary, Kim were very pleasant and accommodating. I was very enthusiastic about starting right away and they got me set up immediately. They have a separate room with several computers that you work at your own pace. If ever I had technical difficulties, they were available to help right away. They also were super accommodating with temperature control (I am always cold!). There was a fellow student who had a "sniffing tic" that was making me super anxious and I could not focus. Kim suggested that I use one of the private computers in her office. Perfect. Excellent service. Andy would sometimes come into the classroom and offer goodies from his "secret stash" of candy and was so pleasant and full of energy. The videos were well done and Andy is HILARIOUS! I would find myself BELLY-LAUGHING in class and since we had headphones on because everyone was learning at their own pace. I got a few looks that quickly turned into "Oh, I know what you are laughing about" as others began to go through the program as well... ABC was great with encouraging practice testing right on-site and then when I mastered the practice test, I took and passed the official MA test (on the first try) on Valentine's day and then subsequently, the NH test in August. Outstanding school! Amazing Instructor! Amazing staff! It's better than being in class because the Instructor is ALWAYS there and eager to assist. No gas, no traffic, no commute. I learned at my own pace where I had time to absorb the information and LEARN it versus MEMORIZE it (this will prove to be crucial when taking the State exam)!..and by the way, I passed the State exam on the first attempt. The tuition fees are minimal and reasonable considering what I got in return. The Instructor is very knowledgeable and professional. The staff comes across as though they are waiting for your important call. ABC Real Estate School really "ANSWERS THE PHONE" and this is very important when you're working alone, not sure of yourself and afraid. They will patiently walk you through your road blocks and pitfalls. They will make you understand. Real Estate courses are not easy, but ABC Real Estate School made it easy for me. I felt just like I was in class, surrounded by students with the Instructor right there at the head of the class. I would recommend reading other material other than what is given. This has the substance to pass the test but do not only review what is recommended. It will not help you. The audio is good. The video classes are only up to chapter 5. 14 hours of courses is a stretch. Please do yourself a favor and read law over 119a and use that with this course and you will pass. read more

Inquired about classes, price was not bad. However, the gentleman that helped me was very short and rude. Motivating me to look elsewhere.

EEEEEeeeek! With Allied Schools in CA, I studied and ACED the Broker exam! With ABC in Nevada... I studied... and I'm lucky if I knew 40% of the questions. The books are horrible, the on-line stuff barely works, and nothing they have is intuitive. Note: I've already taken, passed, and ACED the CA exams with Allied schools, so I am not new to the process. Don't use ABC for preparing for your NV State Exam!!! read more

I have been licensed in the state of NV as a real estate agent since 2005. I have done all of my CE classes with ABC Real Estate School including my Quad-Ethics course. I am very impressed with their customer service and the fact that they remembered me when I called them to get info on CE for my sister the following year. The courses were clear to understand and easy to navigate through. Unfortunately CE is often something real estate agents procrastinate on right up to the deadline of renewal but knowing that this school is so easy to enroll and complete all the required hours, even at last minute, I have sent EVERY co worker or agent I know to this school at any mention of additional license education. Anyways...Plain and simple this school gets an A+ from me for all of my license education needs! The people are great, the courses are clear and affordable which ultimately saves me a lot of headache at time of renewal so I can spend my time helping my clients and make more money! read more

Really great course for real estate licensing. Very easy to understand. They also provide you with CDs to listen to, which are also very helpful. The staff goes above and beyond. I have taken other schools and they did not even compare. Highly recommend if you want to pass! read more

I'm so surprised that this school is used in Nevada at all. I was a Realtor for many years prior to going back into Real Estate. I also have always been a great student and I'd probably be a life long student if I could ... lol... but truly - The books are such bad tools to truly understand how to pass your test. I am saddened and shocked that such poor examples of the writing of this book, was actually published as a teaching tool with an objective of passing a national standardized test! Nice People ... But the book? Not a writer ... not a teacher ... probably written by an attorney or a Broker trying to "give too much" of his/herself ... maybe a history teacher turned realtor ... but not an academic writer ... The BOOKS = Not passing your test!!!! ----- Not only written in poor form and WITHOUT actual RE Vocabulary List (index in back extremely incomplete) - But also, A ton of un-needed information, not to mention information that is contradictory to itself and incorrect information in general (some mostly typos or lack of attention - where and who was the editor?) It falls short of giving you the information you need to actually pass your test ... I must use this school to get my certificate ... but I've ordered 2 other books from Amazon for about $50 that are soooo much better for actually passing your test. No school really teaches you how to actually "do real estate" or "become a successful agent" ... that is something that you will learn from your Broker, or by some other helpful person... while you're thrown into the deep end. I was just thrown into the deep end and I was extremely successful for over a decade (and not just during the boom) - of course RE is a passion and everyone tends to do well at something they have a passion for ... I had to let my licence go when given a terminal diagnosis ... that I have now beaten ... but I am so so so sorry I chose this school ... very nice people but horrible writing of the book ... In my opinion ... anyone new to real estate, would need a lot of help (more than just reading the books or using online) - which is how I passed the first time in 2 weeks .... DON"T TAKE this school ... I wish I could make a different suggestion ... but good luck. read more

I called ABC Real Estate School today & asked the secretary, who was a gentleman, that answered the phone about their realestate classes. He said they do them on line so I asked him did they have any given by an instructor & he said they have been doing on line classes for 20yrs and I just need to be motivated. I said I work better with an instructor because when online it's sometimes hard to be motivated. He rudely told me than u will never make it as a realtor and thanks for calling & good bye. First of all, he doesn't know my situation or me to talk to me like that, if I was thinking of changing my mind to do the online classes, I would never enroll n this school and he obviously need some customer service skills because if I was an under cover boss, he would not be representing my company. read more
