The individual (I forget his name!) was very pleasant and extremely helpful. We decided to switch from a 20ft truck to a 10ft truck and it was not an issue. Drop off was just as smooth. Adriana, the check in lady, doesn't know how to read apparently, and is the most unfriendly person we've ever met. Taking pictures of drivers license with your private work phone is illegal. She automatically assumed that we were going to steal the moving truck. Most bizarre experience ever... They were unfriendly from the start , but we had no choice but to go through them. This place is bad news ....the owner William sells car that can't be registered ...he is shady n gives faulty paperwork

Took the day off from work reserved a truck and they rented it to somebody else. Went down to pickup my reservation, then was lied to about it saying that the truck isn't back yet when we called back for an update-they said we weren't here on time to pick up the truck, when the fact is we waited 30 minutes in the lobby and there were no truck rentals going out at the time. These people are friendly liars that is not a well run business at all. read more

William goes out of his way to help you. He has terrific customer service and is genuinely a great person. I wish there were more people like him, to include myself. He even checked up to see if I was ok on my move out of state. The only thing I could see someone complain if they don't know him. Is it might be hard to get him on the phone but that is because he is probably help five other people at the same time. From the first phone call to the drop off...the entire process was easy-peasy! I called many places for a last minute U-Haul & ABC Rentals was the only location that was open on Sunday, which was a huge relief! William was super friendly & informative on the phone & while I was renting the truck & George was personable & fast for the drop off! $19.95/day for the 10 footer + $.89/mile + gas. You do have to have $100 deposit also though... either on your credit card or cash. If I ever need another uhual, I'll be back here for sure! read more

ABC Rentals - Inside office - Truck Rental Near Me - Fairfield, California

I rented a one way truck from them in Benicia. They were rushing the process and they dont go over the truck with you. That was my mistake because the mileage was wrong. I forgot to look and take a picture of the beginning mileage so I was being charged for extra miles that I didnt use. I spoke to the gal in Fairfield about this before I returned the truck and she told me that I'm not going to get charged and that she would fix it. A few days after I saw that I got charged for the extra miles which was a ridiculous number. I called them back from the contact number on the receipt and the same woman answered the phone. When I told her about my problem and reminded her of what she told me before, she made the excuse that she is not infront of the computer, that she is busy at the moment, and had me text her at a number with my info and complaint. She promised that she will take care of it and get back to me the same day. She never did. I wonder if she even gave me a real cell phone number. So I called uhaul directly and they fixed that problem and I got my refund. But then I got another charge from this rental place and they charged me $20 per mile for the extra miles I made. They told me it would be around $1 per extra mile. The receipt says $0.40 per mile.They also dont have a number to contact the person in Benicia. Now I have to call uhaul again to fix this problem. Be careful renting from this place and watch the charges on your card, read the receipt carefully including the mileage out when you rent the truck and take a picture of the current mileage and gas and any damage to the truck before you drive it out!! read more

The lady that help me was great. Very relaxed and helpful. I needed a 24 footer to move a few things from one house in town to another and she was great. Very helpful on phone to in person. I even called to inform her the status of the truck and to say thank you. Small hole in the wall rental place, but they will take care of you. Looks can be deceiving. read more

William is the man! He's so honest, kind and flexible when helping you with your rental. Logistically moving is never easy - I was initially supposed to pick up my trailer Thursday but my hitch needed to be installed which was rescheduled. Even though I paid and initiated the rental, William put things on hold, reversed the payment and rest assured me that I would not be charged until I was ready to go. William worked with me to ensure that my trailer was reserved and just talking to him made me feel so secure and comfortable whilst planning this whole move. He even met with me in person at night to adjust the fitment on the trailer to my car. He provided excellent service and he is all around good people - the world needs more folks like him. We moved around the area during memorial weekend and could not find a place that was opened where we could return our rental truck. UNTIL we found ABC Rentals! We called and we were warmly greeted and helped by Adriana. She was willing to stay open a tad bit later to wait for us to arrive. dropped off a 5x9 uhaul trailer on time and was told they were going to check me out at time of drop off instead they check me out at end of day and charged me for a whole other day.said they were going to refund me but never did.I called back to check on refund the guy answered the phone I explained to him what was goin on and he hung up on me.this is a shady business and they do not take care of their customers definitely do not recommend going here for any services they do not stand behind their word. read more

I reserved a U-Haul trailer selecting ABC Rentals as the pick-up location. I then did the online check-in process which included paying for the trailer rental in full. I received a call from ABC Rentals stating that they had given my trailer to someone else - despite being already paid for in full - and asked if I still needed one. When I said the trailer is already paid for, of course I still need one!, the sent me to a dealer 11 miles away (one way) to get the trailer from them. I cannot recommend a company that gives away equipment to other customers that has already been paid for by the person holding the original reservation. read more

I am a happy camper. ABC Rentals was open on Labor Day. The van I reserved was ready at my agreed upon pick up time. There was a small hiccup, but because of their great customer service I was on my way to moving my items on time. The van has a smooth ride which was important because I was moving a 125 gallon fish tank. On that very hot day, it was great the ac worked well. It was easy, both in reserving and returning the van.
