Easy to access my stuff when I need to. Very clean facility. Staff were very helpful with all my storage needs.

He is unreal. I have pictures of the damage in my unit due to fire-water damage that he DID NOT advise me of. He doesn't like my son which has nothing to do with me. He stated I didn't give current address which is a lie. He is upset because I told him I wanted his attorney that told him he didn't violate. He is not honest. I'm retired law enforcement and pretty h Good judge of character. He is afraid of my son(he told me) because my son won't let him continue to harass him. He better be careful because he could find himself and company he works for sued for not being honest. Luckily I'll be moving out soon as leaving the area (hopefully if my health permits) I stand with one star. He is not a nice or honest person. My son should file a harassment suit against as he has a lot of documentation. I DO NOT recommend this place as long as he works there. read more

John the manager is awesome. He has been very accommodating in allowing after hours access that I needed because my project sites were down deeper in the Bay Area. The facility is easy to navigate, and I never felt my stuff was in any danger of theft or water damage. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, I had initially called after hours (didn't realize they were closed, though) and I left a message. John not only called me back on his own time, but opened back up to show me a couple units and rented me one that same night! CORPORATE AMERICA, ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION??? This place has boat storage and self storage. The gate are protected with coded access. The place is pretty big too. You won't have a problem getting a unit. read more

This is my first review I've written so here it goes. I give this storage center five stars for multiple reasons so I'll start with..... The Price. I don't know the prices of all their units but as the smallest unit offered goes it is either the same but usually better than any other storage unit I've seen in town or anywhere for that matter. For 30 bucks a month you really can't beat that. The unit was indoor and there is a trolley you can use to move things around. I am estimating here but the size of the unit was approximately 5 by 5. The cool thing though is the it must have been a good 10 or 12 feet high. So you could just stack things and I never had a problem. They also have pretty good gate hours. I want to say they allowed access at about 8am until 8pm. And i should mention that there were multiple times that i stayed past gate hours and a few times the manager would come from the comfort of his home (i'm assuming) to check on and see what i was doing, but only when i would take forever to leave like by about 9pm. And it wasn't like he would come on in all pissed, he was really friendly and lenient with me. He would just remind me to try and leave on time. He is a cool guy to talk to. No complaints about the customer service. They are nice people. They also have bathrooms there and vending machines. Cold water in the office. They also sell locks and boxes. There are cameras outside, but not on the inside. But security or theft is not an issue (as far as i know) especially because there was one time i accidentally broke my lock and i left the door to my unit unlocked (but closed) for a couple days and nothing got stolen. Stupid on my part i know but just saying. I believe they have a security deposit of 50 dollars required and i think they wanted first and last months rent upfront. So when you compare that to other places that offer free move in or free first months rent that is a little downer, but the places that offer that are usually closer to 60 bucks a month for there smallest units so you'd be paying double the rent so you gotta weigh your options. Not to mention that they may offer deals i don't know about since it's been awhile. I would still be with them if it weren't for the fact that I'm in a different location. If you saw the Google reviews like I did, you should be skeptical of extreme one stars, as 10 percent of them tend to be disgruntled people asking for more than can be given. I went by to see what all the fuss was about, and I had a smooth tour and purchase of the unit. The worker there was respectful, and diligent processing me. I haven't had any further issues, and would suggest storing here. read more

Thank you John at U Store America for helping our move go smoothly. Finding a storage unit was the least of my concerns when we decided to sell our house in Vacaville and move to Napa. Our house in Vacaville sold in one day! Unfortunately, we were still trying to find the right house for us in Napa, we were going to have to be out of our Vacaville house before we could close on a house in Napa. So, I called around in Napa for a storage unit big enough for our belongings. Ha ha ha, you need it now? good luck buddy, were amongst the replies from the storage places in Napa. Same story in Vacaville, large storage units just are not available in this area. John at U Store America understood our problem and worked diligently to free up a unit. Although our use was only for a few months, I noticed the area was always clean and well lit. The bathroom was also clean every time I needed to use it.
