I've been coming to this place since I got my first car in 2007. The smog checks have always been a reasonable price. I pull up yesterday and they wanted to charge me $99 for a smog check that takes 20min. Are you kidding me? I'm sitting in a shop in Claremont right now 9/10/25 and I'm getting charged $55. How can you justify a $99 smog check? I wouldn't go to this place if I were you. There are definitely more affordable places. read more

These guys may as well have tattoos on their foreheads: "LIAR". Can't believe they lie so poorly n think they will stay in business. First, he showed me the readings, and the HC was way out, no way it will pass. So he tells me that for $350 he can "make it pass". I said no just do the test and give me the printout. Told him that i could take the printout to the DMV n get a 60-day deferment. But he was really pushing his $350 ripoff, like i pay today or face a nightmare tomorrow. I said no i just need the test. So he started the test and 20 minutes later he came to me and said that the exhaust from my RV had "contaminated" his machine. I asked him how that could happen and his answers were suspect at best. He figured that if i look like a homeless bum, i must be stupid. But he ALSO thought i could come up with $350! He just didn't wanna do the work for a measly $120. Doesn't he know that if i have to go somewhere else i'll find out that he's full o shit? So the next day i went to Avalon Smog Center, Avalon x Vernon in south LA. They were awesome. I was in n out in 20 minutes. He told me the engine was misfiring, a problem that i can EASILY fix myself for maybe $20. And i have 60 days to do it. read more

They tried to charge $350 to pass it and i denied. Still had to pay $30 even if it failed. I took it to my usual spot and it passed like nothing. read more

Don't go there for smog check he will rip you off went there on Friday morning I have a 2011 ford van he told me on this vans after 100,000 mile this trucks need new catalyst he said I have to paid 250 to pass it I told him that my van is in good condition and nothing is wrong he said is 50and 50 chance to passed I told him to do it ,after 15 or 20 minutes he told me that didn't pass and I need to change my catalyst wish is over 1000 $ he said come back on Saturday or Tuesday leave your van for couple hours I will change the sensors and I will pass it probably like 500 ,I have a friend that works installing catalyst I stop on my way to work to get and estimate he check my van and told me that nothing is wrong with my catalyst or sensor I went to a nearby smoke check and Walla it passed no problem Watch out for people like this I would never go back to this place. read more

Customer service really was spot on. All of the guys were helpful and didn't make me feel stupid or anything. This place is pretty close to my house which is a plus. And not that I'll be going but it's right next door to a Starbucks and across the street from McDonald's. Oh and right by the 60 freeway! Good location!
