I arrived to have a smog check performed on a 78 El Camino. I was turned away because they could not perform the service on a car that old. Only new cars here. Not only that...the guy who would have done the smog check was talking on his cell phone with someone and I found it difficult to tell if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. I took my car in to be smogged as I needed a test-only station and I wanted a place near my work and home. After reading the reviews here, I decided to take it here and I can say my experience was excellent. I was in and out pretty quickly and there was an outside table and chair where I was able to do a little work while I waited. There are also tons of magazines available so if you were bored, you'd probably find something worth reading. I had nice chat with the guy that did my smog and he had some good recommendations. This place has fast service and great customer service. I called earlier today to see how long it would take to get my smog checked and David wasn't kidding when he said 15 minutes. He asked me to give him a call when I was on the way and no joke, I was in and out in exactly 15 minutes. He knew I was on my lunch break and moved swiftly. No phoney baloney selling you extra junk. just fast honest service. $58 for a 09 nissan versa. It's a 1 man shop. I came to David with my old Ford Taurus 2001. Engine light was on. He checked the car, it would fail smog check, but he told me which part to change. It cost me $30 to change it and afterwards the car passed the smog check. Highly recommended! A+! read more

They say it opens at 8:30 but I went there at 9 and the guy was not there yet. Clerk at the gas station said he "should" be there within another 10 min. So I asked to use the bathroom while I waited and all they have is a port-a-potty. I left and won't be going back. read more

well...how do i word this place...been there 3 times. get my smog check the first time i went. overly paid for the service. i got fool the second time and went there again basic on their reviews and price quote over the phone. When i arrive the station. They told me that's not the deal they are offer and they need to check with another partner to confirm. waited for 20 minutes and sitting in the parking lot. they even asking me to move so other customer can come in for their services. fact: you can negotiate the price with the "owner" and different price quote. if you do like them that much. pick weekend dates and try to negotiate a price with them. you should be able to get a better deal than their advertisement for sure ;) be aware...they got at least 2 owners and operating in different time zone. make sure you put down their name and asking their hours. you might be in the shop with different shift of the owner and getting a different results ;) fact: not a very good business practice for my very little understanding about the car. i am just like you all, shopping for deals but this is not the type of situation i would ever want to put myself in for sure. so many better deals in our zipcode area they are not even advertising over the internet with great services. Check around and you will be very surprised what you can find in our neighborhood. good luck! read more
