I…read morefirst went there to buy a better quality sump pump to solve a problem caused by a mason I hired. The manager at Lewis took the time to listen to the problem and tell me he thought it was possible a different pump might not solve it. Almost two months later, a contractor about to swap out the pumps explained what WAS likely causing the problem. Nervy me took the pump back. And Lewis Supply gave me a refund--no complaints, no problem! But then, while we were chatting, I learned that the same pump I'd just returned would have solved a SECOND problem the mason had caused. So after a week of Doh-ing about it, I came back and re-bought the same freaking sump pump. Again, the guys at Lewis Supply asked questions (they knew their audience, by now) and realized I needed an additional brass fitting I would have otherwise left without. Lewis Supply saved me time, money, and much aggravation, and the three gentlemen who waited on me there were all equally patient, pleasant, and helpful. P.S. The new pump was installed yesterday--solving problem two during the install--and immediately started doing its thing, performing like a champ where the old pump had just been sitting there. So MAYbe problem one IS solved by the pump swap alone. Time will tell.
