We liked a style of wall tile they that they had a very small amount of out in the warehouse, but the rep went in the back and came out with 7 boxes (77 Sq ft) of perfect unbroken tile. I thought it was just me, then a friend of mine went in there (female) and she stated that the same happened to her noone asked her if they can help or if she had questions. Rude, rude, rude. I only need a small amount of dark blue tile to finish a mosaic. By the way, using broken tile for mosaics is a very common and normal practice. I was distinctly unimpressed that individual plain blue tiles are $3 apiece because they are hand painted. Apparently with a brush and actual paint (!) When I finally got the attention of someone who worked there, which wasn't easy due to their racial profiling, he sniffed that I should go downtown and look in garbage cans. So incredibly snobbish. I am finally getting around to write this review. I went to ABC Tile to compare prices with another store (Granite Outlet in Rancho Cordova) selling the same color laminate I needed. The place was busy on a Sunday with a couple of salesmen. After a 15 minutes wait, I was finally helped. The lady was friendly and helpful, willing to negotiate and work out a deal. Since I wasn't ready to purchase yet, we kindly departed. The following Saturday I went there again, and this time I was ready to buy. A guy named Pablo helped me. Pablo was friendly and very negotiable and when he wasn't sure about what he could offer, he made a phone call to the store owner. In retrospect, I could have gotten even a better deal from this place however I'm satisfied and don't feel ripped off. The great thing about this place is they are willing to negotiate to earn your business, so I advise you to speak up and ask for what you think is a fair price. I am rating this as a 4 but really think it's closer to a 4 1/2. Like most places, there's bound to be a sour apple employee and I ran into one there so I not rating it a 5 for that reason. All staff members should model themselves like Pablo. Pablo's definitely willing to do what he can to get you what you need at a fair price. If the store owner is reading this, get all of your employees to model themselves like Pablo. One more advice for the business owner, be a little better at determining who's next in line and kindly tell the next person they'll be helped as soon as possible. Overall, the customer service was great and I am very happy with what I bought so far. read more

We remodeled our kitchen recently and began checking and comparing prices on tile and all the supplies needed for flooring and back splash. We went to ABC tile on Franklin road and Pablo Criollo help us with everything. The prices were the best we found and we looked at a lot of places. He also recommended a contractor, Alex Granite and Tile. Between Pablo and Alex, our kitchen is now very beautiful. We recommend ABC tile to anyone who wants do remodel floors, kitchen or bathrooms. They were very helpful - we didn't know exactly what we wanted, but they allowed us to take a few pieces home to help make the decision. I wish I'd known about this place when we were looking to buy bamboo flooring for our kitchen. I didn't realize they had anything but tile, or I would have used them for our flooring too. I mentioned that they should change their name to include more than just tile, or at least optimize their web presence by including other key words, because when you search for "flooring" they don't come up, but they do when you search for "tile." I bought 1400 sqft nice Italian tile from this store at very good price back in June. When the installation was going on in mid July, I changed my mind and wanted something different for different rooms. I called the store to ask them if I can exchange or return the material, the store manager Pablo told me yes and he would help me. So I went ahead picked up a couple different material. One of the new material has to be shipped from LA, they got it in within 2 days. During the whole procedure, the store people are patient and very nice and helpful. My bf and I went here to get our tiles. We got walnut black colored tiles that looks like wood/laminated floors and it was at a reasonable price, $1.99 per sq ft. When we ordered it they said it was only going to take a week to come. When a week passed, we called in and they told us in two more days. After two more days, they didn't call us back - we had to call them and left a message since they didn't pick up our phone call. When they called us back, they told us two more days. They called us back two days later to tell us that it hasn't arrived and asked us if we wanted a different tile that they already have in stock, for a cheaper price. They said we could get the same brand, but mahogany for 20% off. I said no, that I wanted something dark, so they said they had something as dark as the walnut black in a different brand. I came in to look at it and it was not dark (it was more red) and there wasn't anything else that I wanted that they give me under $2.50. They told me that my order was going to come in FOR SURE in two more days since I didn't like any else that was there. I was like are you going to hook me up since you delayed my contractor for more than a week and he said NO. Totally got the short end of the stick on this one. read more

We had a great experience working with Patrick and the rest of the staff at ABC Tile. In the process of renovation we looked at the 2 major home improvement stores and felt we had ideas of what we wanted (porcelain wood grain tile) but the prices were expensive for the large space we needed to re-tile. Luckily one of our family members suggested ABC Tile. We walked in and saw a large selection of comparable tiles in contemporary styles but at really reasonable prices. The sales staff were both knowledgeable and helpful; I felt my questions were answered, and we even learned a bit about installation options. They were able to store the tile for us until installation day (a few weeks). We were nervous about finding a lot of broken tiles in the pallets of boxes but very few were found. Now, 6 months post installation, the tile still looks beautiful, just like new. We are on to a master bath remodel and will definitely go back to ABC Tile for this and future projects. read more

They also have excellent products for reasonable prices compared to all of the other businesses I visited.
