This is a nice low-key pumpkin patch. It's in the now-closed Big Lots parking lot. We've been here two years in a row and I like that it's free to go inside and check out the pumpkins, which is what we did last year when my son wasn't into jump houses yet. This year we paid for the jump house (which I feel is overpriced but to be fair I think every pumpkin patch activity anywhere else is also overpriced) and he had a good time. This is a wonderful tree lot, my husband and I come here every single year and pay a little over $100 for a 6 foot tree. The guys working here are always very helpful and do A wonderful job shaking the tree, adding a bowl and stand to the bottom, putting a net on the tree and loading it on top of our vehicle. This year we decided to do a 3 foot tree for our porch too and we're getting it flocked as well. When speaking to The woman at the register she said it takes on average a day and a half to get a large tree flocked, and the small one we got, roughly a day. There's always plenty of parking, the lot itself is well lit so you can see all the trees when taking a look around to make sure you like whatever you are selecting. They have the pricing clearly on a few large posts in their tree lot, they have some trees already flocked so you can see the various levels that they offer. They offer a light flocking which is like a fine dusting of powdered snow, a medium flocking which makes it look like it had been snowing enough for the snow to stick very well onto the tree, and then they offer a heavy flocking which makes it look like you had heavy snowfall. They also sell real living wreaths which are absolutely beautiful! This has been our favorite Christmas tree lot since moving to San Jose four years ago, and I just know we will continue to come here year after year, I would absolutely recommend coming here for your Christmas tree shopping! read more

The pumpkin patch is a good place for kids however I don't feel like it was very safe during this time of Covid. There were three slides, a paintball gun range (you get to shoot maybe 30 paintballs for $5 or a bucket for $20), they also have a bunch of pumpkins to choose from ranging between $3 to $25. I don't feel like having slides and children going on them is a very safe idea especially when there's a bunch of them running around some with masks some without, definitely not a very safe place for kids but as all things are it's at your own risk. I only saw one worker there working the entrance so I doubt the slides were being periodically cleaned, and masks weren't really enforced (probably because there's only one worker). The pumpkins might be a bit overpriced compared to your local grocery store, but the pumpkin patch experience is worth it (no cost of entrance to buy a pumpkin). A nice little spot for the family and if COVID was in high gear, I'd probably would have enjoyed the experience a bit more. The ladies working here really didn't enforce the mask policy. There were quite a few people walking around without masks despite there being a sign right at the entrance. This is a nice little place though, with slides and a bounce area for the kids, and pumpkins. Can't go wrong with pumpkins. I'd give this spot an extra star if they enforced the mask policy, but alas, they did not. read more

During the 2022 Halloween season, my family visited this pumpkin patch four times. Each time the workers were very friendly and helpful, and my kids had a lot of fun. On two occasions, I feel that the workers went out of their way to provide great customer service. First, my two-year-old toddler was in a bouncy house with some bigger kids. He was getting ready to be tumbled, and my wife was quickly taking off her shoes and attempting to rush in to save him. Another worker witnessed what was going on, and he dove into the bouncy house, got our son and brought them back to us. The second time, I was on a school field trip, and I was helping some of the kids go down the big slide. I stayed up there for a while, helping all the students go down. Afterwards, one of the workers came up to me, and personally thanked me for helping out. It was very nice of him to show his appreciation. read more

Parking: The pumpkin patch is right off 85 and off a large main road; there's tons of parking! It's right next to the light rail station. My friends and I came by on a Saturday night around 6 PM, because another pumpkin patch nearby was closed at 6 PM. The hours of this pumpkin patch are great! They close at 9 or 10 PM on weekends. There is also no entrance fee!! We weren't sure if they would allow dogs, and there were no reviews about dogs or any online website where they mentioned dogs, so we decided to just try asking. The employees working at the ticketing booth were super friendly and told us that dogs were okay as long as we kept them on leash. Yay! Overall had a pretty decent experience here - definitely a pumpkin patch geared more towards children, but it was a fun time bringing the pups to experience a pumpkin patch and great for photo ops! read more

I was a bit worried about the selection of trees as we were a bit late to the game, however they had a good amount of different types of trees in all shapes and sizes. Wanted to beat the crowds this weekend so we brought our daughter on a Thursday afternoon. There were only a few other kids there. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. I asked if he could accompany our daughter on one of the bigger slides since adults aren't allowed, he said one of us could go with her since it's slow. We picked up 2 medium pumpkins for $13. Leaving a review for the pumpkin patch, as we're not familiar with the tree farm (yet). Shannon and Shelley, who are the staff at the patch, are wonderful! They could tell that my baby brother, who is a special needs child, was a little nervous, so they talked to him, gave him some tips, and helped him feel more comfortable going on the inflatables. Overall, the patch itself is extremely clean. Pretty impressive that amongst all of the inflatables/slides areas, none of them seemed to have hay, leaves, or any other debris! Really good variety of pumpkins, too - we picked up a huge gorgeous pink one but I'm probably going to go back for a few more. Pricing is pretty fair to me; I think it's $12 for a half hour for all inflatables, and $17 for a full hour. Totally worth paying the extra $5 for the whole hour because really wears kids out as they keep jumping and climbing for that entire time. If you compare it to adult spin classes, it's a steal and probably a better workout for your kids lol. Make sure to bring a sweatshirt because it gets cold while you're waiting for them, and bring or buy water for your kids because they get thirsty for the exercise! I'll definitely be bringing my brother back a few more times! read more

This Pumpkin Patch is located in a fenced in area in the southeast corner of the Blossom Hill VTA Park & Ride parking lot. We drive by it on the way home everyday and of course we had to check it out. So we set up a play date with some friends to meet up and see what's doing. My 3-year-old and I arrived early -because that's how we roll- and we decided to head in before our friends arrived to check it out. Here's the goods: -Value: The prices seem a little steep for what it is: $9 for 30-minutes and $13 for 1-hour; the website claims that there is a $25-all day option but the signs at the location didn't show that option. I kind of doubt anybody would go for that option anyway the place is hardly big enough to stay "All Day". We chose the 1-hour option and I think that's just right. 3* -Attractions: There are a total of 3 Bouncy Houses; 1 giant T-Rex maze thingy that was just a little too difficult for a toddler to navigate; a huge Sabre-Toothed Tiger Slide; and some John Deere battery-powered cars that the kids can ride. I'm not sure what the deal was with the cars. There were no batteries hooked up so they didn't work unless the kids were pushed by an adult which seems a little silly, and like a lot of work, to me but I did it anyways because it's what I do. There's also some pumpkins that I guess you can purchase and some other Halloween-type paraphernalia up at the pay booth but we didn't come here for that. So as you can see, not a whole lot to choose from here but -other than the cars- what is here is pretty good quality. 3.5* -Fun Factor: As I stated before my son and I went in alone at first and there were only a few kids in there none of which were his age. He was having a pretty good time running around checking everything out. The real fun began when our friends arrived; it went from cocktail party fun to LMFAO party fun in a matter of seconds! They had a blast chasing each other around, going down the slides and getting pushed around in the cars. The big attraction though is the Sabre-Toothed Tiger Slide; that thing is pretty fantastic. It is a bit much for younger kids to be able to navigate up to the top though but we asked the attendant and he said it was cool (I hope I'm not getting anyone in trouble!) if we carried the kids up there ourselves. That in itself is quite a trek, my friends. Imagine carrying a 40-lb toddler up a huge inflatable tiger with "stairs" that got increasingly steeper the further you went up. It's a good thing I'm in decent shape because it was quite a workout but the payoff at the end was well worth it. It's pretty amazing how fast you can go down that thing. After doing it a couple of times my son was over it (thank goodness!) because I think it was a bit intense for him. 5* This is a pretty cool little spot to bring the kids especially if you're already going to be there for one of the other events (e.g., Farmer's Market, Moveable Feast) they have in that parking lot. I think they could bring the price down a little to make the parents happier, but it's hard to kvetch over such a small amount of money. I would highly recommend coming here with other kids on a play date, or at a time when you see other children there, because the fun factor increases tremendously for the kids. I think we'll be back at least once more because, as my son so eloquently put it, "That was a big fun!" read more

I just want to share what a great experience I had at the Blossom Hill Christmas Tree lot. Fernando Arreola was extremely helpful and genuine from the beginning. He directed me to the area of tree's that matched exactly what I was looking for. I had them treat it with fire retardant, and they held it 24hrs for drying. The following morning Fernando was immediately attentive and helpful, covering the tree and securing it to my vehicle. This tree is a donation for a special facility, and I let Fernando know that his excellent customer service means alot to our company and the receiving facility. Happy Holidays!! read more

The woman who manages this Pumpkin Patch does a great job with customer service, as well as doing her best to keep everyone safe, with a well managed play area. Just had my son's third birthday here yesterday and until he's "over" jumpy houses/jumpy amusements, we'll be back. Shelly was a JOY to work with, even calling to me to ask if I'd like to use a certain amenity though it would require me starting the party an hour early. She was friendly and considerate. The kids enjoyed their time, all the kids did their own thing and jumped where they wanted and we came back to eat for the last thirty minutes, having the space set up and having people clean up was something I didn't have to worry about as well as, every kid got a pumpkin! BUYER BEWARE We purchased the tree and paid for flocking and delivery/set up. Well, delayed delivery, lack of communication....could have lived with that.....but...once the tree was delivered and set up by them it was obviously crooked. Of course it crashed over! 10 feet of tree crashed, smashing a 25 year collection of Christopher Radko ornaments. Owner's response- that has never happened before! Wish I had read the reviews! Finally, they refunded our money, but... they took the tree back. I hope it is not back for sale. Why did it crash? The stand was slightly off, too flimsy for the weight of the tree, water bowl was just a little off , all of this combined to create a dangerous situation. My niece had her birthday party here today. I must say it's pretty good. The kids in our party had a wonderful time bouncing and sliding around. We weren't walking on dirt so that was a plus but of course it's not the actual experience of a patch. However, I think the only thing that bothered me was the security. The kids would walk off and I had to keep following them around afraid someone might snatch them away. The party area was covered and plenty of parking. Overall it was great!
