This is a wonderful tree lot, my husband and I come here every single year and pay a little over $100 for a 6 foot tree. The guys working here are always very helpful and do A wonderful job shaking the tree, adding a bowl and stand to the bottom, putting a net on the tree and loading it on top of our vehicle. This year we decided to do a 3 foot tree for our porch too and we're getting it flocked as well. When speaking to The woman at the register she said it takes on average a day and a half to get a large tree flocked, and the small one we got, roughly a day. There's always plenty of parking, the lot itself is well lit so you can see all the trees when taking a look around to make sure you like whatever you are selecting. They have the pricing clearly on a few large posts in their tree lot, they have some trees already flocked so you can see the various levels that they offer. They offer a light flocking which is like a fine dusting of powdered snow, a medium flocking which makes it look like it had been snowing enough for the snow to stick very well onto the tree, and then they offer a heavy flocking which makes it look like you had heavy snowfall. They also sell real living wreaths which are absolutely beautiful! This has been our favorite Christmas tree lot since moving to San Jose four years ago, and I just know we will continue to come here year after year, I would absolutely recommend coming here for your Christmas tree shopping!

My daughters first pumpkin patch! It was small nice and very affordable! Parking was easy and free. We got our pumpkin under $10 that's awesome . Prices vary depending on size. The young man working the booth was polite, helpful and very kind to my baby. I really liked all the decor and the prop areas to take pictures. I will be back next year. Thanks for making our first pumpkin patch a memorable one!

$7 pumpkin I bought, the lady tried to ask for $10 but they have a comparison on the side with prices about the sizes

The pumpkin patch is a good place for kids however I don't feel like it was very safe during this time of Covid. There were three slides, a paintball gun range (you get to shoot maybe 30 paintballs for $5 or a bucket for $20), they also have a bunch of pumpkins to choose from ranging between $3 to $25. I don't feel like having slides and children going on them is a very safe idea especially when there's a bunch of them running around some with masks some without, definitely not a very safe place for kids but as all things are it's at your own risk. I only saw one worker there working the entrance so I doubt the slides were being periodically cleaned, and masks weren't really enforced (probably because there's only one worker). The pumpkins might be a bit overpriced compared to your local grocery store, but the pumpkin patch experience is worth it (no cost of entrance to buy a pumpkin). Go at your own risk, especially with kids!

Pretty small pumpkin patch area compared to some other pumpkin patches, but there are a lot of pumpkins here to choose from, and lots of bouncy houses / entertainment for younger children. I believe an hour (or 30 minutes?) of play is $13, which isn't too expensive. I've seen some pumpkin patches that charge $17. Parking: The pumpkin patch is right off 85 and off a large main road; there's tons of parking! It's right next to the light rail station. My friends and I came by on a Saturday night around 6 PM, because another pumpkin patch nearby was closed at 6 PM. The hours of this pumpkin patch are great! They close at 9 or 10 PM on weekends. There is also no entrance fee!! We weren't sure if they would allow dogs, and there were no reviews about dogs or any online website where they mentioned dogs, so we decided to just try asking. The employees working at the ticketing booth were super friendly and told us that dogs were okay as long as we kept them on leash. Yay! Overall had a pretty decent experience here - definitely a pumpkin patch geared more towards children, but it was a fun time bringing the pups to experience a pumpkin patch and great for photo ops!

Pathway to walk in towards the bounce houses, super slide in the back, etc

My first time coming to Pick of the Patch Pumpkin and my precious daughter enjoyed the super slide first, ran to different bounce houses, and finally the red dragon slide that was the biggest slide I've seen! -This pumpkin patch is actually quite smaller than the other ones that I have seen, but still each family that I've seen with their kids had a blast. -There is a few selections of pumpkins to choose from, but two buckets where you purchase the tickets for the kids to play is filled with cute little pumpkins! -There is no public restroom, so make sure your little ones go before coming here! (Or in a bush near by with wipes, just kidding! Or am I? Haha)

Prepping the slide for better speed!

I had a wonderful experience this year!!! The family that had been there the past two year I was expecting and to be honest I thought this family was AMAZING!! Shannon, Shelley, Faith and Conger!!! Thank you for making me want to come back again. Shelley a big thank you for being so kind to my daughter and trying to lift her spirts after falling in the jumper. So very thoughtful of the husband to add polish to the slide for us!!! Faith and Conger you both were great company at the slides. The pumpkins were awesome!!! Different sizes, colors, and the shapes were perfect. Not an overload of pumpkins which made it very easy to look and comfortable to walk around. The jumpers were clean, the tarps were free of debris. Trash cans accessible. I've had the best experience in 3 years here. Thanks guys!!!

I always heard about ABC tree farms. They are very well known. The prices for being a smaller establishment is just right. I didn't end up buying a tree here because I was unable to find staff to help me out. I ended up leaving and buying a tree elsewhere. It was too bad, because they had some nice trees here! Maybe next year.

My kid wanted to play the carnival games, which close at 8pm, so we bought some tickets to play, and were out to the carnival by 752pm, they had already taken everything down and had only a few simple games still up. I know this is all for a good cause and it really isn't too big of a deal, but it is silly that I literally bought the tickets within a minute and then walked back after the carnival being closed and then denied to even use the tickets on anything else and then told to come back next week. They were told not to sell any tickets since they were closing up the carnival early, but I guess it wasn't communicated well. I guess we will be back to use up the tickets next weekend...?

This was our second time to this event and we were glad to see some improvements. This year, there were more booths for children. Through the educational and fun activities, you got to learn about the salmons in the Guadalupe River, the importance of eating vegetables, make scary spiders, decorate pumpkins, etc. They even brought out the giant Monopoly pieces for anyone to play. It was fun rooting for the little ones as they mustered their strength to roll those big dice that were each twice the size of the kid. Closer to the music stage, there was a mini straw bale maze for tots. Very cute! All aboard that colorful choo-choo train in front of Children's Discovery Museum and rode around the park. It's good to be a kid. The "carnival game alley" was a great addition but very congested with all the kids, parents and strollers concentrated in one area. As popular as it was, for next year, they should consider allocating more space so the kids could wait safely in line for the games. There were also beautiful hand blown glass pumpkins by local artists for sale. But these fragile pieces got me worried a little with so many little hands reaching to touch them. This was not a full blown pumpkin patch but it did the job for the younger ones and still a fun-filled event. Most of all, it was free to enter. The only issue was probably finding parking. I would recommend taking the light rail. Stress-free (one less thing to worry about for the parents) and it brings you to the front door of Children's Discovery Museum and Discovery Meadow where they hold the annual Pumpkins in the Park.

When I went on a Sunday this place was CRAZY BUSY, it was soo busy people were parking across the street. Although it looks scary (as in hundreds of people everywhere lol) the lines went by super fast. The staff that I met in the front was very nice. :) I will say this place is getting a bit PRICEY, the prices seem to go up every year but the activities are relatively the same. I think a date for two with some activities easily hits past $80-$100. I can't even imagine what big families have to pay. *GASP* lol. It would be nice if they offered discounts for return visits, loyalty customers, or family packs tbh. These prices in this economy?! lol Just joking. (But definitely something to think about.) ...Sadly I think this place isn't affordable for most people especially if you have a big family it's $8 per person just to get in. *Eek* an entrance fee for a family of 5 would be $40 WITHOUT activities... definitely not economical but... If you have the money to spend definitely check it out! The Halloween games and activities are awesome + super fun. I will say we made the mistake of buying food here (yikes on bikes!) the food is honestly terrible lol. He straight up told her the weight limit and asked if she was there. I understand a bouncing activity is not immune from the laws of physics, but the staff member put no thought into how he came across it seemed. I felt so taken back that a man felt okay embarrassing a woman about her weight (and she wasn't obese). The staff member could have at least asked if the woman wanted to participate with her kid. Yes there was a sign with a weight limit, but maybe the sign could be more clear and certainly a little kinder to avoid embarrassing women.
