We were invited for a 1st birthday party and this is the place they choose. I would say this is very nice for young babies and kids. The staff are friendly and good with kids. Make sure before going here, submit the waiver. For the sanitary of this place, they highly recommend the kids to wear socks to play. After 1hr of play we were sent to Lion Den"party room" to eat. With it being ski week and its been pouring rain i need to find activities for my 5 year old twins to do. So today it was safari run. I am not a huge fan of indoor playgrounds because they are usually dirty and parents dont watch their kids. This place is not like that at all. First its spotless, they even make the kids wash their hands when they enter! The area where the parents sit to watch is directly in front of the play structure so you can have eyes on the kids all the time. Of course when you arrive for the first time you have to fill out a waiver. Which is understandable, what makes this place different is instead of my twins standing there while I fill out the waiver amd try to keep them under control, one of the amazing staff members asked if it would be ok for the kids to go in. FANTASTIC! Obviously this wouldnt work with smaller children but my twins were able to go in, take off their shoes, wash their hands and start playing before I even paid. This is such a blessing. After I paid and they explained the rules about food and water and where to eat AND then another staff member showed me where my kids shoes were and where I could be watching them. The staff is so incredibly nice and the place is super clean. I was so impressed. My boys played for over two hours and even made a friend. We will definitely be back !!! read more

We had my niece's 3rd birthday here and it was A BLAST. I have to add that my niece has never had a birthday party before because Covid killed that for her last 2 birthdays... so this was a really big deal. She's obsessed with Lion King so the safari theme was perfect. When you book, you reserve a private space for your party goers; you get the entire play area for your guests. They had everything set up so nicely: present cart, welcome sign... staff to monitor within the jungle gym area. Everything was spotless and clean. Not only were the kids having fun but the adults were just loving it! There's also comfortable seating within the area for family to sit, socialize and observe. There's soft music playing in the background (not overbearing like in most kid's gyms). The structure is safe, soft, netted and not massive so you can easily spot the kiddos. This place seems better suited for kids 8 and younger, IMO. Everyone must wear socks to play, just fyi. My brother and I were making bets about how many kids were going to have a meltdown after the play time was over but it never happened. Here is why: After the play time is up, staff makes a beautiful transition from play time to sitting on a mat, group picture, to hand washing, to party room (for food and cake). It is seriously a well-oiled machine. THEY WERE ON IT!! The staff was so nice, organized; they got all the kids seated, and before you know it, they all had pizza in front of them (my family brought in the pizza). NO JOKE; not a PEEP from these kids! They were kept busy the entire time. Staff set up the salad, fruit, drinks and cake beautifully... beyond organized! I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and my jaw was dropped watching the staff seamlessly keep a group of 50 people (including 20 hungry hyper kids) in order. The ambiance inside is so colorful and fun with murals, paintings, paper lanterns. There are several high tops for the adults and a long table for the kids so they are centralized. There is a long counter with plenty of room for food and the staff does all of the initial serving. As soon as the eating and cake is over, you then transition to another room for last pics and goodbyes, handing out gift bags (my sister made hers). I can't emphasize enough how flawless it was. I've never been to a more fun and organized kids party in my life. More important than anything, my niece was the happiest little girl I have ever seen that day. She had so much fun with her friends and family. Absolutely priceless memories. If you're on the fence about having a party here... absolutely do it! read more

We had our son's bday party here. Everything from start to finish was so well organized. Bella and Janessa did a great job of explaining us everything and ensuring everything was well planned. They have staff that helps you unload stuff from your car, organize it, greet guests, play with kids, serve food, hand out return gifts. The play area itself is huge, new, clean and well maintained and since you can fully reserve it, it's a nice contained environment with known kids and guests. The kids had a blast in the play area, the staff even plays some fun games. They have a pretty structured program - 50 mins play, 10 mins wash hands and restroom break and then 40 mins cake cutting and food. The cake cutting and food is in a different room. It's all decorated so you don't need to worry about adding extra decor. For food, you can order only from their affiliated restaurant- tasty subs and pizza. This is the only downside, but they let you bring your own side of cold plates such as sandwiches or fruits. Also the cake cutting and eating food can seem slightly rushed. But overall it's a great venue for hosting kids bday party! read more

Came here for a birthday party and I thought the entire event was very well done. The entire venue was booked out for our private party so the kids got an hour of free play, running through the play structure or playing with the athletic balls that they left out. I think this place is probably a little better suited for the older kids as younger tots would physically have a tough time navigating through the play structure. When it was time to move to the party room, the staff did a good job of corraling everyone, even making sure to get all the kids' attention for a photo opp first. In the party room, everything was nicely set up and the staff made quick work with serving all the kids some pizza slices and fresh fruit. At one point, they entertained the kids by playing the i-spy game with various hidden items in the paintings on the walls. Then it was time for birthday cake and the staff immediately packed up all the food after so the hosts didn't have to lift a finger. Everyone was then ushered into a separate room to pick up goodie bags and then it was time to go. Genessa was kind and explained the process - we signed waivers at the front, shoes aren't to be worn on the play structure (socks needed), and kids are to wash their hands before play. The space has quite a few seating areas for parents to lounge while kids play. There are chairs and tables outside the play area for snack time. They even have snacks, drinks and toys available for purchase near the front. We appreciated the notices on the table that share they are a peanut free facility to accommodate those with allergies. Very clean indoor place for kids party. They are timed, so their staffs are managing the kids activities at a very timely manner at their scheduled time for each activity. I like the fact that they clean the jungle house after each party! As the kids were leaving to the dining room for lunch, staffs are already starting to clean for the next party to come. Each areas a few staffs stationed in the area to help and mange activities They cater their pizza from taste sub, which we just had the night before. Pizza is decent! I love the garlic chicken the most and like the dough which is thick, soft and chewy. My kind of pizza. I don't know how many dining rooms they have, but the one we had was able to accommodate about 30-40 snuggly. I wish the rosining area is bigger with more rooms to wiggle. I hosted my child's birthday party at Safari Run and it went so smoothly. The booking process was easy online, the team was really communicative with helping me through the planning process with phone calls/emails, and the party went so well. I could not ask for a better event! My child had fun. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff were welcoming to me when I arrived, rolling out a cart to help bring stuff from my car. They were so lovely to all of my guests, the staff offered the parents water while we stood around watching the kids play. The staff hosted games, took a group picture, and helped wrangle the kids to go to the party room. I felt like a guest at my child's bday party and got to enjoy myself! The party room was so lovely, the staff were so great with offering the kids their food and bday cake. They kept the party timeline moving along smoothly and all of the guests were out promptly and I didn't have to deal with a party lasting forever. I loved how clean the place was. Been wanting to try this place. Came here for open play this morning. Please make sure you check the website calendar for open play hours. Sign a waiver and then pay 15 dollars per child over one. Credit cards gets charged a service fee. There are cubbies for shoes- socks are required in the play area. I also placed my diaper backpack onto of the cubbies. The play area is ONE large room with a giant structure with a bunch of slides attached. There is a corner for toddlers under 3. There are tables outside the play area for you to eat or do work on your laptop. There are couches within the play area I noted a lot of parents lounging. Area to purchase snacks and Melissa and Doug toys. The place is very clean and so are the restrooms all the way in the back. Many stalls and a newish changing table with a diaper trash can. Mostly the other parents were all nice and kind which helped for our first visit. I do wish that some parents would re-enforce with their kids the toddler section. It is not fun for my 2 year old to have to fight to play on a mini slide with much bigger kids. They released these mini stuff balls which was a blessing. This place is really for bigger toddlers/younger elementary school aged children. My child had fun with the stuff balls and the toddler section when it wasn't crowded with big kids but didn't want to go onto the structure. Would come back when my kid is older. read more

Yesterday we had my son's 5th birthday party here. It was AMAZING from start to finish! The 2 things that stood out the most were the attentiveness of the staff and how clean and in good repair the facility was. From the moment we arrived in the designated birthday parent parking spot (where someone came out immediately with a cart to unload everything) to them setting up and serving all the food. Everything was seamless and so easy. I was able to enjoy the party with my son! The place was spotless (even the bathrooms) and I noticed while checking in they were up in the climbing structure cleaning between parties. Great place! Children will first get a chance to play in the play area, which includes a section for toddlers and larger play structure for kids. After playing and sanitizing the hands, children and parents are escorted to a dining room that is animal-themed. Everyone is served pizza, sandwiches, and the desserts/cake that you bring. We visited Safari Run on a rainy Monday morning, and it was empty, literally me and another family! Open play varies everyday so please look on their website for the schedule. You can also pay for private play if you have a group. It cost $15 for my son to play the whole time. Please wear your socks and wash your hands when you come into the playground. There are multiple slides, obstacle courses, and an infant area. Large area to run around and take a break. I, myself, was in the gym, getting on all the slides with my son just fine. They do sell snacks and drinks. There also is a section with educational toys from Melissa & Doug. We will definitely be coming back to play more. read more

Went here for our 3Y's birthday party. Very clean and well kept facility. Great play structure that's safe for toddlers to run around and expend some of their endless energy. The staff are very helpful from the beginning to the end of the experience. We were able to just enjoy time with our guests and the kids. They setup all of the directions we had brought, served food for the kids and helped keep everything running in a timely fashion. The only suggestion I would have is perhaps not having the staff play a game with the kids in the middle of the play time. For our age group which was 2-4Y primarily it was probably better if they had just run around more on the structure as they couldn't quite understand the game. read more

Very satisfied during the short time we spent at Safari Run. We happened to stumble by this spot while in the area for a medical appointment. Since we arrived about 30 minutes prior to closing, the employee gave us a discount only charging us half price. I appreciated her fairness and kind gesture. They do not require special socks (which is definitely a plus!) and the facilities are amazingly clean and sanitary. We were prompted to wash our hands (before and after playing) using the sinks conveniently located next to the play area. Now I have been to dozens of jump houses/play lands all around the Bay Area but have never encountered such a set up. Being a germaphobe, I have to say I loved it! My 3 year old was a bit intimidated by some of the play structure as there were tons of older children playing roughly. In particular, the tiger slide is a bit steep and is not monitored so tons of kids come down fast and hard (a few at the same time). More staff patrolling the areas during busy time would be nice. Because as always, it seems most parents and babysitters are glued to their smartphones. When we were about to leave, I noticed the employee mopping the floor and sanitizing surfaces. Wow! Usually I'm too lazy to write reviews even if they are very bad or very good. But I HAD TO write a review for the amazing birthday party experience Safari Run created for our preschooler! We had 20-25 kids and about 20 adults. Honestly, I was expecting a pretty good experience mainly cuz it would be fun BUT the entire staff made the party one to remember. I had tons of parents asking me information about how I found the location and how amazing the service was and EVERYTHING. I have a 2nd child (an infant) and I didn't have to lift a finger during the whole party. The party room (for eating & birthday cake) was big, clean, and super cozy. Even the walls were super cute (thats right - I had a parent comment on the awesome walls!). Mason led the kids in activities so that parents didn't have to worry about kids gettin rowdy and getting hurt. What a wonderful experience! Maria the lead staff member was so patient with me (i'm super OCD). I mean what an amazing team! I HIGHLY recommend this place for all kid parties!!! We've been to about a dozen or so birthday parties at various venues in the bay area (Pump It Up, Gymboree, La Petite Playhouse, etc). We selected Safari Run for our son's bday party and was really pleased with it. Staff we had were amazing. They were helpful and very professional. They came by to let us know the schedule and updated us throughout the party. E.g. they asked us if we liked them to organize play games while kids were playing. We said no as kids were having so much time just running around on their own. They were great at preparing and serving the food. They tossed the salad, cut the fruits and walked around to pass out the food to kids and parents. Their pizzas were actually really good (not that you have a choice, you have to order theirs). We were allow to bring in packaged fruits and salad which were very easy from Costco. Def a stress free and fun experience for everyone. Can't go wrong with this place! read more

All my guests were impressed by the cleanness here, and told me it's "the cleanest indoor playground I've seen in the bay area". You can see your kid through the net of climbing structure at all times, almost no blind spots, so you don't need to climb yourself in order not to loose your kid out of sight. Climbing structure is fully netted, very safe. There are comfy chairs for parents, separate zone for having snacks, sinks to wash hands right near the play structure.
