Really nice updated park in Santa Clara. Located in a residential area but not too far from Homestead Rd. There is a small parking lot and street parking as well. We came on a Monday morning and it was a little busier than I expected! But there were enough things spread out so it didn't feel too crowded. All of the equipment is new- as Sharon H mentioned, it was remodeled just a few months ago. I loved the treehouse theme and the unique swings. The baby swing connected to an adult swing is a great idea, as long as the adult doesn't get too dizzy from swinging :P I also liked the sand area (it has a table for kids to play with, as well as a regular sand pit). The sand area, unfortunately, is the only shaded area so make sure you bring hats and sunscreen. I saw a few picnic tables, some in the sun and some in the shade. Also a nice grassy area for running around or picnicking!

This is a neat new playground that was recently remodeled a few months ago. There is a bigger structure for older kids that is tree-house themed where kids can climb up through the tree trunk to get to the slides. There is also a smaller toddler structure, as well as some spinning structures. There are two small swing sets- one of them has one baby and one kid swing, and the other has 2 dual parent-baby swing. Playground is mainly covered in tan bark , some soft padding in areas where there is a tiny hill to climb on. No gating around playground There are a few benches and picnic tables as well. The bathrooms are currently open and right next to the playground, but the drinking fountains (along with a doggie fountain) are still closed. The park has a nice field, and is overall pretty and quaint. I hesitated to post this since it seems it's still a bit undiscovered- it was empty when we were there on a weekday morning!

This park is geared at kids and not adults. I can see it being a great park for kids with cool play structures. There's not a lot of room to run or jog if that's what you are looking for. Was looking to see some kids do some tricks on the slopes on their bikes. It was busy and everyone was masked up.

This is a gem in this area! All structures and areas in this park are designed to help young children grow, develop, and work on their motor skills. The tree house is absolutely amazing, and there are a lot of structures that give children the chance to explore the range of motion and strength that they are capable of. The sand box is nice too, make sure to bring a set of toys. Grassy areas are excellent for picnics or little competition games (tag, frisbee, etc.). During this Summer season make sure to bring enough water for hydration and a sun hat. Do not recommend going here from 12pm - 3pm due to the high heat.

What a beautiful park! Hidden away in a quiet neighborhood, it's renovated and beautifully peaceful. We rented the picnic tables from the city (which you can and should do because we had to kick out another family). It also had bbq area which we didn't use. Our tables were in the shade and perfect place for my daughter's birthday. It's not a huge park so everything is accessible. Playground and restrooms are nearby and in awesome shape from recent renovation. I definitely want to return here just to have my kids enjoy the park some more.

Our favorite park in Santa Clara!! It's very nice it has a huge yet compact layout. Nice trail, endless fun to play on and with! Lots of grass to run and roll too

While it has some inclusive features, many structures don't feel designed with littles or kids with disabilities in mind. There are open stairs and gaps with no barriers, which made it stressful as my son kept running toward unsafe areas. We liked the climbing section with the big slide, but access wasn't very accessible and things got chaotic with kids not taking turns. The open field is nice for activities like kite flying, but again, no barriers meant constant redirection. Also worth noting: the dog park is right next to the baby swings and restrooms, and parking is very limited and easy to miss. Overall, some nice features, but the lack of safety made it more stressful than enjoyable for us.

It is decent in rain, as it is gravel, but grass. The dog park area is about a 3 star area. The rest of the park is better. It has a very large green field in the center, ringed with a walking trail, picnic areas, and play areas. There is water and bathroom facilities. The parking area is a bit in the small side. Not residing in this county and visiting this park for the first time, I was blown away. I am sort of kind of okay totally envious and jealous. :) OVERALL: Very, very, very well kept and very, very, very clean. Nothing was or seemed broken down. Saw many people walk and play in the playground but not many people picnic/sunbathe. VARIETY: If you love water, there's a walk path for you. If you love redwoods, there's a walk path for you. If you love sunshine, there's a walk path for you. If you love bridges, there's a walk path for you. If you love pavilions, lights, nature, there's a place for you. If you love playgrounds, there's different ones for you to pick from and a super modern clean one too! PLAYGROUNDS: Wow. The equipment utilized is high end. The options is numerous of what one wants to do. The 3 hammocks are fantastic...this modern playground is gated with one entrance/exit door. Questionable individual sitting at the entrance with a table of "free gift," attempting you to entice you to join their program. Restrooms available. Simple parking with multiple spaces for you to pick from. Very ground level flat cement guided trails.

Since we were in need of finding a little bit of entertainment for our 6 year old prior to dinner, this spot couldn't have been more perfect. The area is extremely spacious, even offering a track where a lot of people were seen taking a stroll. The play structure is clean and obviously well taken care of. There is plenty of sunshine with just the right amount of shade scattered throughout the space. With some further exploring I noticed a few grills, benches, and beautifully made ping pong tables. There were kids of all ages who came to enjoy during out 45 minute visit and everyone was so very friendly. My daughter quickly made friends with 3 other kids and it was tough tearing her away from the park when that time came. 5/5 stars. I'd happily come back and visit again. This spot is highly recommended.

The park offers a nice variety, so there's something for kids of all ages to enjoy. My son ended up making a friend and they played together for over an hour, which says a lot about how engaging the space is. I really appreciated that there are separate areas for younger and older kids, and the climbing structures feel very thoughtfully designed with safety in mind--no large open gaps or risky sections. The location is also a plus--it's tucked away in a corner, which makes it feel like a bit of a hidden gem in Sunnyvale. We'll definitely be back!
