I think the best thing about Armstrong is that they still have pony packs, meaning six packs of plants. If you go to the big box stores now you can only buy one plant at a time for instance if I want a basil plant I can get six of them in a pony packet Armstrong whereas I would have to pay almost as much for just one at the big box stores. They have San Marzano tomato plants in the springtime. Need I say more? Those are very difficult to find! Every year they give away free ladybug and sometimes free praying mantis that certain times of the year. Armstrong has been here for a long time and I'm very happy they are still here. If you are a senior be sure to ask for the senior discount. They will discount you every time.

That set was out of stock so the shopper brought me an SAE set and told me the employee in the tools section told her that metric and SAE are the same exact thing. What? I proceeded to return the tool set to Lowes. It's been upwards of a week and I never received a refund to my card. They must really need the $40. I have only ever frequented this store because it's three miles from my home which is about seven minutes driving time give or take so definitely convenient but every single time, you can't get help and if you do, you're given wrong information. Guess that's why there is the running "joke" about never getting "any assistance at Lowes." I'll stick with Home Depot. A lot further but at least I get my refunds and their employees are knowledgeable.

A couple of days ago we went to Home Depot to buy blinds for our window. We knew exactly what we…read morewanted and asked an associate to cut the blind for us. He did, but when we got home the blind was uneven and damaged, completely unusable. The next day we went back to return it. At the return desk, after explaining what happened, the associate had the nerve to tell me that once a blind is cut it cannot be returned--as if we had done something wrong, when it was Home Depot's own employee who cut it incorrectly and damaged it. She then said they "usually don't refund cut blinds" but that they would do it "this one time for me." That attitude was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers should not be blamed for a mistake made by Home Depot staff. Shame on you!

The service was amazing- they were so sweet and I asked about how long they have been there and she said 7 years, which I was amazed by- she said that they started as a workshop place and expanded their gift shop but they do still offer classes. Stumbled across this family owned business on social media and I booked an appointment the same…read moreweek! It was our first time here and we took in the great views, purchased some homegrown honey (small oz for $7) and a small tree for our home (less than five ft cost is $17.50/per foot). The staff was very friendly and Luis made the experience even more memorable! He let my husband and son cut down our tree. Then walked us through their process of shaking the tree and tying it up for easier transportation. It was so magical and now we have a keepsake that brightens our home with that fresh Christmas tree smell. Highly recommend!
