    Wholesale pricing
    Daniel B.

On their website in one of their FAQ's it states that everyone gets wholesale pricing. That is not true. Their prices are crazy high, crazy expensive. You will find much better pricing elsewhere, don't waste your time going here.

    Jaboticaba

The staff was polite enough, but you can tell it's more aim towards big orders, not customers on a budget. I bought a jaboticaba tree that has grown a couple inches since then.

Great spot to pick whatever you may want for trees l. Selections was amazing, I couldn't even see all of the selections, it would have taken all day. Great price for great products!

Such a great hidden gem nestled in Vista! Had a great experience and my fruit trees and bushes are already happily blooming!! My husband and I had talked about getting some fruit trees to fill in empty space in our yard. I wanted to support local and small business. I did not want to get tiny overpriced twigs from Home Depot that won't produce fruit for five years. So we ventured to this nursery. It is part of a family's personal property but easy parking is available by the driveway of their home. Signs are well posted with where to go. It is a huge property full of luscious trees, palms, & bushes. We were greeted by the owner Perry. I explained to Perry I have the very opposite of a green thumb and needed something hearty. Perry asked about our yard, soil type, and sun light. He then showed us around his property and what would work best in our yard, including a miniature peach tree to fit in a small space! All the trees we purchased are mature and ready to produce fruit. Signs are posted not to eat the fruit (Perry explained that he wants people to be able to purchase trees with fruit on them ready to go home) but let us try a few items we were interested in to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Perry explained when the different fruits would bloom so we knew what to expect when we got home. We had them planted within a week of coming home and they have already taken off with new foliage and blooms. My son has been so excited to go out everyday and see if blueberries are ready for picking and picking his own mandarin orange. Such a cool place, you don't find nurseries anymore. Can't find mature fruit ready to eat like this at Home Depot. Happy to support local small business and my yard looks so spruced up!!

Perry was beyond helpful in assisting me in finding the right fruit trees for my backyard. He also helped us look for the best plants based on his selection at the time. I wanted to get an Avocado tree and he warned me about how costly it would be because of how much water the plant requires and I greatly appreciated his honesty. I went about 4 months ago and the guava and stone trees are producing beautiful fruit and my kids love picking blueberries in the yard. I could not have been happier with my experience and I will be back :) pick up was super easy as well. highly recommend!

Excellent tree selection, and very knowledgeable staff. Location is a little bit out-of-the-way, but very worthwhile going there.

My wife wanted her own macadamia nut tree and avocado tree so we found this place online and called them.

There's a fruit tasting table and I remember the first time I came in and tasted some fruit I'd never even heard of before. If you're a foodie or if you enjoy rare or tropical fruit or even if you're a fan of botanical gardens, this place is amazing It's a mom and pop place (actually just a pop place cause I think the owner Steve who started it still runs it by himself). The sign said they have been here since the 80s. Anyway because it's a small nursery and open 7 days a week, it's a good idea to call if you're planning to make a long journey to visit just to make sure they haven't stepped out. It's usually fine but I see people on other reviews have come in from far away without calling and it's just a good idea to call if it's a mom and pop nursery and you have a long drive. My favorite fruit was white sapote, cherimoya, the bazillions of types of guavas they have, ice cream bean was delicious, and I never knew palms have delicious fruit (what????). I come about twice a year from San Diego and as San Diego nurseries go, this place is in a league of its own. I even just like walking around in there to relax cause it's almost like a fruit botanical garden. And some of the small stuff is very affordable Highly recommend if you have a few hours free to explore this place. It's a great nursery -- kinda like the Garden of Eden!

Unfortunately, we lived in Encinitas so the climate didn't allow the avocado to thrive but she loved getting Asian/Hawaiian plants, and fruits from this nursery. The scene that will greet you is a dirt path and two-sided parking spaces. Try them, very wooded and dense, like you are in the forest, which I loved since I am from back East and we have huge trees and green wooded areas. The staff are very knowledgeable and the value is great. If your plant doesn't grow, call them, and they guide you or replace the plant. I love this place. If I had a house, I would be here for my roses and fruit plants.

Jungle Jack's!! The name alone makes you wanna go. The only difficulty was their hours, as most days they close at 2pm. Luckily we had the perfect opportunity with it being the Valentine Day weekend, I wanted to get my wife something special and we took the whole family up to Jungle Jack's. While it was a little out of the way the drive was certainly worth it, nice to see all parts of San Diego. When we arrived we found some parking and started to walk around. The nursery itself is massive - tons of space with a huge assortment of plants along with a metric ton of Plumeria. My personal favorite aspects were the theme - they didn't shy away from the Jungle aspect of the name. Ended up sitting in some pretty cool Elephant chairs where I met the adorable dog aka: Cowboy. We found everything we were looking for and the staff were not only knowledgable but super friendly. Was such a treat to go out there - our family felt very welcomed. We certainly made some big purchases that day - it felt like it was well worth the investment. Not only with the quality of the plants, but wanting to support the store. Gotta love supporting local businesses. If you are looking for some Plumeria this is certainly a nursery to check out.
