The manager and staff are really nice. I think Ed went out of his way to make sure that my sister received a new air conditioner. It was really hot in her air conditioner quit and very fortunate that she paid for a five-year warranty. The store had a few customers at the time I was there, but they were able to attend to my concerns immediately.. it really looks like they have a lot of product and furniture and a wonderful place to shop. I purchased over $12,000.00 in appliances for 4 duplexes I built from the Gaylord Michigan ABC Warehouse store. I dealt with a salesman named Chuck. When I went to install the appliances in August all 4 Frigidaire refrigerators had identical door dents in the same place on the bottom right corners. In September Chuck arranged for new doors to be shipped me. 3 months later the doors didn't come so Dave Vario from ABC Warehouse had 4 new refrigerators shipped to my duplexes. Upon arrival all 4 refrigerators were dented in the same place. Today January 6, 2025 Ed the store manager tells me they want to give me a check for $250.00 after a $12,000.00 purchase. If that's the way ABC Warehouse feels about a 12k customer imagine how they will treat YOU!! If I wanted dented appliances I would have bought dented merchandise at half the price. read more

We purchased a refrigerator from ABC Warehouse. It was delivered today. The refrigerator had 3 dents in the side of it. I called the store in Gaylord and the salesman said "I'm sorry it is dented but I gave you a good deal on it". He offered to give us 10 percent back of the purchase price. He said that is the most ABC corporate allows. When the drivers left after setting up the frig they left all the cardboard, styrofoam, plastic etc out in our yard. They didn't even attempt to clean up the mess! Very disappointed! read more

Hey I ordered a 65inch TV from ABC wear house three weeks later and I have no tv no money. And after three weeks and the run around from hell I still just get the answer of its in the wear house and you should get it on Friday. I guess if you don't have the money for them to hold and not send you what you want or need you might want to shop somewhere else. The only positive thing i can say about this store is sales staff knew the product. I purchased a washer and dryer recently was extreamly disappointed! Once purchased, everything about the experience, service and delivery was the worst I've have ever had with an appliance purchase. Unclear delivery expectations- Maybe I did not understand clearly, im not an appliance expert- but I am an intelligent consumer and knew what was needed before signing the sale contract! I expected and made my self clear about needing delivery AND install AND removal of old washer and dryer units. The delivery guys showed up and refused to do anything but leave the packaged and boxed new washer and dryer in my garage. I had to beg them to wait a minute while I tried to call the store and get this resolved, but the 2 guys ignored me, said im not ready and proceeded to leave! They would not even talk to me, were very rude and unprofessional. Do not buy products from this store and most certinally do not expect any services at your home! Very disappointed! read more

Sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Mattress we bought was great. They hauled old the old one away and set up the new one. Only problem is they didn't take the packing material. Left cardboard all over my front lawn for me to pickup and dispose. Why take the old mattress and not packing? Left me mad. read more

I agree with Mikki and Vickie. I will never shop at the Gaylord ABC again. I was looking for a refrigerator. Mr. Saleman showed me a couple that met my needs. He wanted me to take the floor models, both which had dents and dings and was not willing to adjust the price at all. When asked about delivery, those were not available and the one which was available could not be shipped for over a week with a $40 charge for delivery right in Gaylord. I told him I was going to look at his competitors and see what they offered. He smugly told me "Oh, you will be back. We have the best deal." Well, surprise Mr. Salesman. I went to Homedepot, 1/2 mile down the road, was treated with respect, found a refrigerator of the same size for a lower price and free delivery by the end of the week. I just bought an upright freezer from HD without even entering ABC. They will never get another chance from me. Extremely disappointed!!! I put a furniture package on lay-a-way last June. I called to check the length of the couch to rent a trailer. I was told then that my furniture is not available. Because of Covid-19 manufacturing is behind. I get the whole slow production problem but my issue is not being told this up front! The salesman Mark informed me that the lamps were in Bay City and they would be brought up to Gaylord and if I wanted to pay the balance I could get everything but the couch and chair. He then said I could see what was "in stock" and we could work out a swap on the couch and chair. No, didn't happen they informed me nothing was in stock and no lamps. I live 1 1/2 hours away and rented a Uhaul trailer because they don't deliver over the bridge. I was also told upon initial setup that I could make credit card payments over the phone. When I called to make one I was told no I needed to pay in person or mail a money order. Needless to say I asked for a refund and it had to go on a credit card because they didn't have cash. Which in turn meant even if I did go somewhere else to get things I didn't have half of my $$ to spend. Not happy and will never go back or recommend! read more

We purchased a Kitchen Aid gas stove from ABC Warehouse, Gaylord, Mi In August, 2019. We immediately noticed it was not heating correctly and we contacted ABC.. We were told we had to contact Kitchen Aid. Our first call was made approximately October 20. The rep said a serviceman would contact us soon. Nov 16, another call was made. Same response. Nov 19, third call. Service rep said there were no service agents in my area. Really!! Why is ABC selling appliance when nobody is available to repair. Never ever buy a Kitchen Aid appliance from ABC. read more

In August 2021 we purchased a new LG refrigerator from Mark in Gaylord. He asked if we wanted our old working one picked up. We had delivery guys take old one. When I contacted LG about the rebate (info card about it is in paperwork inside frig & we also got a postcard in the mail) they said to call DTE our electric service provider, who told me to contact ABC for the return confirmation number. I called the Gaylord store. They had no idea what i was talking about. I left a message since Mark wasn't in. He didn't return my call for over a week. I contacted him and he said he didn't know anything about it. I sent corporate office an email and they were not helpful at all. (Said I needed proof that it was working and only DTE could give credit for it). DTE said if I had a confirmation from ABC for the pick up they would issue it. ABC corporate says they never have utiliy company come pick up appliances. This is contrary to DTE telling me that they usually pick up there once a month. So someone got my $50 credit. I won't be shopping there again. I am very frustrated with the run around. read more

I bought with cash a chromebook on black friday. When I realized you can not print from a chromebook I decided to return it. I have the receipt and original box. I was told they did not have cash for a return. They would send me a check (as if that would happen) in a week if I wanted. I'm sorry but if you are in business and accept cash as payment you should have cash for returns. I was told it was too early in the day. I will NOT ever go there again. I purchased a Gas Range from Lowe's for my tenant. They pushed my delivery date back twice, so my tenant started calling around to see if we could get a stove delivered sooner. He called this ABC Warehouse and was told by Jesse that they would be able to deliver by Wednesday of that week. So I called Jesse and spoke with him about the stoves they had in stock. We found a stove that he said was in stock and that I could get with free delivery on Wednesday. I said great and told him I would call him back after I cancelled my Lowe's order. True to my word I called him back and gave him my credit card information over the phone. He took my address and sent me a copy of my receipt. Jump ahead three days and now it's Wednesday. My tenant calls me at noon and asks if I know when they will be there to deliver said stove. I told him I would call and find out. I called ABC warehouse in Gaylord, Michigan to find out when we were in the delivery line up. Only to be told that I never purchased a stove. Gave them the receipt information and they rudely told me that part of the receipt was missing and that I never paid for the stove. I gave Jesse all of my information and repeated my credit card information and cvv number several times for clarity. I was told that they DO NOT take credit cards over the phone. I have since cancelled my credit card!! Something isn't right about this situation at all!! I thought I was taking care of my tenant. Then I find out that I haven't and I am treated as though I'm not telling the truth!! All of this by their Regional Manager I want to add. All he kept saying was Jesse knows we don't do this and that. Jesse wouldn't do that. Well maybe Jesse had a bad day and forgot. I will NEVER shop this ABC Warehouse and will tell everyone I know how terrible they are to customers. One last piece of information, my tenant only called this exact store because his friend told him she was able to buy her washer and dryer from them over the phone with her credit card.
