We had issues with the original dentist we had moved too due to closeness to home. So we moved to an excellent dentist near home that we loved, but she ended up moving & the dentist that took over didn't want to take our insurance anymore. So when we started looking again we remembered our positive experience we had when my oldest was younger here at Pediatric Smiles. We had an amazing first visit back with my oldest and a first visit with my youngest. The staff here is friendly and helpful; and made for a smooth transition here. No pre op for surgery My 3 year old was intubated in his office (every dentist I consulted with told me this was not normal) Not conservative when recommending treatment Poor follow up after dental procedures No on call physicians for dental emergency too busy taking vacations My son had zero dental pain and now he's in the worst still 2 months after procedure Crown fell off a day after procedure Dental abcesses 2 months after procedure when again my son had no issues before besides demineralization we believed him when trying to be "preventative" and everything we were trying to avoid from happening actually happened WITH the treatment. He was is the most pain for weeks!!!!! My sons 2 front teeth are infected after his treatment. Please google him prior to having any treatment. I am writing this review based on my own experience. Luckily his current dentist is THE best and said these dentists need to be more conservative. She felt so bad for us she didn't even charge us bc she felt so sorry for him. She said his teeth had a little trauma from a fall when he was little and that they were going to fall out sooner rather than later and he should NOT have done what he did to my son.

Since then, I have received countless texts & calls asking me to call back. I have blocked a handful of different numbers. Last week I received a letter in the mail, thanking me for choosing them. I did not. I have specifically not chosen this office. They texted me a few days ago and I wrote back asking them to never contact me again. Today, I received two text messages asking me to return some sleep device that I have never even heard of. I have no interest in interacting with this office ever again. I know they're going to write a response to this review apologizing and asking for more feedback so that they can improve. I don't care. This, and any other negative reviews I choose to write will be the only feedback you get from me. I have given you plenty of feedback, plenty of indications of how you can treat me so that I feel respected. It's clear that your office's desire for business is greater than your desire to respect me. If you're a trauma survivor, run from this office. I was upfront, asked them for help, told them how they could support me, and their response was telling me they "know how to handle people like me" and then the dentist continued to use a pick on my teeth and gums, all while literally telling me "I'm not doing anything.
