My son has autism and has never been able to go to the dentist sucessfully (ie. without a meltdown) until we met Dr. Bui. Maybe it was the video games in the front or the fact that the xrays are digital and thus easier and less uncomfortable for him, or maybe it's the sunny, open treatment area. Likely, it's the way the doctor and the staff spoke slowly and softly to him, like they had all the time in the world. He breezed through the appt. and and happily scarfted down the sugar free candy he got on the way out. My daughter had a cavity filled by Dr. Bui. She got a composite filling. Ifound everything to be satisfactory with that. We had to pay extra for sedation because our insurance did not cover it. I feel it was worth it, she slept through the procedure and has only pleasant memories of the experience. The office staff always print out a note for school, which is convenient, and this time we were able to get a Saturday appt. so we won't have to miss any school. The office is a little hard to find since it is tucked away in a medical office park filled with other one story buildings that all look the same.

Even had a conversation referring me to different places of interest since we are new to the DFW. How sweet of them to take the time (while no other customers were there) was to tell me places that might be fun to take my little one! The dental assistant was super sweet! Very good with my son! It's important to make sure kids feel comfortable and relaxed and my son was so comfortable with him. And he even made my son a balloon animal! How cool! As if it could get any better the dentist was just as awesome! Very knowledgeable and great with my son. Very caring group of people! For me it was the receptionist taking the time to call my dental insurance provider and double checking it for me. My provider wasn't one they had typically worked with but there were no issues. The new patient forms were all on the iPad (I'm a millennial can you tell?) and that's so much better. I loathe paper forms. Oh yeah! No pre op for surgery My 3 year old was intubated in his office (every dentist I consulted with told me this was not normal) Not conservative when recommending treatment Poor follow up after dental procedures No on call physicians for dental emergency too busy taking vacations My son had zero dental pain and now he's in the worst still 2 months after procedure Crown fell off a day after procedure Dental abcesses 2 months after procedure when again my son had no issues before besides demineralization we believed him when trying to be "preventative" and everything we were trying to avoid from happening actually happened WITH the treatment. He was is the most pain for weeks!!!!! My sons 2 front teeth are infected after his treatment. Please google him prior to having any treatment. I am writing this review based on my own experience. Luckily his current dentist is THE best and said these dentists need to be more conservative. She felt so bad for us she didn't even charge us bc she felt so sorry for him. She said his teeth had a little trauma from a fall when he was little and that they were going to fall out sooner rather than later and he should NOT have done what he did to my son.

Today, I received two text messages asking me to return some sleep device that I have never even heard of. I have no interest in interacting with this office ever again. I know they're going to write a response to this review apologizing and asking for more feedback so that they can improve. I don't care. This, and any other negative reviews I choose to write will be the only feedback you get from me. I have given you plenty of feedback, plenty of indications of how you can treat me so that I feel respected. It's clear that your office's desire for business is greater than your desire to respect me. If you're a trauma survivor, run from this office. I was upfront, asked them for help, told them how they could support me, and their response was telling me they "know how to handle people like me" and then the dentist continued to use a pick on my teeth and gums, all while literally telling me "I'm not doing anything. I don't know why you're upset" Gaslighting. Update: they're still reaching out. This office doesn't know when to stop.
