This is much better than the place by me (Mojo's). The portion size is huge. They give you a ton of meat, the bun is soft, and meat is tender. They have a lot of deals. Service was a bit slow but there were only two people working so that wasn't a big deal. Food was made fresh and hot at the time of order. No complaints there. I got a gyro. The meat seemed a bit odd in texture from others I have had. Like it was double ground ? Didn't have the chew that I was used to. Tomatoes and onions were plentiful and the tzatziki sauce could have had a touch more cucumber flavor. The fries were great !! Husband got a gym shoe. *Be warned* this thing is HUGE !! Like served in a 9x13 pan with fries huge !!! This is a meal for at least two !! But it was very tasty !!! Kiddo got a double cheese burger that he inhaled. All meals came with yummy fries. No fountain drinks just bottles and cans. The only downside is all the condiments are in little packets. We are a family that loves ketchup on fries but didn't want to tear open a ton of little packets. Maybe a bottle or two of ketchup on the counter for eat in orders next time. And a a few extra napkins other than the one that comes in the plastic cutlery packet too. Your sammiches are juicy. We need more napkins !! read more

It smelled so good I didn't even take a picture of my food. I was starving and needed something delicious and filling. I was suggested to come here and god I was not disappointed whatsoever. Got the crispy chicken wrap with fries, fried mushrooms, along with my partner getting a gyro wrap and fries as well. This is so good, you will come back. Service was fast and efficient, with lots of options for seasonings and sauces. The inside feels like a casual place on a summer day. Bright colors and always renovating, I loved how casual this was with really high quality food. Blows a lot of fried chicken out of the water, I wish I had four stomaches to eat more. Very clean inside and open late at night. Best Philly steak i have finally found in Bolingbrook. Seasonsed well and perfect amount of steak, sauce, cheese, and toppings; tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers. Also, got the boneless chicken with Buffalo sauce. They were still crispy and plenty of buffalo sauce for every bite. Fries were crispy and soft inside, non were too greasy or soggy. Not too salty and the seasoning was well balanced. They recommended to try to dip the fries in their mild sauce. It was amazing. It wasn't spicy and was more sweet like bbq, but not a thick consistency like bbq. Want to add that they will open the containers for you to see and check that it's the correct order and how it turned out. You get to add sauce or seasoning directly on your food or ask for it to go. read more

Stayed at a nearby hotel and got Door dash to deliver the great food. We tried the philly cheese steak, white fish, perch, and lemon pepper chicken wings. Everything was excellent! Fries were still crispy even after delivery. More than enough food. We had left overs for a couple days. Wings were fried to perfection and seasoned very well. Fish could have used a little more seasoning but fried perfectly. Cheese steak was over flowing and probably enough for two. Next time I'm in the area, I will definitely eat there again. read more

When this place 1st opened the fish and burgers were good,after visiting a few times we tried the nachos which had super weird cheese sauce with a weird flavor,and we had the fried catfish meal which made us both sick and unable to work the next day,I eat catfish a lot and it didn't taste like catfish the last time we went,so we won't return. Abd's Diner is a great a great "hole in a wall" type of restaurant. Unless you reside in Bolingbrook, IL, you really would not be too familiar with the place. It's family owned, ran by three brothers. They're all super friendly and make you feel welcome upon entering the restaurant. When I come here, I usually order the Philly steak or Italian beef sandwich, which is always good. However, this time I decided to go with their cheeseburger. The burger was super juicy and flavorful, and it pretty big. They had run out of tomatoes, but it wasn't too big of a deal. We also got a 10 piece chicken wing dinner and catfish nugget dinner. Their chicken wings never disappoint. I was told that they always use new grease for each chicken wing dinner. Their chicken is always golden brown, crispy, super flavorful (somebody knows how to season food) and hot. This chicken is delicious! This was the first time having their catfish nuggets, but they were on sale point as well, no disappointment. You get a side of fries with all of their meals, which are always cooked the way I like, crunchy. They also have a mild and hot sauce that you can add on your food. I have to add that this restaurant is always clean, and the bathroom is usually clean as well. If you're in Bolingbrook, and looking to for a good, quality and affordable food, I would definitely recommend this Abd's Diner. read more

I hosted holiday dinner and decided to do something different for the family. We ordered wings and catfish fillets. The order was placed a couple days in advance. I drove from 30 minutes away to get the food and it was ready as soon as I walked in. It was an absolute hit! My family loved every piece of food. Needless to say, I don't have any pictures to post because they devoured it. I had to share the location details as everyone said they will visit there for their own food. It was our first visit to Abd's and it was a great experience. We ordered the Philly Steak fried wrap, Double Cheeseburger, fried Calamari, and Chicken Nuggets. All came with fries. All were fresh and delicious. All the fried items including the fries were crispy. The burger had a great beefy flavor and juicy and tender. The place was clean and well lit. And Ray was a great host, being very hospitable and friendly. And made sure our food was to order. He offered us some sauces to try, a barbecue sauce and a hot sauce. The barbecue sauce was tasty and was great with the fries and nuggets. I don't care for hot sauces except on my eggs, but their hot sauce is a decent one. I highly recommend this place, based on the quality of the food, friendly service, inviting atmosphere, and the fact it's open later than the average restaurant. We ordered fried catfish with fries and some nachos. The catfish was soggy and didn't have much flavor. I had to put it in the air fryer at home because it was so soggy that it was falling apart. It didn't taste good. The fries were greasy and soggy. I could tell that the oil wasn't heated high enough before the guy started cooking them. The nacho cheese wasn't good and it smelled weird. I'm not even sure how a place can ruin nachos,but they succeed with that. We had to throw our food away,that's how bad it was. I don't plan on returning. read more

Wow, We've been ordering from Abd's for about a year and a half. We have had all sorts of food. Burgers, gyro, hot dogs, beefs and they are all amazing. My favorite artery buster is the Gym shoe. WOW. It has Italian beef, gyro meat, and corned beef with cheese and peppers. it is AWESOME! Everything comes with fries, and their homemade ketchup is awesome too! The customer service is great too. I've been wanting to try this place since everyone has been raving about it in Bolingbrook! Believe me when I say this isn't in the best strip mall and doesn't look like much inside. However it did appear to be clean inside. The man behind the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. I tried the Crispy Gym Shoe sandwich which is what I've majorly heard about. It has cheese, corned beef, gyros, Italian beef, green pepper, and onion. Which any can be omitted cause it is made fresh so be prepared to wait about 10-15 minutes so call in your order if you know what you want. It will come with Tzatziki sauce and wrapped in Philo dough then deep fried. OMG!! Not dietary by any means!! You may want to soak up a couple napkins in grease. Trust me when I say this sandwich is HUGE! I ate this 3x's! It would be great if they have half portions for half the price? My hubby got a Gyros Plate which was big enough for 2 to share. He is extremely picky and he really liked it as well. I'm looking forward to trying their chicken and many others yummy fried foods on their menu. read more

Ok, I decided to give this place a try. Got the jumbo shrimp for $15. It came with fries and theses were big shrimp. Done just right. My only thought was they didn't have any cocktail sauce. I just love their catfish fillets they are delicious and they are large and oh so fresh. i especially like their lemon pepper on them. They come with french fries too. Everyone who works there are so nice and friendly. You can even eat there if you want they have some tables there. I would definitely recommend their food. EDIT: Im dropping them to 1 star. These people will try you. One day they're nice, the next they're trying to cheat you. They make they're own prices despite them being posted. They give fake receipts. I am no longer patronizing this business. I AM PISSED OFF! I've sent family and friends here but all these places are the same. They get their footing in the neighborhood then start acting funny. Im done! Ain't no food important enough for me keep fkn with ppl that disrespect you. I got one price on the phone, made a $2 adjustment and got charged a whole $5.20 more. Then dude tore my receipt up immediately when I questioned the price and gave me a receipt with no details when I asked for a copy. This place is dead to me. Keep tha $5 lil bich cuz you won't get a $1 more frome me and mine. Good luck. I"m giving them 3 stars because one of the guys who works the counter is a b!tcher & moaner. I ordered a gyro sandwich and when they opened up the place lid. I didn't see the meat, I was trying to hurry up and had to get home. I got home and it was a chicken too late couldn't return it.
